Great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The noise outside and the church bell didn't bother us, it's part of the neighborhood. We already booked our next stay with Origen Local Suites.

Awesome room with view, there is a mini mini balkony very nice. Great location with walking distance of almost everything you need. Even if you are a spiritual person, there is a Catholic church very close .Staff was ready to help anytime with anything the vending machine at the lobby for a quick snack or something to drink, washing machine and dryer available ( you need to pay ) the attention for room service, i can say 98% good will be back soon hope i get the same room. Note!! If you are not an early morning person, be aware that there's a church nearby, and sometimes the bell could wake you up, which wasn't a problem for me. To many good things to mention

The shower water you need to play with the handles alot to get a warm water with periodic very gold drips, there's only super hot or super cold, bar chairs was not comfortable was constantly sliding or not great for sitting and enjoy a meal, and the working chair was uncomfortable, small things that can be changed though but again i will be back

Newer building, super clean, convenient location for transport (short and pleasant walk to metro station, or plenty of Uber drivers in vicinity for a quick pickup), large grocery store across the street, music and nightlife a few blocks away. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Asked and was promptly provided for extra kitchenware like a frying pan for eggs. Pretty functional kitchen with a gas stove and fridge. Nice garden balcony with a decent view, street scene below and the mountains far off.

There was no hot water on the first day, but it was fixed, and hot shower was available for the next and remainder days. Asked for a toaster, but alas not available.

We liked the location, quiet for a city yet close to a lot of restaurants, bars and public transportation. There is a nice grocery store and breakfast places within steps when you need coffee in the morning. We found the coffee across the street to be the best and the family working there were sweet as honey. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and fresh looking. (Though, the cleaning ladies need to clean the balconies so you don't walk dirt into the room from the balcony.) Bed and pillows are fantastic. When we go to Medellin this is where we will stay. I saw negative reviews for this hotel on Tripadvisor about noise and no utensils for the kitchen. As for noise it was not innordinate for a city. Maybe we were lucky having quiet guests on our floor, but we would not hesitate to ask noisy guests to be respectful. As for appliances etc. for the kitchen. When we checked in we were presented an extensive list of items we could request. We filled out the form and had an iron and board, cutting board and knife and a corkscrew and wine glasses delivered within minutes. I would like to thank the staff for their exceptional service.

They do not clean the balconies. There is a vent to the hallway which allows noise from the hall to enter the room. Unless there is some building code preventing it, those should be able to be closed. It would also save on energy bills. Luckily there were mostly quiet people on our floor so it was a very small issue. Sharpen the knives for the kitchen. The drywall could use some repair and the walls need to be cleaned in a few areas. The painters were sloppy getting paint on things that should not be painted. ( bathroom fixtures and headboard for example ) But all in all we really like the hotel.

Great location for me, not on La 70 but close enough to walk to it. Many fine little restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Executive and King Suites are nice and roomy, can cook in the room if desired, refrigerator perfect size (not small), bathrooms with good sink space, showers roomy. Washer/Dryer available. Loved it all.

The Catholic church bells ringing 5 times per day M-Sat and 7 times on Sundays. Very loud and obnoxious, and I am Catholic.

Clean. Good AC. Convenient location. Fast elevator.

It is ridiculous for the hotel to not allow adult guests into the rooms when they have proper IDENTIFICATION . These people were a married professional couple with identification. Stupid rule. I am a doctor and the husband wanted me to do a quick exam on him to see if he needed to be hospitalized. The front desk refused. Absolutely ridiculous rule. And I have stayed at this hotel several times.

A nice, comfortable room, a cozy bed, polite and helpful staff. There’s a café downstairs where you can have breakfast, and shops nearby.

A comfortable room but without any amenities; you can request everything at the reception. Unfortunately, it's a bit noisy due to the church across the street – loud bells ring several times a day. The location is near an entertainment street, but it's quiet and peaceful at night.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed and easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Absolutely loved staying here. The beds were sooooooo comfy! The staff spoke English and were always super helpful and kind. The rooms we are good size for two people with big backpacks. There is a cafe joint to the hotel that’s open to 8pm which is very handy and only a few minutes walk to the Main Street with heaaaaps of food and bars, without any of the noise. You do hear the church clock but we didn’t mind as everything was perfect !

I love everything hotel was very very clean spotless from top to bottom every you see on the website is exactly what you get I heard ppl compliments about church bell and traffic noise but i was in room 801 and the noise was minimal I will be returning to this hotel whenever I come back to Columbia I have already start to recommend this property to my friends and family to visit whenever they decided to visit Columbia
