This was our first time staying here and it did not disappoint! Upon entering, the entryway was clean and bright. Check in was very quick and easy. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) had a non smoking room on the first floor with 2 queen size beds. The room was clean & fit my expectations fairly well. The furniture seemed to all be in good condition. Bathroom had more then enough towels, hand towels and face towels to use. Spent some time in the pool area with the kids, there was a slide (didn't go on it), 2 whirlpools, a smaller pool where my almost 2 yr old could stand in and a bigger pool that was more then 4ft deep. Before entering the pool area with the kids, I checked it out and noticed they were low on pool towels, I let the front desk lady know and by the time I arrived back with my family, they had put more towels! Breakfast was wonderful too. Hot food included pancakes, eggs, hash browns and breakfast sausage (flat kind). There was cereal, toast, yogurt, and eggs also available, along with orange juice, apple juice and coffee. Check out was surprisingly easier then check in, just handed back our key card and that was it! The area of the hotel felt safe and there was tons of parking available. I will definitely be staying here again when we pass through Regina. Highly recommend!

Overall the hotel is very nice for what you pay for. Only a couple things that I noticed but were not deal breakers by any means: 1) The tub in our bathroom drained very slowly, definately need to get it unclogged but wasn't terrible. 2) the pool area needs some work. In the whirlpools specifically you could tell it was old just due to discoloration. There were also several areas where the paint had chipped. The flooring also had some areas that were worked away and jagged. I'd recommend having the pool maintenance updated if anything. I also noticed that there was someone having swimming lessons in the pool, unsure if this is a regular thing the hotel offers outside of staying but it did not bother us, just something to mention.

the staff were good and the food was as well , we got unlucky with the people that were at the hotel as the same time as us . parents would let their children run back and forth in the hallways knocking on other peoples doors . Then the electricity went out for about for about 15 min. Then the parents were talking in the hallways . fire trucks came and people were saying someone was in the elevator ,all turned out well . The grandchildren loved the pool .

out of control parents and children . Not the hotels fault but still does not help when you are trying to sleep .

the breakfast left something to be desired. the eggs were like rubber pucks and hardly tasted like eggs. the sausages were actually like hamburger paddies and greasy. there wasnt much more variety. no yogurt, no muffins, no fresh fruit. it was a bare minimum breakfast.

the breakfast could have been better. the male people at the reception desk could use training on how to smile and create a cordial friendly greeting rather than just demand your credit card and drivers licsense with a stone cold facial expression. really? canada is not such a bad place.

Convenient location. Continental breakfast was good and abundant. Pool and spa great but only thing is if they could add a few places to sit when not in the pool as it was difficult to get up and down off the floor. Staff were friendly. Lots of renovations being done but wasn't too bothersome. Gym facility was simple. 2 treadmill and 1 elliptical, a rack of dbells, 3 mats and a bench. Could put an exercise ball and elastics and it would have been great. We went at a quiet time because didn't hear too much noise at night. AC in room worked well but room smelled of old AC when you entered. Bathroom was clean. Bathtub a bit used with water rust stains. All in all for the price it was worth it. Would stay again for sure

Overall, a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Checkout was the same. The room was comfortable and very clean. The room air conditioner was the quietest I've ever heard for a hotel room. I literally could hardly tell it was running during the night. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of both hot and cold foods which was nice. Really, the value for the amount paid was excellent.

The quality was just ok on the breakfast hot food options. And there were a ton of flies in the breakfast room which is quite off-putting. Also, the hallways of the hotel were quite dirty and in desperate need of a vacuuming. One other thing I would suggest as a pet-friendly hotel is a garbage by the back exit from the stairwell as you can tell this is where everyone takes their dogs to do their business by pile of poop bags sitting by that door.

I booked this hotel as we were coming down for a dog sport competition and it was close to the highway for easy access to Southey. The reviews recently had me scared, buuuuut it was great! 1. The front desk girl named Marilla was the sweetest, she checked us in quickly, got some love from my two dogs, she was pleasant anytime I saw her! 2. The breakfast honestly was pretty good. Eggs, pancakes in a minute, sausage and you could take muffins or fruit with you (which I did 😁) for snacks. 3. The room they gave us was a business king pet friendly so we had a lot of space, a big bed and a couch the pups adored it! Sure it's an older hotel but everything in our room was clean so no complains. Lots of pillows is a bonus! 4. Location was decent, close to the highway to get where I needed to go, but there was quite a lot around the area in regards to food and stores. 5. They had security wandri around so felt safe, it was pretty quiet for the most part most people were quite understanding about not trying to be too crazy loud.

The only things I didn't like but it's manageable was the location of the pool, it's attached to the lobby so that's the first thing you smell, which I got used to so it wasn't horrendous just a poor location. And a few older teens that were not staying on our ground level floor were outside in the hall next to my room at 1030 at night banging and causing a lot of grief. It didn't take much I just went out and told them to move along.

We were greeted quickly and the guy was very nice. Room and hotel in general was very clean and well kept.

The pool was the only area I was not happy with. Can’t use the pool whenever you want even as paying guest cause of swimming lessons being offered. Pool had a terrible scum all the way around and the walls under water were slimy. I saw the guy spraying down the filters and they were filthy even after

Breakfast was ok. The eggs resembled mini frisbees. I get why the hotel serves them, though; they are easy for staff to deal with and make little mess. Sausages were salty and had a post-doggy look to them. Still, it was convenient to have access to a quick, hot breakfast. The women who ran the kitchen did a GREAT job and were very friendly. I also liked the big working space in my room. I had books, a computer, and documents with me. There was plenty of desk space for all that stuff. The big desk is an excellent room design feature. The maid was a sweet older woman, a new immigrant from Ukraine. I commend the hotel for hiring refugees!! My own mother came to Canada as a refugee, so I was moved to see Days Inn helping out these unfortunate people who have been through so much. The maid did a great job cleaning the room, by the way. We communicated easily using her i-phone translation feature. I like that this hotel chain caters to families. It's nice seeing children having fun going to the pool and their parents getting affordable rooms (not to mention one meal per day taken care of by somebody else). It reminds me of when my own kids were small and the great times we had at hotels with waterslides and breakfasts that included the Froot Loops banned at home by Mom! The Regina East Days Inn has a lot going for it.

I was pleased with the service and the facility. Nothing to get upset about at all. I suppose it would be nice to have feather pillows or maybe an option for a foam pillow that has the cooling gel feature. But I'm suggesting, not complaining! There were extra pillows, and I was pleased enough with that. I simply alternated pillows through the night, grabbing the coolest one! When I think about how other people suffer in this world (including my maid), fussing about pillows seems silly. But that's the only "negative" thing I can think of...

Pool was great for the kids. Breakfast was good.

Rodent traps in hall. We had to book separate for Friday. We had booked with a group for Saturday and Sunday. We asked if we had to change rooms and were told yes. We checked out. Dragged everything to the car by morning checkout. Checked back in in the afternoon only to find out we were checking into the same room. And we had to wait as they were still cleaning it! Would have been nice not to have to checkout and then back in.

Rooms were clean and very spacious - lots of room to put our bags & relax! Breakfast was great! There was a huge variety of breakfast choices - from cold to hot, and the staff was very quick to replace anything before it was out completely.

The elevators are really small, painfully slow, make a lot of banging noises and feel a bit unsafe. We preferred to take the stairs when it was an option (when not carrying luggage). The staff member at check in was not very friendly - it was like we were an inconvenience, even though we were quick. Towels were a bit worn out but clean. The breakfast room was definitely crowded and a little hard to navigate through with the amount of tables & size of chairs. The fireplace was also on and the room was very hot!
