Staff members were all super friendly; at the reception, the breakfast lady, cleaning lady. Most did not speak English, but we managed with google translate and some basic spanish from my side and basic english from theirs. Location was good! During my trips to Bogota, I usually stay in Chapinero, but within that area, I think Quinta Camacho is my new favorite neighborhood. I loved that this hotel is located on a quiet street but still very close to busier areas. Many good restaurants around and easy and safe to walk around.

It was a bit noisy, bring your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. For work trips, I always check that there's a desk and coffee machine available in the room. And indeed there was a coffee machine, but there were no coffee pods to put into the machine... I asked on the first day, but they said they didn't have any available and for the rest of my stay, there were none provided. The room was ok, spacious, but for US/European standards I would not rate this as 4* hotel; more a 2 or 3* or good-quality guest house. But that is ok considering the price - still good value for money.

Charming little hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The staff was excellent, and very helpful. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast was basic but very good (my favorite was the fresh squeezed orange juice). Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

As others have noted, soundproofing can be an issue. When I was there, only one night was there loud guests after 10pm. Not a deal breaker, but noted.

The hotel was very cute, nicely decorated and run by wonderful staff who were very gracious, kind, understanding, and patient. The breakfast served each day was delicious, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice. The WiFi was fast. The beds were comfy. And they let me leave my luggage after I checked out since my flight wasn't until that night.

The water in the shower sometimes wouldn't get hot, or just took a long time.

The people working there are incredibly nice, willing to help you. They can arrange a taxi if needed to get from the airport. The location was great, the breakfast was pretty basic, coffee, a little fruit and eggs, some variety would have been great. We ate breakfast late and often they were out of things but I guess that was our fault. The accommodations are pretty basic but within expectations for the price point.

cute little room with a desk, comfy bed, closet, tv and full bathroom. The room has a window that goes to the indoor hall so we used to close it most of the time for privacy and cause it was cold but make sure you open it every now and then to have flow of air and get out any smell/moist from the toilet. Everything was perfect, breakfast was eggs, mini pancakes and arepas. As much fruit as you wanted, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice. Staff and kitchen lady were lovely!

Excellent location and comfort!

Night receptionist threatened with calling for my deportation because I didn't present my "cedula" first. I have dual citizenship from US and Colombia, but I live in the US. Because of this, I should be able to avoid paying for Colombian taxes by just showing my US passport. Supposedly they need now an entry permit to Colombia (even if you're a Colombian citizen). This was outrageous behavior on behalf of the hotel's front desk. It's fine if those are your legal requirements, but don't be openly threatening guests like that. This is completely unacceptable! I can't imagine receptionists doing this to every person that has a dual citizenship just like me. Ridiculous!

They had great WiFi and access to streaming sites. The chef in the morning was very attentive and everything was clean. The area itself had lots of restaurants, bars, and bakeries to try.

The pillows were hard and the laundry service was very expensive. Also, travelers should be aware it is a little removed from the main tourist sites and requires a ride into the main squares.

Staff is very nice and helpful. When we asked for a bigger room (with bigger bed) after the first night we were able to move to a much nicer room which just became available against a small increase. Definitely worth it. Breakfast was good (fruit, eggs, juice, some toast and pencakes). The location is good, some very nice restaurants and bars are very close but for everything else you need a taxi which is no problem and standard in Bogota anyway. The area felt very save. We enjoyed our stay very much.

During check-in we were told breakfast is until 10am but it clearly ended at 9:30. We still were served food but it was a little more challenging. And during check-out they told us some things were missing from the minibar (that we did not take). In the end it wasn't an issue but it was still an uncomfortable situation for us since the manager (who spoke English) didn't talk to us directly but apparently asked the young man at the reception to discuss this issue with us. Unfortunately he didn't speak much English, so this discussion took way too long while our taxi was waiting. The manager could have solved this much easier. And if you book a small room with a small bed you GET a small bed (1,20m in our case). Luckily we could change to a bigger room which was really nice.

the staff was very helpful. for example- i came in the middle of the night and didn't have a room booked till the next morning but one of the night staff made me coffee and gave me a quilt and a pillow for me to use and sleep on their couch at the reception. the rooms are good too and so is the breakfast. it is a very nice hotel and value for money.

The Venezuelan guy who works there is spectacular and made the stay amazing. Kudos to him

For me quiet at night is very important. The room was super quiet, but there is a hostel in front of them. One night the hostel people were late outside being loud and I couldn’t sleep. I went down to ask for support from the front desk person and she was totally indifferent. I went to the hostel myself to ask them to be quiet but they didn’t care. I would suggest an intervention from the hotel if the hostel people are being loud last midnight, as this interferes with the quality of the stay of their guests. Also, breakfast ends at 9.30am. Too early for some people who want to sleep in while on holidays
