This accommodation is perfect for resting for a few days when arriving in Costa Rica. It is close to the airport (15 min) and a little away from the city center. We had a room with a great view of Alajuela. The host was always available and ready to help us, despite our late arrival on the first day. She also serves a delicious local breakfast in the morning.

Although this accommodation is not located in the city, it can be a little noisy in the morning (motorcycles on the street, etc.).

I stayed 1 night after flight from germany to CR. Great view over Alajuela and San Jose and a quiet area. No noise from the street. The rooms are in a good condition, simple but there is all you need. The rooms 17, 16, 15 and 7 are with the entrance directly to the pool and sitting area. If you wanna have your private space better to take another room, or you close the door and windows, but if you like the directly contact to others its a good choice. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is personally prepared for you. If you wanna find a design Hotel with modern standard and if you are fastidious you have to book a high price Luxury hotel. If you wanna feel the simple but heartful Costa Rica style you are right here. everything is clean. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at this Costa Rican accommodation! The breathtaking view over San Jose was simply fantastic. Breakfast was prepared with great care and served to our liking. The opportunity to observe the coffee bean harvest next door was a real highlight. This accommodation is definitely the perfect starting or ending point for any Costa Rica trip.

No negative aspects to mention. The features matched the price-performance ratio and our expectations.

The view from the hotel is excellent. The hotel is on the way to the Poás volcano, that’s why I would recommend it for the visitors of the Poas volcano park, who would like to get to the park in the morning. I really appreciate the lady who prepared breakfast for us at 7am - an hour earlier than it is usually served because we had an entry time to the Poas volcano park at 8am.

The facilities are really basic. The toilet in the room has no doors. Staff doesn’t speak English.

I enjoyed the staff, very friendly. And the view from this place is awesome!

The pool vacuum hose was left in the pool to often. I lost/ left my I pod earbuds there. I hope they found them and will return them, mail them to my home.

Daytime view of the valley is beautiful and night-time is a dazzle of lights. Rocio and staff were kind and interactive. Accommodating of our late arrival. Everything in the room was comfortable and worked well.

Voices and sounds carry into the room as we have come to expect in CR. The steep entry drive is strong for walking. The stairs and handrails are helpful. Vehicles handle it well

Great price and location with a wonderful view of San Jose and the mountains. Staff was good.

Pool didn’t seem very clean. The water was cloudy. Could use some chaired and tables out by the overlooking deck. A little more detail to the room cleaning.

It had an amazing view on the city from above and at dawn it was magic! The property has a nice pool in the sun with seating outside The staff is very kind and caring

The facilities are quite old and some maintenance for bathrooms and doors would help.

Incredible night panorama of San Jose and hospitality of the hosts! Considering the breakfast included, views and flexibility of the staff who let us have breakfast a bit later to catch a sunrise, it’s a bargain and probably the best choice in Alajuela!

Amazing view of the city, lovely staff! The pool is a nice bonus and even though breakfast was small it was lovely.

There wasn’t great soundproofing and even though our room was lovely it was right by where everyone walked past/reception.
