My daughter left her sunglasses in the room and when we called to ask if they had been found we were told that they had not been found. So they were stolen by a staff member! Not happy!

Everything! The location can’t be beat. I liked getting the coupon for the free drink. I loved the rooftop lounge, the service in the lounge and at reception were very nice. The beds were fantastic! And thank you for having good normal pillows. I fell asleep and I don’t even remember, and I don’t remember waking up in the middle of the night!

The food in the lounge was, a little in my opinion, overpriced, but you’re also paying for that view. I also didn’t care much for my service that I received at breakfast. He wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t with it. But that’s it!

We had a corner room facing the Market so it was a great view. I'd stay here again for location and service - both topnotch. Obviously the construction portion of the view wasn't great, but what can you do?!?

The room decor looks more like a travel lodge or motor hotel type-furniture - quite cheap considering the luxury price of the hotel. At the same time, the furniture is relatively new and does the trick. The bed has got a rise in the middle, and dips down on either side, but its really comfy.

We loved being able to bring our dogs and how close it was to both the ByWard market and parliment! The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Parking was a bit confusing we knew that we wanted to Valet but didn’t know we could pull out front and park until valet was ready to take our vehicle. Their QR code for the vehicle retrieval also didn’t work for us but no worries we were able to get help in the lobby. Construction was going on directly beside the hotel and we could hear it pretty early. Obviously nothing the hotel can do about it but just something to take note of if you’re traveling with young ones or are hoping to sleep in.

The bed was super comfy and the room was so clean

The problem is there is no coffee machine at the room, to be honest this is -2 point for me. There are couple machines at the enterance but the quality of coffee omg disaster sorry guys, I love the hotel but the coffee machines looks so dirty and the coffee was like water.

Loved the luxury feel to the room, loved the gym facility, love the location. Love the wine voucher. Staff was great and friendly . I’ll be coming back for another writing retreat.

It was a bummer finding stains on the mattress, but I appreciated that when I called front desk to report the possible hygiene, maybe Pest Control issue staff didn’t hesitate. Immediately switched our rooms to a different floor. Love the speedy response.

The king size room was very nice and clean. I really liked the different layout.The location was excellent. It was near the Byward Market and within walking distance of other sites of interest.

It was a little noisy due to construction outside but they had pre-advised this and left ear plugs (which I didn’t wear as I probably would not have heard an alarm). My only other disappointment was I had 2 issues on separate evenings that needed staff assistance and both times it took multiple requests over a long period of time to get the issues dealt with

It's the first time I've been to a hotel that is clean like that! Wonderful job done by the staff to keep the property clean. The room is big enough. Unlimited snacks, beverages, refills, etc. Well maintained. Security at night at the lobby.

If you are facing the parliament hill, it will be loud at night. People screaming on the streets, sirens, music, etc. (was worse on Saturday night). But they furnish ear plugs in your room. The risk to be in vibrant neighborhood. A lot of homeless people surrounding the hotel but that's everywhere on the streets and security staff is there at night.

The front desk staff Mika served me. She was polite and friendly. She fulfilled my needs quickly. The view from the rooftop is amazing, and there was also a free glass of wine that came with my stay. The location was hard to beat. Close to restaurants and tourism spots.

There was a construction site next to the hotel building so you may hear some noise during the day.

The restaurant breakfast was very, very good - we loved it actually. There was construction nearby and the staff was very honest about what to expect and provided extras to compensate for the disturbance. It was very loud, but luckily we were already awake and ready to leave so it didn't affect us too much. Excellent location in byward market.

The construction was the only negative. I imagine that is over by now.
