We loved the area that the hotel was in. There were restaurants, eateries and services near by that we were able to find food at even at 10pm when we arrived at the hotel. Rooms were very clean, spacious for three people and the beds were very comfortable. The shuttle bus was easy to find with instructions from the airport. Great stay for layover. Wished we could of stayed a little longer.

The shuttle bus did take a while to get to the hotel as it drops off guests from two other hotels also and this was the last stop. They only accept cash at the eateries and restaurants nearby (except for KFC down the road) and it was a VERY long walk to find an atm to get cash out. No one really speaks english in this area so make sure you download google translate.

I had an overnight layover in Shanghai and my stay with Joyful Yard was great. There is a timetable for the shuttle at the airport. The staff was great, my luggage got accidentally dropped off at another hotel (the shuttle goes to three different hotels) and they quickly contacted the other hotel and was not only able to quickly locate it for me but also drove me over to grab it. The hotel was clean and spacious. Located about 30 mins from the airport via the shuttle. There were many restaurants nearby. Great for an overnight layover. Also came with a free breakfast buffet that I wasn’t expecting, more typical Chinese breakfast which I didn’t mind. Did have your standard toast and cereal though.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff that can speak English. The hotel is located at a peaceful neighborhood where you will hear birds chirping in the morning, there are supermarket and eateries nearby within walking distance. Well organized shuttle buses to Shanghai Disneyland and Pudong Airport. For the Shanghai Disneyland shuttle bus, the reception will ask you to join their WeChat chat group for updates like pick up time and location, and the driver will make sure nobody is left behind in Shanghai Disneyland before departing by asking in the chat group, snacks like biscuits and white fungus dessert drink are provided in the bus while on the way back from Shanghai Disneyland to hotel. Do remember to register yourself with the hotel receptionist for both the shuttles to Shanghai Disneyland and Pudong Airport in case they didn't ask. Breakfast is basic and good with the mixture of western and Chinese food. We had our heavy breakfast and ready for the busy days ahead in Shanghai Disneyland and the 30 minutes walk from shuttle bus drop point to the park entrance :) Our family room is spacious with 2 comfortable queen size beds, sound proof quite good and I couldn't hear any sound or noises from outside except on the wee hours of first night there were somebody kept pressing on the door handle quite hard from the other room at the same floor. Room is clean and always smells good after housekeeper made up the room. Special thanks to housekeepers no. 001 & 012. Their laundry room is equipped with 2 units of heavy duty washer and 2 units of heavy duty dryers, and it's free to use. Will definitely stay in this hotel for our future visits to Shanghai Disneyland.

The laundry room closes at 10pm (if I'm not mistaken), wish it was open 24hrs so that we can use it after we came back from Shanghai Disneyland. The mini fridge not cold. The metro station is quite far from hotel, the nearest metro station is Lingkong Road Station, we took Didi cab from Lingkong Road Station back to hotel and it cost us about ¥12. If you planned to visit other parts of Shanghai like the bund and the city area, would suggest you check in to hotel located at the city center because the distance of this hotel to city center is about 45 minutes drive. Otherwise the location of this hotel is perfect for your visits to Shanghai Disneyland.

There are 24 hour eateries near the hotel which was very convenient as we arrived at 1.30am in the morning and was looking for supper. There affordable eateries near the hotel. The staff is very helpful to get us a DiDi (taxi) to take us to our next destination.

More information about the Shuttle Service would be useful for overseas tourist. E.g. The Shuttle Bus leaves Terminal 2 at regular interval of 45min. You can wait for the Shuttle Service at Gate 27. If you are coming out of the Arrival Hall after 11pm, please walk out from Gate 29 and walk to Gate 27.

Great instructions were provided for the shuttle service - all worked as it should with friendly drivers. Hotel is modern and clean. Lovely reception staff who had good English. Varied breakfast offerings with light bright dining space offering an outlook over the streets.

As just an overnight transit stop hadn’t bothered getting currency and although there were many food options within a quick walk of the hotel - could not find one that could take a credit card. Hotel did not offer other food options apart from the breakfast. This possibly reflected our lack of organisation more than anything else.

Very nice facilities and room. Super comfortable beds. Amazing showerhead. Very good cooked breakfast options. Very convenient to have the shuttle available to/from airport (15-20min ride). Nice and helpful staff :)

It is a distance from the city centre (we knew), but if you're in transit, it works just fine! Bus/taxi ride to Lingkong St road (line 2, same as the airport) and that takes you to the city centre.

The hotel is close to the airport and well organized with a bus shuttle to the airport. Consider that the shuttle has a pick up in 2/3 other hotels. The staff is friendly and English speaking. Breakfast starts at 5,30 am, so you can get it even if you leave at 6 am. Room was huge.

Surprisingly good! Value for money. Clean, good service, near the airport, but quiet. Great place for catching the flight. They offer airport transfer shuttle once per hour. We did not use when we got there but on the way to the airport it was super. The driver was really nice. Did not use the breakfast, but it appeared ok. There seemed to be lots of services around the corner too but we did not have time to explore. They got slippers, robes, and free baby cot too.

There was only one small mirror in the bathroom. I would appreciate if there is a full mirror outside. No fridge.
