Our room was really nice, also with a great view of the surrounding mountains. All staff could not have been nicer, but especially Fabian. Everything was very clean. The jacuzzi pool on the roof was a bonus. Coffee was offered in the lobby all the time. The hotel was close by to lots of restaurants and bars.

The location was great, but Medellin is always noisy it seems. Day and night. Avenue 70 is very busy with vehicle traffic and party traffic at night. Not sure we would have been better off anywhere else! The Colombians like to make noise!!

We were very happy to have stayed at the Factory Lofts Hotel in Laureles. Staff were all lovely and our room worked out very well for us - it was spacious and had a very good (hot) shower. We loved walking in the Laureles neighborhood. It felt very safe to us and we ate most of our meals in the ‘hood. Also availed ourselves of the basement washer and dryer a couple of times — so convenient.

Bed could have been a bit longer and firmer for our taste. They are a pet-friendly hotel, so if a barking dog is likely to bother you, you’d be best off requesting a room away from one occupied by a dog. Major street nearby can also be a bit noisy at night (we were on the 6th floor and could still hear the nearby raucous-ness). Ear plugs are provided for those who might be bothered by this.

Excellent location in the Laureles neighborhood. Fantastic breakfast available in the restaurant next door called SMASH. Really tasty and filling. Room was comfortable and clean.

The walls and the windows are thin so it can get noisy but in all honesty I can say I slept like a baby and the noise coming from the street was not a problem for me. Having said this, yes it can get loud in the morning with the traffic and the honking of the cars. There’s little the hotel can do about this (unless they decide to install new windows).

Our stay was brilliant - the front desk were always so helpful (Fabian and Andres) and friendly. The room was really clean, spacious and well stocked (kitchen, tv, sofa, nice towels etc), and a very comfy bed! The rooftop is great - an area for working out with weights etc, and a lovely pool to take a dip. Great location to explore Laureles; it is a bustling place but we found it easy to sleep and not too noisy at all! We didn’t use it but the co-working space looked really good.

We felt that the staff was very accommodating. We appreciated Andres and Emilliano (helping either transportation, tour ideas, etc.) as well as housekeeping being flexible with our requests. We were able to do our laundry (they provided the free soap and the machines) and afterwards we were able to partake in relaxing in their hot tub on the rooftop while appreciating the amazing city views at night.

They did not offer breakfast, but we did appreciate the free water bottles. One thought would be to offer free water bottles every evening.

Really enjoyed my stay at Factory Lofts. It's a swish, modern property that felt fresh and clean right from the off with an exceptional team of staff at reception. The rooms are done up in an industrial style and I really enjoyed my views from the 6th floor. Keyless entrance made for hassle-free coming and going. It's mostly foreigners and remote workers here, so not the best if socialising is your thing but there are hostels for that. In general I preferred Laureles to Poblado and the more touristy vibe there. Loads of bars, cafes and great restaurants within a safe 15-minute walk. Loved having the rooftop and pool to spend a few hours of downtime each day and top up the tan.

Yes, you are still subject to the noise from Calle 70 nearby. The only night that I noticed a considerable quietening was Monday although I still slept fine. This was despite a room on the 6th floor (the second-highest). Also felt the AC didn't cool the room down enough as it was capped at 18C.

Location off the end of La 70 means that, though there was still some noise (I was on the 6th floor), it's perfect manageable and I always got decent sleep. Plus it's near enough to loads of other restaurants and bars in the other direction to La 70 if you want a change of pace to your evenings. Apartment was very nicely furnished and plenty big enough. Close to the Unicentro mall with plenty of ATMs.

Apartment wasn't cleaned while I was there - could be my mistake in not requesting this, or maybe it's an extra paid service they offer?

The loft is simply gorgeous, spacious bright and equipped with everything you may need and more. We enjoyed being able to make our own breakfast and Xmas dinner, and washing our clothes after a week backpacking Shower is spacious and powerful, the top floor jacuzzi is the cherry on top. There are shops and restaurants around the area and the metro station 15 min walk, were glad we stayed in laureles

Unfortunately the noise from the venues outside is really strong all night and ear plugs don't help much, also walls seemed to be paper thin as we could hear our neighbours talking.
