Owner could not have been any kinder towards us. We were late arriving due to traffic at the border, but he patiently waited for us on the street and volunteered to carry our heavy case up the steps to our room. Upon arrival, despite our late hour, he thoroughly explained all that was required in the room, and despite starting at 5:30 a.m. the following day, he accompanied us downstairs to a restaurant to ensure they would serve us food, despite being near closing time. He then checked we were ok in the restaurant before he left for the evening. After a long and tiring journey, his welcoming face and demeanour was very much appreciated. Location was ideal for us as bus stop with easy access to old town right by the door, as well as being right opposite the main bus station. Such a gracious host and wonderful stay!

It's a small accommodation with four rooms. The location was quite good; the bus station to other cities is just across the street and there are grocery stores like Konzum and Studenac nearby. Room is clean and tidy; the owner Luka is helpful and you can communicate with him via the Booking.com chat when he's not around. So make sure you tell him what time you are arriving and leaving beforehand. It takes a few steps to its entrance, but Luka is kind enough to help move our bags up the stairs. If you need luggage storage before or after, the bus station nearby can help, which costs less than 0.5 Euro for an hour.

You might have to wait for about 30 minutes or more between showers for hot water supply.

Clean room with excellent water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed, and extremely attentive and kind host. This was such a welcome reprieve after 36 hours of travel to get to Croatia. Loved having a fridge and hot water heater in the room for making coffee and green tea in the morning and keeping our bottled water cold. Even the smaller rooms have no problem fitting a couple + four pieces of carry-on size luggage. As a bonus, the soundproofing from the outside is excellent- when we stayed in the room right by the bus stop, you could not hear any street noise in the room. One thing to note- be a conscientious guest when you’re leaving/ coming back to your room as it’s not completely sound proof from the hallway into the rooms. Not a problem though- just something we noticed once :) This property is perfect if you’re taking a bus or a cruise from Dubrovnik as it is literally right across the street from the bus station and a quick walk to the port. And we were able to either walk (~45 minutes) or uber (5-10 minutes and 6-12 euros) into old town.

Ora suited our situation perfectly, as we were in transit to Montenegro after a flight from Rome to Dubrovnik. The hotel is located right across the street from the Dubrovnik bus terminal, so we took the shuttle from the airport and then picked up our bus to Kotor the next day. Luka, the proprietor, gave us a warm greeting and fast check-out the next day. The rooms are tastefully refurbished; the bathroom and shower are particularly nice. Our room was perfectly quiet, even being situated just one floor above the street immediately across from the bus terminal and the cruise port.

Host was really friendly and helpful. He showed us to the room personally, including a little room tour, opened windows for view and gave us bus information etc. He even presented us a souvenir (clay ornament of fotress) on our check out but we politely declined as our luggage were full. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. Location was very convenient, just across from main bus station where we arrived in. A nice bistro was conveniently at doorstep too. Getting to Pile gate just few bus stops away.

Not much really, except the shower might get parts of the bathroom wet due to design. Complimentary coffee packs were a bit too sweet and few for the 4 days we were there.

The room was amazing - very clean, with lots of space, and the beds were very comfortable plus the air con made our room nice and cool for sleeping. The room also had tea & coffee provided, and a mini fridge too. The walk in shower, and bathroom, was an excellent standard, all very new and super clean. The host Luka was incredibly helpful, he allowed us to drop off our bags early, and helped with local information and phone charging. Also very quick to respond to any messages, if you need more help.

It was a shame we only needed to stay 2 nights, we would have liked to stay longer. My photos are not as good as theirs, so I’ve put the proximity to the port, and bus station, instead which was our priority.

We arrived late at night about 10pm from Dubrovnik airport. The owner was inside. Did not know that just knocking on the entrance door will do. He helped carried our luggages up to the room. Very pleasant modern room with comfortable bed for good sleep. Below are 2 bistros that still serve food and drinks. This location is useful if you are taking the TP ferry to the islands eg Korcula. Can walk with your luggages to the ferry point about 800m away.

Clean, comfortable room. Excellent room appointments. Centrally located for my needs.

Lack of adequate presence of hotel/owner during daytime hours. Upon my return to the Ora Luxury Rooms following a week-long cruise, I visited the facility at 1 PM to attempt to retrieve a personal item left in my room. No one was present in the mid-afternoon. Repeated knocking at the door resulted in no answer. I had to give up on my attempt to retrieve my property.
