I stayed here from June 17-July 1, 2025. I love this hotel. It is a simple no frills place but better in many respects to other hotels in the same category, and I have stayed in many. It is right in front of San Joaquin church. The price I got on Booking was great (approx. $22 per night), though the price can vary wildly like all other places in Medellin depending on the season or whether there is a major event going on in the city. The staff was fantastic (Eliana, Duzbely, y Jon). The water pressure and hot water was perfect and consistent. The WIFI was also great. For me, the location is amazing. Busy nightlife street (La 70) is less than a block away, but since hotel is on a side street, the noise level was minimal. There is a clean, small supermarket "La Vaquita" around the corner and several affordable mom & pop restaurants and shops within 2-3 blocks (in the church area). San Juan Street is only 3 blocks away which is one of the main streets leading into "El Centro" which was convenient for a quick Uber ride. There is also a U.S. sports bar "Medellin Sports Bar" only 2 blocks away (crossing "La 70"). There is a Metro stop (El Estadio) about a 15 min walk away (straight down "La 70") with a huge stadium sports complex open to the public which was great for my morning runs. There is also a major mall "Unicentro" about a 15 min walk down the "La 70" in the opposite direction. I had a small folding bicycle which they allowed me to store on first floor. I was sad to leave.

There is no elevator, but this was not a problem for me as I was on the 2nd floor.

The property was close to many cafes, restaurants and bars (nightlife). It was walking distance to most things or a quick taxi ride to some of the main attractions.

The property itself is great and affordable. However due its proximity to bars and restaurants there is a lot of noise through the night. Our main complaint about our stay is that the curtains in the room didn’t block out the light from the street and streetlights. Otherwise we had a decent stay. Thank you

As described, and fully met my expectations. Great staff - friendly, helpful, easy check-in. Rooms are not very big but are completely acceptable. Bathroom a bit cramped, but again, completely acceptable. Everything was tidy, clean, and ready to go. Shampoo and soap provided. Towels were nice and soft. Shower had great water pressure & hot water. Beds were comfortable and pillows were too. The only thing I was a bit surprised by was that no rooms have windows. The "window" may have been facing something unattractive or a very bright flourescent light to imitate daylight, so they put a very large semi-translucent decal over the glass -- mine was NYC theme , which I found odd. It let a lot of light in, and there is an option to draw the blinds, which were effective and I was able to take a nap in the middle of the day. Good value for this hotel and in a perfect location in Laureles, close to the avenida, and other attractions, like Green Bike Tour company office.

Staff was super helpful, location was great, very close to the main street with bars and restaurants, the room was very clean and comfortable. A big plus was that we could check in early and on the check-out day we could leave our bags in the hotel storage for few hours before our departure. Free drinking water and coffee were also a great positive addition to our stay in this hotel. Definitely good value for money.

Some of the rooms didn't have windows, but we were allowed to choose one ourselves and we chose one with a small window.

This hotel has all you need for a nice stay in Medellin. It is as far as 40 meters from a busy avenue full of restaurants, all kind of shops (drugstores, souvenirs, street vendors), cafeterias, discotheques; two blocs from a big supermarket chain (Exito); 8 blocs from the Estadio Metro Station. The hotel staff (Juan Restrepo, Julio Cesar and Monica) were superb in every aspect of the business. Breakfast, even though did not change much, was enough and satisfied my needs. They offered free cold water and hot coffee all day long. Clean and good size room in the second floor (1st floor is street level) with a nice TV, a love seat, a small fridge, a desk and chair, a safe and clean bathroom. I was more than satisfied with the hotel and I am planning to return to Medellin (and the hotel) since I loved the city, its views and its cleanliness, the people and, contrary to what many say, its safety.

Prime Location!, delicious breakfast, very friendly, lovely frontdesk agents all three, spacious bedroom, very quiet neighborhood, although the busy la 70 is right there. You can withdraw cash at bancolombia right on the corner, exito supermarket is very close, mondongo's restaurant also very close. The famous la 70 is right there walking distance, lots of hotels restaurants. I will definitely stay here again in a couple of months

My bed was a little hard to sleep on, maybe it is orthopedic, but not really an issue

Nice local hotel with easy access to Laureles and the Metro. Staff are excellent and so accommodating. Breakfast nice if somewhat repetitive. Free water and coffee is a nice touch

The rooms are dated and probably could do with a deep clean. They are not dirty but grubby in places including the bathroom

The location is near restaurants and metro which is so convenient. But most. of all we appreciated the friendly & helpful staff (Monica & Juan).

Sometimes at night it’s loud because of the location near street 70. However, the back rooms are best if sensitive to the night music.

This is a great place with an excellent breakfast. The staff was lovely as well.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay; however, you might hear some noise from outside.
