The staff is very friendly ! The breakfast is really good and the bedrooms are very comfy. It is a good and safe place to go with kids.

They have few stuff from the mini bar and then they have a shaving kit and a cleaning kit, they should have a sticker or something that says that is has a cost. It is not clear, so I took it, then when I was checking out, they inform me that I took them, and it was quite embarrassing as I say, yes but I thought this items were included on our stay. I took them out of my suitcase

This hotel is a few blocks away from Parque de la 93 which makes it a great location for a stay in Bogota. Our room was big with bed, bathroom and furniture spotless clean. We loved the breakfast buffet, it was delicious and they offer some typical Colombian food options as well as more continental and European choices. The staff is helpful willing to give you any tip about restaurants, tours or places to visit.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel. Every time I visit Bogota I booked in El Dorado. Is located in a centric but quiet area at the same time, close to Parque de la 93. The room was clean and organized. Thank you to Claudia the helper. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The food in both restaurants was excellent. We enjoyed the "Ceviche de chicharrón, ajiaco, club sandwich", at the Origin Restaurant everything was good. Also, the food at the Mai Tai Restaurant was delicious. The reception staff, the room cleaning staff, the waiters, and the waitresses are all very friendly and try to please you in everything.

The beds were of the highest quality and very comfortable. The air conditioning was very good in the room. The room was Spacious and well appointed. The shower was very powerful. The breakfast was varied daily and tasty. The service from The staff was responsive and polite. The gym was great and usually empty. The hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants.

I would have appreciated a kettle in the room to boil water to make tea but as coffee is the main drink in Colombia, kettles are not common I expect

We had the twin room (601) which was spacious and well laid out - just as photos indicate. We appreciated the ample closet space, extra seating, the bar counter, and lots of counter space in the bathroom. We were always able to get ice for our room from the bar. The food selection at breakfast was better than most of the equivalent hotels we stayed in on our trip. The location was excellent as we could walk to a wide variety of restaurants for dinner. David and Jeff at the front desk and Yosman in the dining room plus the driver who picked us up from the airport (Leonardo Garcia) stand out for their good service and kindness.

A possible negative for some people might be the distance from the Museums/art galleries/cable car but Uber is ever present, reliable, inexpensive. We enjoyed the drives to our destinations as we saw most of the city as drivers chose their preferred routes. The compensation for the travel is that the hotels in La Candelaria are in noisy congested areas and the El Dorado was silent at night.

Super nice hotel in a very safe and pretty neighbourhood. The staff was overly friendly and helpful, we've also had no problem at all to extend the stay due to sickness. The breakfast had a great variety - from continental needs to Colombian breakfast and many fruits. The beds are a dream, super comfy and very calm rooms with no disturbances (even the fridge didn't make a sound!). There's also a driver, a pick up from the airport was 78k which was a good price.

I stayed at the Eldorado Hotel in Bogotá and was pleased with the cleanliness and neatness of the rooms. The location is also quite good, making it convenient for getting around the city.

However, there were a couple of things that surprised me. Firstly, drinking water was not complimentary, which was a bit inconvenient. Secondly, the restaurant had many items missing from the menu, so the selection was limited. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but it would be nice if these issues were addressed to improve the service.

The hotel exudes a premium ambiance throughout, with compact yet comfortable and well-designed rooms equipped with all the essentials. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the hotel's proximity to numerous excellent bars and restaurants adds to its appeal. While the breakfast was good, there is room for improvement, though it still stands out as above average for a typical hotel breakfast.

Surrounding area had a few constructions, while there wasn't any noise, it didn't feel so comfortable to walk close to the hotel at night.

Most of the staff (doorman, housekeeping, waiters) are very helpful and courteous. Location near phone company, banks, security restaurants, transportation. Room provides commodities expected of hotels like Hilton or Windham. But not above. Nice decorations.

The front female desk clek with red hair is less than welcoming ;if reservation is by booking. As if you don't belong here. If you stay an additional day, you are charged more than the posted rack rate.

For many years my favorite hotel in Bogotá. This time was everything absolutely perfect. I have to especially highlight the taste of the food in the Mai-Tai restaurant and the pleasant service. Here I see a significant improvement compared to previous years. It is a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

Too dry scrambled eggs for breakfast, but that's a minor detail.
