Great service, very comfortable beds, super good breakfast. Amazing view from the swimming pool on rooftop, whhix also was great to finish the day after exploring the city. The staff was amazing, specially "el señor Daniel" as the kids call him still today. They have very fair rates also for taxis and are very well organised with an agency which offer some tours and in our case it woeksreally well especially with taxi drivers Diego and Henry. We had great time there. Thank you for having us!

Unfortunately there no other window in the room that the panoramic big one and once we took the shower we could feel the humidity in the room instantly, which wasn't great.

Most importantly was the location of Cite Hotel It was our first time in Bogota, and we found out from two guides that picked us up from our hotel told us that we were staying in the best area of the city. Central to most everything. We walked to a couple of great restaurants nearby in the evening and all around during the day and never once did we have any issues. Now safety aside, what a cool hotel with such a great staff, so accommodating & super friendly. Breakfast in the morning was perfect with an egg dish made to order and lots of fresh fruit and pastries plus hot dishes to choose from. The room was extremely clean, with a very comfortable bed. Room with a cool view! And now, so important to us was a very hot shower in a beautifully tiled and appointed bathroom. And then above everything it was a quiet part of town, so there was no partying in bars nearby. While it was easy to go to restaurants & bars walking wise, we were far enough away to not let the noise disturb our sleep. This is now our go to place in Bogota and we will be recommended to all of our friends & family

We had a lovely few days in the Cité Hotel. Friendly helpful staff, great breakfast and food options and lovely room facilities. The roof top pool was amazing. We did Monserrate funicular in the morning and La Candelaria 3 hr walking tour in the afternoon- thoroughly enjoyed both. We also visited the free entry Botero Musem which was fabulous. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was lovely and, on our second night we found a lovely Italian Resataurant - Romeo Osteria, that was very easy to get to from the hotel. We had a last minute flight home cancellation by our airline and the reception staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful as we worked out the best alternative options - this was very much appreciated.

The hotel is in a good location but quite far out from the City Centre - Taxis/Ubers are very straightforward to get, but traffic at the busiest times in Bogota meant that we had a couple of journeys which took an hour to get back to the hotel. If we’d been more aware of this we would have tried to schedule activities/journeys for different times.

The friendliness, the warm swimming pool and the location close to virrey for excersizing.

In all of my stays, thia was the first time when i asked about spa/ massage/gym possibilities, that i knew about the alternatives. It would have made my stay even better if it was shown somewhere in my room, to know that would be available upon request. That one of the days i went for swimming , there was a pool maintenance- it is a good thing, but I'd recommend to do the maintenance before the opening time or at a time that for example business people would have gone to their meetings( 9am + ?).

The upscale neighbourhood setting of this hotel is wonderful. Outside the front door is a very long, wide brick walking path through carefully tended gardens for several blocks leading to all kinds of shops and restaurants. The park below our room was an active place with joggers, musicians practicing their instruments beautifully, dog walkers. Just generally a lovely place to spend time. Uber and taxis were quickly available for our treks into Centro to see the things we missed when we first arrived. Walking into our room (808) was a delight. Large, spacious, beautifully designed modern decor with table & chairs, sofa, and a large picture window (that opens for fresh air and creates a silent room when closed!!). A/C works but wasn't needed. King bed with great linens, tiered night tables so lots of room for recharging devices, lots of luggage storage and a really great bathroom. It was a delight to spend time in our room! The BEST breakfasts we had in Colombia. In fact, the restaurant was so pleasant that we ate at the hotel for lunch and dinner which we very rarely do but the food was very good & but we were winding down our trip getting ready for the long flights home. The rooftop pool looks beautiful in the hotel photos but what the photos don't tell you is that the pool is heated which is wonderful in this cooler air mountain city, and both times we went to use the pool there was no one there but us. Very luxurious. To crown this off: we were generously given a late checkout to make our airport departure easier.

This hotel is perfectly run; there literally was nothing we didn't like.

The staff : The best we experienced in the whole world. Always there to be at our service, without intruding our experience. The staff showed passion, pleasure for the work. The front desk did an excellent job in making this visit beyond expectations and then some more. The restaurant staff was incredible with service and suggestions. The food was very good. The breakfast : wafles are made in front of you... no words can describe the taste of a fresh baked wafle with maple sirup or honey in the morning with a cup of hot chocolate. The location : Everything is very close by, within 20 minute walk you find everything, ample choice of restaurants, shops, parks, clubs. the surrounding area feels secure for walking/ riding a bike at any time. The hotel : Wifi coverage in the whole hotel with good speeds, security measures in place without limiting ones freedom to move around. Everthing is clean. At some parts you see marks of normal use and wear, but never beyond limits.

Everything was beyond expectations, a suggestion for improvement however : If the biclycles (free to use) could be fitted with rain guards on the wheels, and a child seat.

What a lovely hotel! The location is great - it is close to a large park and many restaurants, bars and cafés. The breakfast was amazing - great sortiment. The room was nice and clean. The pool at the roof top was fantastic and warm.

The room was a bit noisy in the night due to the busy night life right outside our window.

room was nice and comfortable. the room service was efficient and timely. the location next to park el virrey is amazing if you like to walk/ excersize . In my last visit i discovered there was a pool , so next time I will prepare for that. The breakfast is well- balanced. the gentleman at the egg- ommelete station and his co workers are amazing!

having a great experience during the stay, at checkout i requested separate bills for my accommodation and my room service. these were provided, but then, passed onto my credit card before asking how i was going to pay. In my case i wanted to pay my room service etc. cash. So at that specific moment the technology didnt want to cooperate , the taxi was waiting, so things didnt go as smooth as i wished, just at the end. Upon return the story wasnt finished, but n mutual agreement and cooperation it was solved.

As usual, Cite results a fantastic venue. The quality and professionalism of the staff continues to be its strongest point. Outstanding service and attention in front desk, restaurant and floors

We arrived on a holiday and the front desk clerk was doubling as door person and taking luggage to the rooms, thus leaving the desk unattended for periods of time. This is not acceptable in a hotel of this category. I will complain again about the cozy lobby bar being replaced by a noisy and out of place Starbucks

As usual with Cite everything is above standard specially the staff. the quality of client service in all venues: front desk, dining room, floors is very high. friendliness, professionalism and courtesy are the norm for all members of the staff

The replacement of the cozy bar with a Starbucks was in my opinion a very bad decision client wise, surely is profitable but it eliminated one of the most pleasant venues of the hotel, now is a hotel with no bar and a noisy coffee shop
