Absolutely wonderful staff who do everything possible to help you and make your stay great. It’s a good idea and a nice concept. The restaurant San Lucas in the property was simply amazing and it’s an absolute must too, this was one of the highlights of my trip!

I was expecting this to be significantly more lost in the jungle, but you can actually hear the cars, and you see the town from the pods, so you don’t get this feeling of “ Glamping” in the middle of nowhere. It just wasn’t entirely what I was expecting, particularly for the really high price point. I found it overly expensive.

This property was absolutely amazing. We LOVED our stay in the family tent. The space was beautifully designed, large and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was wow. The beds were beyond comfortable. The views were beautiful. We loved using the kitchen. Everything was squeaky clean. Breakfast was lovely. We saw lots of wildlife around. The surprises and snacks were very appreciated by the kids. It’s a close drive to town and all the activities around. Don’t hesitate and book this place. You won’t regret it.

Nothing. There’s nothing not to like.

It is definitely one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! My kids couldn’t believe how awesome everything was, from the rock wall and slide, the swings and hot tub and Netflix and all the little free gifts. Their minds were blown and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. We all thought the breakfast was amazing, the kids said it was the best hotel breakfast ever. Coffee and hot chocolate were delicious!

The only thing was we stayed on a Saturday night and the music in the city is loud. You could hear the bass of the music super late which if we hadn’t had our kids we would have been down there partying! But needing to wake up in the morning was tough. They do provide ear plugs which helped but the hotel couldn’t prevent this. So it definitely wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again!

Private and secure location in a natural setting, with opportunities to view wildlife, and beautiful site aesthetics. The suite lacked no attention to detail, is well designed and comfortable.

There were no issues with the property per se, but it would have been helpful had the resort’s website provided information for the best travel route/roads to the property in order to avoid one of the main routes, which was very challenging due to the poor condition of the road surface.

This place is perfection. Everything has been considered. The staff was amazing and anticipated everything we might want. We added dozens of birds to our life-lists and saw coatis and agoutis from the comfort of the beautiful balcony. The hot tub and outdoor shower are both top notch. We ended up wishing we'd splurged on one more night.

Incredible furnishings and a unique experience. The bathroom, dome, deck, etc we’re spectacular. I also liked the small thank you gift from the owners to add a personal touch.

A little more noise disturbance than we would have liked. It wasn’t loud, but since we were glamping we expected to be surrounded by nature. The property is close enough to a road that you can sometimes hear that as background noise. Also, around dinner time we could hear reverse beeping from the golf cart that was taking people up and down the hill and seemed to park right under our tent in between rides. It may have only been audible from our tent since we were closest to the entrance (Sunset), but detracted a little bit from the experience. Overall we loved this place though.

Everything was fabulous. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful glamping pods with everything you need and very private. The bed was comfy, soft linen and air con! The outside shower was amazing, fabulous view and we saw a toucan and white faced monkeys whilst in the hot tub. You can walk to restaurants and bars/shops in 10/15 mins, it’s a steep walk back. San Lucas restaurant on site was fantastic x

Everything was perfect, impeccable, well maintained and very tastefully decorated. Location is great, very private and in tune with nature. It has everything needed to feel at home and to cook your own meals.

Could have heating in the room or available in the AC… nights can be cool in Monteverde

The unit was very tastefully designed and very clean with premium feel. It was a great experience to have a private wooded area to vacation and return to a space that you could relax outside to the beautiful view. Had speakers to stream music. Also saw some nice birds and a beautiful Coati in the trees (central American racoon family)

Minor item. Nice that it was close to town but in mornings on somedays had dog barking and motorcycle traffic noise in the distance. TV had only wifi so need and international service to watch anything.

We really enjoyed our well-appointed tent built on top of a wide, private, and secluded platform surrounded by trees with a big, ready-to-use hot tub, comfortable sitting area, and great outdoor and indoor showers. No detail was forgotten - we had bathrobes, slippers, nice towels, and premium hair and skin products. There was also a small welcome basket, but don't expect too much; ours had two small apples, a couple of snacks, and, surprisingly, a pack of instant oatmeal. The included in-room breakfast was nice and could be upgraded for a small surcharge to include extra items if wanted.

We expected to be surrounded by the sounds of nature; instead, if we heard anything, it was from children in the tent not far from ours or from motorbikes on nearby town roads. Maybe it was just our luck, or we should have stayed more than one night, but we saw no animals or exotic birds. Also, Chira is not really in the "middle of the woods" but off a narrow side street close to town. So, the view, although very nice, has some unwelcome distractions
