From the moment you enter the hotel the staff welcomes you and works hard to meet your requests. The concierge provided the best recommendations when it came to dinning and shopping, as well as, tourist spots to visit. We contracted a driver and limo through the hotel for our five day stay, and it was the best decision we made. Rafael, our driver, showed us the city and took us to the Salt Cathedral, about an hour north of Bogota, a must see attraction. The breakfast buffet is impressive, with lots of hot and cold choices.

The room temperature at night got a little hot, but nothing unbearable.

the hotel is in a really good and safe area with many restaurants and shops. The room is quite spacious and comfortable, comfortable bed. Breakfast is good, each morning a different selection of local fruits and cold snacks. it was possible to leave the luggage in storage until the evening after check-out

What we didn't like - since you had to order hot food for breakfast you had to wait quite a long time for the order to be accepted and the hot dish (omelette, etc.) to be brought. You also had to wait for coffee or hot water tea. the breakfast manager was quite an arrogant woman

during a temporary shutdown of the restaurant, another room was used to accomodate clients. This room was very small and not suitable as a restaurant. The food I ordered came cold and not of the usual quality of Sofitel. The restaurant has since resumed operations in its original premises and i am pretty sure service is back to usual, ie excellent.

This is a well maintained and managed hotel at one of the prime locations in Bogota. Beautiful rooms and excellent service. Location is outstanding, as the neighbourhood is safe and full of vintage shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast.

At the time of visit, the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment and another limited area was used for guests. This area was not adequate. Quality of the restaurant was average, with some of the dishes served cold. There is definitely room for improvement. Service however was excellent.

The staff were amazing Nothing was any trouble to them They had a good knowledge of the local area and recommended some amazing places to visit. Spa was the best really enjoyed our massage. The concierge was the standout arranging everything with no problem and made it very easy as his English was very good.

The feel of the hotel was very luxurious. The staff were attentive. Great location. I ordered room service and the food came quickly and was delicious. I also appreciated the l'Occitane products and coffee in the room.

I asked several times about breakfast as it was included in what I paid for the room and I needed to check out early before breakfast was served. I inquired again as I was checking out and was told it was not ready as I did not specify what I wanted. For a high-end hotel, someone should have asked me instead of me having to ask repeatedly. Because I needed to leave and there wasn't enough time, I ended up getting a stale croissant and some fruit. This was a disappointment.

Great service and customer care from all the staff. We have stayed at this location several times and is always kept in top condition, everything looks like new.

The rooms that face the street are affected by the noise from the nightclubs, please try to do some soundproofing. The down comforters are a bit too much for air conditioning, so one has to put it on and off to keep at a comfortable temperature. It might be more functional to use several thinner blankets. Arranged transportation is very good, but a bit on the expensive side.

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I arrived a little bit early and my room was already ready, the room is beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable with perfect sheets. Every single person from the staff was very warm and always willing to help. I love that Sofitel prepares your room at night and with some delicate details to make you comfortable. The best stay I could possibly have. Breakfast is the best in town.

The location of this hotel is superb. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops, park. There is a supermarket close by as well. The staff was extremely helpful and service impeccable They set up tours for us which were wonderful. The room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Large bath area, robes and slippers included too. Evening turn down service came with tea and a biscuit. Very cozy and very clean. Breakfast (included in our rate) was wonderful a Buffet but you could also get eggs cooked to order.

The street was a bit noisy. We were on the front of the building overlooking the street. When the trash was collected from nearby restaurants, it woke us up. If you want silence, ask for a room at the back.

The location is great, beds are extremely comfortable, towels are large, staff is kind, helpful and friendly.

We had an early check out and wanted to have breakfast, although we were assured that we could get our eggs since we were the first there, after 20 minutes the eggs hadn’t arrived so we left without. Altjough we didn’t have to pay since we are tourists there was news about Taxes for non tourist stays. Theze should be mentioned in the booking not notified upon arrival. Response time in booking.com is quite slow.
