Modern hotel decorated in the IKEA style. I had a large room with an enormous double bed that was extremely comfortable. Located close to the football stadium and the metro, which is safe, clean and efficient.

The safe in my room was broken so they gave me a key to unlock it instead - hardly an appropriate alternative. The hotel is next to a streetfamed for 'marcha' i.e. nightlife and the noise that goes with that. . I had an external room and the noise kept me awake each nite. There are internal rooms, but I suppose gringos making reservations through booking are not going to be priority when assigning the better rooms.

When I arrived I came with my girlfriend and we both registered. When I returned that evening I had left my room key inside the attendant at the front desk insisted I pay 35,000 COP because supposedly my girlfriend was not on my reservations although it came in together. She started arguing and behaving like a low life. No class whatsoever and threatened me by not allowing me back in my room unless I paid an additional $35,000 COP. She would be better off as a maid and not to interact with customers

it was good for the price. Every day you get some changes to the breakfast menu. The overall staff was also good. Furthermore it's really great to be able to have breakfast at your own comfort in your hotel.

The restaurant closes early if i am correct at 8 ish. So if you are planning on getting dinner in the hotel you have to take the closing time into consideration.

Hotel Vire is a place I stay at every time I got to Medellin. I know the staff and the commitment to customer service. I needed to have my clothes washed the day of checkout within 2 hours. A employee there walked with me to the near by Laundry mat in her nice shoes... This is to me exemplifies their commitment to customer service.

Some guest(s) drunk at 4 in the morning trying to get into a room across from mine. Two guys trying to get into this woman's room. Knocking hard on the door and yelling. Woke me up, but I call the front desk and within 5-8 mins someone came and got the two unruly individuals to leave.

Small, kind of homey, great staff.

*Noise of music @ bars/disco’s each and every night, 7 days a week starting around 17:30 till 03:30 in the morning. Room didn’t have smart tv!

It is important to mention to other guest that the hotel is located near a really busy street that have allot of night live and that is can be very loud till in the morning.

Spotlessly clean throughout the property! Really nice bed linen, supportive and comfortable mattress. Strong, consistent WiFi. The location in Laureles is excellent, a safe 5 min walk from the Metro. Although just off the busy main boulevard.of The 70s, the room's soundproofing is very effective. Beautiful view from my window on the 6th flr of the building's street side! The breakfast is substantial, varied and tasty; dining room with plenty of outlets and nice open air terrace. There is an Exito supermercado across the street to stock your mini-fridge and a wash fold lavandería in 3 min walk. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will definitely return!!

Really can't think of anything, except the 'desk' was an L-shaped shelf attached to the wall over the mini-fridge. It was too narrow for an effective work space. I did most of my work in the dining room using headphones.

Hotel offered free breakfast. Breakfast doesn't very much, always scrambled eggs, so after a week it was a little repetitive, but still we were happy with it. Coffee was great, as were the breakfast staff.

Biggest problem was the noise level from outside. We originally had a room on the 8th floor, but the noise from the bars below kept us up most of the night, until 4 am when it seemed to fizzle out, so after the second day we requested an inside room. While these rooms have no external windows, still the noise could be heard, though not so loud that we couldn't sleep.

The food, cleanliness and friendliness of all the employees.

The television channels were not working, I reported it twice and they never fixed the problem.
