We quite enjoyed that this villa was in a remote area, but still not far from the main attractions of the Istra region. We had a corner room on the first floor with a view of the harbour and a pool, quite a stunning view. The owner was friendly and she herself has a nice, very friendly dog. Breakfast was quite nice. The place is dog-friendly with a daily fee. Quite calm, not many people.

Coffee provided in a room is not free, and there are quite strict rules about what you can throw in the bin ( if you throw any plastic which is not from the property, you will be charged). We had one plastic bag from a dog food and preferred to take it with us because of that/

Actually, everything about Villa Stefanija was absolutly amazing. This place is truly special, offering simple but true luxury. Duška was such a wonderful host - we shall be forever grateful for your warm welcome. The staff are also so kind and did everything to make our stay unforgettable. Villa Stefanija is spotless and so well kept. Our room was small but truly beautiful, the bed was so comfortable with beautiful bedclothes. There were plently of towels, shampoo, conditioner, showering gel, body lotion etc in the bathroom. We also really appreciated the extra towels for the pool. Breakfast was a dream and we also enjoyed delicious food (thanks to the great cook) and drinks in the restaurant on three out of four evenings. The service was so friendly and just so wonderful. We wish to thank Duška and her staff for making our stay so special. We really appreciate what you did for us. We will definitely be back as soon as ever possible. Villa Stafanija is such a truly special and welcoming place. Wishing all of you wonderful people there very very best. We miss you.

Absolutly nothing. Villa Stefanija is just perfect in every way.

Host was extremely nice and polite, she showed us around the house when we came. The hotel all in all is really cute, the whole design concept is modern rustic and the pool (and patio) is big and clean. Can not forget the breakfast - it was exceptional.

Even though all rooms have seaside view which is a big advantage, there is a slight problem when you have your room windows open because under the windows and balconies is their restaurant which is quite loud. Especially early in the morning (from 7:00) when people eat breakfast and late in the evening (till 23:00). There were children screaming and people talking very loud while we just needed a break. Because of nice and cool summer evening temperature we had our windows open instead of running air condition.

The location and the views were beautiful. We particularly appreciated the breakfast - it was very tasty, local and we even had fresh figs from the garden. The stay was quiet and peaceful - very often, we were the only ones swimming in the pool and sunbathing.

The bed. It was short (*we are taller) and the mattress was not comfortable as it was too hard. Even though the AC was working fine, for the summer months we would recommend a lighter cover.

This is a gorgeous property situated at the end of a narrow country road that leads to the most amazing panoramic view of the sea. We had a standard room which was small but coquette, with a small (shared) balcony that let us further enjoy the sea view from inside. Cleanliness is at very high level, everything was spotless, even the pool water was perfectly clean all the time. We loved the pool as we had it almost completely to ourselves, no cram, no noise and, my favorite, no children:), though I believe this was merely a coincidence. We had dinner at the property on 2 occasions and it was delicious! And last, but not at all least, the staff was incredible! Kind & friendly and out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. I must say, with no intention to create any jealousy, that my no. 1 was Bon! A lovely stay, thank you!

A teeny-weeny minus was the lack of variety on the breakfast menu. Although delicious, it was pretty much the same every morning.

The hotel is in nice and peaceful area at the end of a small village. View from the room was beautiful overlooking the sea. There is also forest and trail next to the hotel which was ideal for a walk with our dog. Unfortunately it was too cold (we were there in March) to use the pool, but it was nice and clean. Host was super friendly and always available. Breakfast was also delicious. We hope to return!

some hotels have great views, some have a great breakfast, some even have super friendly staff. and some have picture perfect rooms. and a superduper diner too. travelled the world but never found all those things as perfect at this in one place! yes it is maybe a bit more expensive, then the average b&b, but it is more than worth your time and money. because it isn’t average. it is a place you will never ever forget. and they will do anything to make sure you have a great time with the required as good as you can make gluten-free food.

Villa Štefanija in Barban, Croatia, is a perfect retreat. The cozy ambiance felt like a home away from home, and the owner’s kindness ensured a seamless stay. The infinity pool with panoramic Adriatic views was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommended for a serene and relaxing getaway.

The location is excellent with a breathtaking view of the bay and the Kvarner from the infinity pool. But the best thing about Villa Stefanija is the team, no better service possible.

Can't think of anything but maybe my stay was too short and had I stayed longer I would have fonund somthing, But highly unlikely.

The location was very nice and calm, you can really relax there. The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms and the whole property was very clean. We really enjoyed very much!
