Balcony and view , remote control blackout curtains. Elevators are efficient fast and smooth. Security at the front door. Helpful, friendly staff.

Housekeeping:- Inadequate amount of towels they left enough for a single person. So as a couple we had to consistently ask for more towels every other day for 13 day stay. We also had to ask for our floor to be moped at least 4 times during our stay. Only one of our 13 days did the room look professionally cleaned. If you are a light sleeper make sure you do not have a room at the front of the building. It is a party street which doesn't stop blaring music until about 4am. Breakfast was bland.

We were 3 in a room..a child with us..like 4 times had 2 go ask for towel cuzz is only 2 they put and every body can come in & out in d lobby ..sometimes kinda noisy.. When we booked they offer a taxi 2 come pick up us by d airport...it never reach...last minute they cancel on us And more varierty for breakfast..we got 3 times in a row same fruit...meanwhile Colombia rich in fruit & veggies.. Even put a lil bit more on the dish..varierty in juice 2..😑

Location (well situated, near metro station and sirrounded bumy restaurants and grocery store)

No coffee/ thee machine and no iron in room. Restaurant closes at 9pm and at 8.30 they stop taking orders. Breakfast: every day same scrambled eggs, arepa, 1 bun and fruits (watermelon/ pineapple or papaya)...no variation.

I spent spent six nights at Hotel Dorado La 70 and can’t recommend it enough. Great location in the Laureles-Estadio district which is west of the busy city centre so much quieter - and less expensive than trendy Poblado - and only a four minute walk to the Estadio metro station. The hotel is located on Calle 70 and is surrounded by well priced bars and restaurants so can be a little noisy at night, particularly if there’s a soccer game at the nearby Atanasio Girardot Stadium, but having a few drinks and mingling with the mass of excited and boisterous Atletico fans drinking, singing and dancing in the street before they headed off to watch the match on a Saturday night was one of the highlights of my holiday. I had a room with a balcony on the 11th floor which had stunning views over the west of the city and the Andes. The views from the roof bar on the 12th floor were just as good, and it’s a great place to relax and watch the sunset over the mountains after a long day of tourism. The bed was big and comfortable, there was a well-stocked mini bar, flat screen TV, a desk with power points, and the bathroom was modern, clean and well appointed. Breakfast in the lobby restaurant was included in my room rate. Some of the staff speak English but even the ones that didn’t we’re extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Gustavo at the front desk who was amazing. I was trying to book my outward flight with Avianca but their website kept crashing. Gustavo sat with me at one of the hotel’s computers and basically booked a flight with another airline for me, which as their website was only in Spanish I would have struggled to do myself. On top of that, it was at a more convenient time than the Avianca flight I was planning to take and significantly cheaper. Great service, great hotel.

Breakfast was not great, but otherwise perfect.

Property is safe, clean and the staff is great. It’s located in the middle of all the activity, so the noise is notable coming from the outside but I slept well. Breakfast was good and the rooftop bar is nice. Remember this la 70 where lots of partying goes on and girls are all around but it’s still a great place to stay and taxis and Uber are right outside the hotel. Great stay!

Location Friendly staff Clean

I reuest cancelation of the room due to a suiicide event that happened at the hotel 45 minutes prior to my arrival and they refused. The prior time I Stayed I got a better room (with balcony) for lesser price. I mentioned it to the clerk but I didn't get a positive response. I may not stay at the hotel again.

The staff, cleanliness and the comfort

Although the quality of the food was good, the restaurant it's very poor in its location as well as in it's menu. Breakfast serves only till 9 am and the restaurant and room service only opens till 8 pm. They must improve the location and the service of the restaurant

This is my fourth vacation in Medellin, and I always choose this place. The location and the balcony rooms are what i like best. The gym is a plus, as well. There's a beautiful young woman that worked the front desk at night (didn't get her name), and she was wonderful. Gustavo was cool, and Jose was the best. All three spoke English. They were GREAT... and that's surprising because the front desk there is usually unhappy, unfriendly people.

They have a Turkish bath (aka steam room). They won't allow the courtesy of turning it on late at night, but worse, it was broken for a few days.

Spacious balcony room, good sized walk in shower, terrific views, room well equipped with storage space for clothes, conveniently located power points, light & fan controls.

The noise! OMG! The street noise from the disco bars across the road was horrific. Went on until 3am every morning which was followed by the associated noise of customers dispersing in to the night. The breakfast room, school dinner style, big communal tables.

more thing need to be included, simple things like. a micro wave or the laundry. the bar dont give u receipt. The American breakfast the eggs where full dry nos tasty. but all the wokers did an extra efford with us. the eorkers are so kind i like them.
