Though my stay was brief, this hotel ticked all the right boxes for a layover rest. The location is unbeatable — just five minutes from the airport, which gave me peace of mind ahead of an early flight. There’s even a shuttle service, which I sadly missed by just 40 minutes. Impatient as I was, I hopped into a taxi that turned out to be an impromptu mini-adventure… and an unexpectedly expensive one. Lesson learned: good things come to those who wait. Check-in was quick and efficient — no lengthy explanations, no unnecessary fuss. I was in my room before I even had time to ask questions. While the staff could’ve smiled just a touch more, I did appreciate the smoothness and speed. Sometimes, that’s all you need. The room itself was a pleasant surprise — spacious, with two beds all to myself. It felt almost decadent, choosing which one to sleep on. The bathroom was large, clean, and stocked with slippers and a bathrobe, which instantly added a sense of comfort. A kettle, tea, Wi-Fi, and a mini bar (though unused, alas) — everything you’d want for a short stay. I spent only a couple of hours in the room, but it felt like a small oasis. Another thoughtful touch — plenty of lighting options and switches throughout the room. I imagine it would be perfect for two guests with different lighting preferences. Admittedly, a few switches remained a mystery to me, but isn’t that part of the charm? In the morning, I finally caught the shuttle (after almost boarding the wrong bus — nearly became part of a tour group by accident!). But all in all, this hotel delivered exactly what I needed: a place to rest, recharge, and continue my journey.

Downsides? Only the ones life throws at you. I narrowly missed the airport shuttle and paid the price for my impatience with an adventurous five-minute taxi ride. But that was on me — not the hotel. The check-in was lightning fast — so fast, in fact, that there was barely time for a smile. Still, I appreciated the efficiency. Some of the room’s light switches remain a mystery, but sometimes in travel, not everything has to be explained. In the end, nothing took away from the hotel doing exactly what it promised — and doing it well.

I needed a place near the airport for my late arrival and this did the job. The rooms are large and clean with good amenities. On site restaurant saved my night with a good (but very expensive) burger. Good shower and friendly staff as well as a stellar gym.

The air conditioning was a problem. They had been running a humidifier pumping warm air into the room upon my arrival and the central air system was super weak. I ended up changing rooms and still it was super muggy. Cost of the restaurant was quite high and no nearby amenities at all. I got no responses to my questions through the booking app.

Over the years I have traveled to 40 countries, some many times. I have been flying in and out of Shanghai even before Pudong airport was built. From the very convenient airport shuttle pickup to the booked car/driver departure the next day, everything was comfortable after a 2-week trip. The staff were all GREAT and very helpful. The breakfast was perfect, nice areas for sitting, great garden view. Room good for catching up on the laptop, well placed power connections, needed that hot shower! Several fellow travelers were well dug in at the very cozy bar with soft chairs and sitting areas to unwind. WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN when passing through PVG.

I received a welcoming services in Ramada, friendly and professional staff, clean room as well as tasty breakfast buffet with great variety. One more thing to highlight is that it is also pet friendly, the environment in the surrounding is quite with spacious grass ground, great to walk dogs. Extremely thankful for the great support received from hotel staff Shane and Amelia, who kindly considered our situation (late flight, with pet) and allowed us to checkout later in the afternoon. We received many kindness in Ramada and had a comfortable stay here.

Amazing place!! The rooms are very spacious, clean and well-accommodated. The staff is very polite and friendly, always ready to help. The hall is grand and fancy, looks wonderful and has a cafe with a great variety of foods. Overall, recommending this hotel for a stay if you need to sleep before your next flight!

Not a disadvantage, just a clarification: you can’t walk to the hotel from the airport. If you have a night flight (like I did), you may not be able to hop on the free shuttle bus, so keep that in mind when booking a hotel. The taxi that I had to call, was a bit overpriced, so make sure you don’t repeat my mistakes.

The hotel is located relatively close to the airport. It had a free shuttle bus going from T1 and T2 every 30 minutes, even during the night. The hotel and room had a nice interior and were spacious, with a modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Checking in and out was very quick. The staff were friendly and spoke English.

We had to spend maybe 30 minutes trying to find the shuttle bus. Luckily someone pointed us in the right direction. Also note that if you are in Shanghai city, the last metro train to the airport goes before midnight. If you miss it, you will be forced to take the comparably expensive taxi.

Hotel was pleasant and clean - by the time we actually arrived in the early hours we were only actually there for about 6 hours so did not get the chance to appreciate fully. Staff were very helpful and room was clean and bed comfortable.

Location - even though location states at the airport it is too far to walk and if the shuttle is not running at the time you need it then your only option is by taxi which we found out does not take credit cards after we were in the car moving - fortunately the hotel has an ATM in reception. If taking a local taxi be careful, we may have been unlucky with our driver but they certainly look out for tourists......

I stay here frequently as a transit hotel. It is very convenient and easy for this purpose. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Really good for kids if you have a long layover in PVG as they have a big play area for kids to play.

Just to be aware that if you do need to check in early they do charge an extra half day which is ok for the convenience of course but I think being an airport hotel it should be a little more flexible it does make the charge quite high when only using for a short stay but due to the hours you need end up paying quite a lot. Sometimes can be hard getting a taxi from the airport in the morning before the shuttle runs as it’s so close the taxi drivers don’t want to take the fare, and the hotel is a bit far of a walk.

The hotel staff were friendly , efficient and in particular the lady by the name "Milly Qin" was exceptional. Her smile , friendliness and efficiency was amazing. She also accommodated us in a late check out and ensured we had our room cards extended and new towels provided to all 9 rooms so we could have a shower before departing Shanghai on a long return flight She is an absolute asset to the hotel.

Bus intervals to airport and train station not often enough and hotel not very geared up with smaller car to transport on special request

My recent stay was made exceptionally pleasant thanks to the wonderful reception staff, Shane and Vicky. I arrived quite early, exhausted from a long flight and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure I could check in and get some much-needed rest before my next flight. I'm so grateful for their assistance and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those needing a moment of respite during travel.
