Easy to enter, room was nicely equipped.

Used the parking recommended by Sonder, $20 a day with in and out privileges. I checked in paid for parking and then left to pick up my friend from the airport. When I got back the parkade was full and we had to park BLOCKS away and drag all our luggage back. After I had already paid $20 for overnight parking. When I informed the staff they were super unhelpful and basically said it wasn’t their problem because the parking was run by someone else (despite the facility recommending it). It was pretty annoying to end up paying $20 for 30 minutes of parking and get zero compensation despite asking the staff to refund my parking.

Keypad entry all went well, even from the underground parking lot. Room with kitchen was perfect. I prefer no maid service, so this suited me, everything worked, all the appliances, etc. Good location, even for going down to parliament. Elevator was always quick. App explained things in detail, had to look up how to turn the heat down and it was all there in the app with good instructions.

Limited counter space around the single sink in the bathroom to put personal toiletries and hair dryer, curling iron, etc.

amazing location, brand new facilities, beds in the bedroom are very comfortable. definitely worth the price!

sofa bed has bed bugs. =( before I check in I specifically asked for clean set of bed sheet, comforter and pillows…. we couldn’t sleep the first night due to bed bugs. we complained, staff was very nice and give us partial refund . also change whole set of liners. they handled our complaint 5 star.

The location is great, right opposite the canadian museum of nature, walking distance to amenities and not far from the airport/bus services. Bank/elgin is one of my favorite parts of the city, and centretown offers a lot of great restaurants/cafes. I really enjoyed making use of the roku tv and the in house gym was a huge bonus; good space. and I really appreciated the provision of extra coffee/soap at no charge!

The room could have been a little bit cleaner, the carpet was dirty and there was some dust/grime. I was unfortunately right next to the elevator which meant I heard a lot of movement, the property do provide ear plugs and white noise machine to assist. The room is small, but this was as advertised.

We like the feel of "home" when we stay there. The separate bedroom, the kitchen and dining area are great, as we stay for a number of days. The games room (ping pong table especially) and the gym allow us to unwind and stay fit. The fact the hotel allows us to recycle also is a bonus to our lifestyle.

When we booked our corner room with a balcony we were quite excited about having this as a new feature for our stay. We were quite disappointed that it is a seasonal item and we wouldn't have access to the balcony. This was not mentioned when we booked the room. The other shortcoming of the stay was the closure of the parking garage for the pressure washing of it, which we learned of it only day or two ago before. My partner and I each need a rental car and for us both to find parking elsewhere in a busy urban area made our stay more stressful. I've stayed in many hotels over the years and have never had one tell me that the parking garage was closed for two days. Perhaps keeping one level open while the other was being cleaned and then alternating?

I loved the location. The building is very secure with all security codes at entrance, room was very clean, apartment style with all amenities. I would have preferred more space in bathroom, like shelves above toilet area to place my belongings. I was not crazy about the pillows on bed but then again that is a very specific preference. Next time I will bring my own pillow. Should I return again to Ottawa, I will definitely return to the Sonder but will choose a larger room. Thank you again.

I would have liked daily maid service to empty garbage and change towels daily.

It's nice to be between Elgin and Bank streets so it's more quiet in the evening. There's a Farm Boy (grocery store) and many other stores (pharmacy, wine store, LCBO, restaurants) within minutes of walking nearby.

The bedding duvet had stains (the side away from the body - only noticed it on my checkout day), the bathroom sink's plug was not working (one that you push down) and there are no hand towel bars\hooks. The hand soap bottle in the kitchen was broken and unusable. These are simple fixes so hopefully they get remedied on my next visit.

There were all the bathroom accessories and lots of towels. Also the bed linen and towels were very clean.

No bottle of water. Loud heater .No phone to contact reception. The blinds on the window were quite dirty (stained). Two of the three lamps did not work. The TV has no buttons and the remote has no volume buttons (or maybe I just didn't figure it out). Early check-in is quite expensive, you should reconsider this policy. Check-out is at 11:00 and check-in is at 4 pm. I think this is too late for check-in, you need to do it at 1 pm,since people from the plane have to sit in the lobby for half a day.

Very well located and equipped and quite comfortable and quite quiet for a capital downtown!! Stayed here 8 nights. The locker on the last day was perfect. Calling an Uber from and to the airport as well! By chance talking with reception, always with helpful people at desk, and I started using Holafly eSIM service and it's fantastic! A/C and the ventilation from the bathroom could be a bit noisy, but usually do not like A/C so it was fine, turning it off. The ventilation in the bathroom might just need a quick easy, repair. Carpets were comfortable, but would also prefer without.
