Cleanliness and location.

The only thing I was upset about was having staff knock on the door twice saying they had to get into the bathroom, while I was taking a shower, because it was leaking into the room underneath us. It is not proper to demand twice to go into a bathroom, when someone is physically in the shower and the issue was obviously in the walls, where it could not be seen. There was no issues of anything leaking, when I was taking a shower, which tells me, that it sounds like a pipe is broke somewhere. In the end, when my husband said I was in the shower the first time he came to the door, he should not of came back a second time demanding to still come in, when I was still clearly in the shower.

I loved the spacious room.

Didn't like the fact that the renovations currently underway were not brought to my attention. I kept having to call to figure out how to get into the hotel and that I had to drag my suitcases up and down a flight of stairs as the elevator doesn't go on the same floor as the door to go in/out. Also didn't like that there are not enough garbage receptacles in the room.

Great location. The hotel is going through renovations so there is some noise during the day but they give complementary breakfast to guests. The lady at the restaurant was very kind.

The room was not available for early check in. Also, we requested extra bedding but it was not prepared in advance. But ladies at the reception helped to sort everything out.

It was beautiful, clean motel and it smelled wonderful.

Our room was a king size room on the second floor and the room above us had stairs and you could hear someone running and jumping up and down the stairs until 2 am, which is not the fault of the motel, but the fact that I could hear it so very loudly was very unusual in a hotel. You don't normally hear that much noise from the rooms above you.

The location. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was newly renovated

The breakfast was absolutely not good , poor choice and low quality. The restaurant at the hotel was closed. The half of the hotel was under renovation. The things in the room weren’t changed daily, like cups for the coffee.

The room was spacious. They provided coffee for the machine. With being an English speaker, I was glad that they spoke good English. I was a little concerned about that on our trip up.

The shower head was low. I am short and it was barely above my head. All the texts I received were in French. I’m an English speaker. I do wish that they sent the text in both languages.

I got food poisoning (not from their restaurant) and was sick in bed the whole duration of my stay. The staff checked in on me, brought me clean linens, and food when I was weak. The room was updated.

A few noisy people in the hallway at night on last night there - a teenage hockey tournament.

The beds were fine; not as uncomfortable as some but could be more comfortable. The best thing was the jetted tub in the bathroom. Overall, it is starting to show its age; we've stayed before and I didn't notice some of the 'wear and tear' in the past that I did this trip.

Some disrepair and there was some noise one night (some sort of banging about 3 am). As well, we were 3 in the room and we had to keep asking for the 3rd set of towels..

The area, the scenery, and the room. I love the jacuzzi with the shower. It is convenience and the setup was great. I love the fireplace in the room, and the air conditioner was well needed.

I asked for a double A battery for the safe and was told they would bring it up, which they didn't. On the 2nd day... I went out to get my own

The room was spacious and clean. The Nexpresso coffee maker was a nice touch. The heating system was better than most. The staff was very accommodating: they gave us a requested microwave, cleaned the room earlier one day to accommodate our schedule and assisted us with an early checkout due to an upcoming snowstorm. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. The sauna was nice. They have a fitness center but we did not use it this time. Close to Gatineau Park.

The hot tub was not operational, which we like to use after skiing. Perhaps it is shut down for good? However, they did provide two benches in the pool near the jets. Of course, the pool water was not as warm as a hot tub. The pool didn't look crystal clean.
