First, I got an upgrade to an executive suite and that was a very welcome gesture. As soon as I checked into the executive room, I immediately knew I wanted to extend my stay at the hotel, which I did for an additional 3 nights. And I still stayed in the executive suite for those additional nights. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Ottawa making it easy to walk around and navigate the historical and memorial sites with much ease. Indeed, there is value for money. Staff are extremely friendly and supportive. My TV was fixed in a split second after I reported. Free laundry facilities are an additional gesture that make life extremely easy for travelers. Washing detergent is also provided. Breakfast has a thousand options and appropriate for all ages and meets dietary needs for everyone. Kudos to that. Thank you to The Business Inn.

We love this place especially because of the staff. They are so nice and accommodating. My husband is a pianist and has concerts once a month regularly. 3 in one weekend. So we stay there regularly. The location, the breakfast. All amazing , but mostly the staff.

This time the bed was not comfortable and the room was tight. I am handicap so with the wheelchair, or a walker this room on the friend floor was not good. The best was on the third floor, next to the elevator, (across the breakfast room). Parking 27 was amazing. Also I didn’t like the vacuum cleaner hanging in the middle of the room.

We booked a queen studio and it was so perfect will all the basic amenities included. The best part was balcony which really give me very lively feel. And also a great location for tourists. Too many food place are just on 2-3 min walk and also parliament hill is even on walking distance. Parking facilities was also provided for $20 per night . And also great breakfast service was included. All in all it's a great place to stay in Ottawa for a leisure trip.

There's nothing for shopping around it and also if you are a nature beloved person this will not help at all.

The queen suite was spacious and comfortable. I was amazed that there was a computer in the room available for personal/business use - what a plus! There is a full kitchen with stove and fridge - all the necessities if you want to cook your own meals. The location is central to all amenities and within walking distance to great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable, the complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of choices for all. The front desk, breakfast and hospitality staff were super attentive, welcoming and friendly. The main entrance was being renovated so know that this property cares to improve the look, feel and comfort of the guests. Thank you for providing a fabulous place to stay away from home.

Not a thing!

I was pleasantly surprised by the price-to-quality ratio at this hotel. Although it was a budget trip, we received much more than we expected. Compared to hotels in Montreal and Toronto, where we paid significantly more for much lower quality, this stay was a great value. The room was fully equipped for any situation: a stove with an oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, a complete set of dishes and cutlery, refrigerator, iron and steamer, air conditioner, fan, air purifier, wall and bedside clocks, desk lamps, an automatic night light in the bathroom, hair dryer, vanity table with lighting, and even a full working space with a computer and printer. There were two TVs — one facing the sofa and another by the bed. It also had a bathtub, not just a shower cabin, which is a nice bonus. And that’s just part of the list! The location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk to the main attractions. Our windows faced Minto Park, so street noise wasn’t an issue, and the view was lovely. Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of products to suit almost any taste.

The room had poor sound insulation. We could hear both people in the hallway and noise from neighboring rooms. While the variety of equipment was impressive, most items were rather old and basic. However, everything worked fine, and that’s what really matters. The biggest disappointment was the refrigerator — it was spacious but very noisy at night and may disturb guests’ sleep. Also, I should mention that although our room faced the quiet side, I assume that rooms facing the opposite side of the building might experience street noise, as there is a large sports bar located there. Breakfast had a wide selection, but most products were store-bought rather than freshly prepared. Still, given that this isn’t a five-star hotel, I wouldn’t consider this a serious drawback.

The staff were incredibly friendly and allowed us to check in early which was a huge convenience as we had moved hotel. The breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold food. The gym and laundry facilities were also very good as I used them both on my one night stay. Also the room and its amenities were faultless for me. Parking facilities and close to the city centre made this a 10/10 stay.

Nothing at all I would highly recommend

The area the Inn was located was great. Everything was near us we needed. The room was amazing. Very spacious. The kitchen with all needed was also nice. The reception desk crew all were very helpful. Peter was helpful with where places are. And where to go. We were up for the production of Hamilton. Everything was walking distance. Breakfast was also amazing. Not your typical hotel choices. Lots to choose from. We also paid for underground parking, which was handy. And opted out of housekeeping for reimbursement of 10 a night. Would very much stay here again when visiting Ottawa.😁

Elevator small

Staff were super friendly We were upgraded upon arrival which was great. Instead of a studio suite we had a 2 bedroom suite which was so useful as I'd been doubting myself booking that for the 4 of us (2 parents and 2 17 year olds) Great and really quick communication with reception prior to arrival. We checked if we could leave our luggage in an hour in advance and they replied within minutes, when leaving the luggage off an hour before check-in they said they could check us in early - and then upgraded!! Allowed us to keep luggage in reception after check out, till our train at 6pm. Spotlessly clean suite Comfy beds and sofa bed Lots of necessities such as Dove bodywash/lotion/shampoo/conditioner. Central location, we were able to walk everywhere whilst in Ottawa (except for Gatineau Park) You were also given the option to optout of daily housekeeping and would have $10 back a day for this. Plentiful breakfast that you could take back to the room if you wished.

I feel bad saying anything as the staff really went above and beyond and so lovely. My only negative was the breakfast situation. It was super busy and everything was geared towards ease of the guests in take away portions, but it meant that there was a lot of package wastage and some guests didn't clear away their things, but that is more a reflection on the guests. The guy who worked in the breakfast room worked tirelessly to keep everything topped up and with fresh food.

Amazing location - close to restaurants, bars, pubs and entertainment. All the sights of Ottawa very walkable - Byward Market and Parliament buildings both about 15-20 mins. Friendly, courteous front desk staff and the room itself basic but clean and fairly comfortable. We had a small leak at the air conditioner, but the hotel was very responsive and had it fixed and cleaned up in a morning. All in all very good value.

The elevators are small - you do have to be prepared to wait a while or let them pass especially during the breakfast rush. The decor is a little tired, but clean. Breakfast was OK - it was a bit of a madhouse between 8-9 as the entire hotel was full and trying to cram into the small breakfast area! Breakfast options were a little carb filled - would have been nice to have some fruit - you could grab and go.

First of all, I want to leave a huge shoutout to the staff members! From check-in to check-out, they were kind, helpful, friendly, and did everything in their power to accommodate requests. My 2 pm flight was cancelled and I got rebooked for a 9 pm flight, and the staff very kindly allowed me to check-out a bit later and allowed me to stay in one of the breakfast rooms - which had sofas, tables, outlets, and a fridge with water bottles - for the remaining hours until I had to leave for the airport. The staff really made my entire experience a lot better, and I appreciate how friendly everyone was at all times! The rooms are big and very clean! The beds are super comfortable, the washroom is spacious and very clean, and the location is amazing. There are a lot of nice restaurants and pubs around the hotel, as well as a beautiful park. Not to mention it only takes 20 minutes walking to get to the Parliament, but there are also bus stops very close to the hotel if you want to go further. Will definitely stay here again!
