It was so central! It took you like 10 minutes and you were already in the old town of split. 5 minutes to dm (a german supermarket) and to the other side you had a very nice bakery! Actually you cannot find a more central stay than here and it is so silent! as soon as you close the window it doesn‘t matter how loud a person on the little side street is yelling - you don’t hear anything. Also the ambient of this apartment was so sweet i fell in love. And it was so clean! Normally I am very picky and a walk with shoes because I think it is not clean enough. There it was so clean I could walk without shoes. Also the personal was so sweet! Leave them a tip when you leave as a small thank you for cleaning this good!

The only thing that was a little bit uncomfortable is when the new guests arrived above us and they were running the stairs up and down like animals. But this is easy to handle - just tell them to be a little more quiet when running up the stairs and all good :) For some people the apartment might be small. But com‘on you are herr to see the city not to stay at home. it‘s the perfect size to sleep and chill. You also have a sofa, a tv,.. you even have a shower with LED lights and listen to radio im it.. so for this price you really have it all💪🏻 loved it.

The staff are excellent! I've never used booking.com before and they were so helpful even before our stay in ensuring the reservations were straightened out and correct. The airport transfer service was great and the care in welcoming you to the property and explaining the local attractions was wonderful. The actual room was very comfortable, the attached bathroom was roomy and very clean, and I love the history of the property. Lovely 5 minute walk from old town, but in a quiet area for sleeping.

Centrally located appartment, harbour, railway station nearby. Very great old building renovated into the tourist appartment with the jacuzzi bath. Split old town is breathtaking despite many visitors in top seasons.

Slighlty noisy surroundings with a lot of people and music - hustle and bustle going till late night hours. Cash payment only for the accommodation. Recommended ATM machine by staff who runs the Luxury appartments which was just next to the office charges high fee for the withdrawal cash. Free car parking is not available. Car parking in Split city centre is complicated and for a foreigher kaotic. No traffic signs or road lines where you can/cannot park. Several jets in jacuzzi did not work - just a minor thing.

We had an excellent stay. Even before arrival we were contacted by the property to assure a smooth arrival. They gave great information on the area. Things to see and do. Authentic luxury rooms is in a great location in the oldtown. The rooms are very quiet, comfortable and clean. I can highly recommend.

Location was paramount for us as it needed to be close to the port. Authentic was easy to find and the room was perfect for the two of us. The best part was the quick response from Mario, Maria and Ivana to any question we had. They wanted to ensure we had a wonderful visit. For example they offered to allow us to store our luggage before our room was ready. Thank you very much!!

My 2 night stay in Split was a little stressful as my luggage was lost at the airport. My wonderful host Ivana at Authentic Luxury rooms was incredibly helpful - she called the airport for me, made great suggestions and checked in with me regularly until the issue was resolved. I was so impressed with her caring and genuine nature. the property is well located in the old town, walking distance to the castle, port, restaurants and shops. the room was spacious, clean, had great air conditioning, comfortable and secure. breakfast was plentiful and tasty. thank you Ivana & Mario!!

Very comfortable foam mattress on a really big bed. Quiet and dark for sleeping. Great location to access the old town, coastal walks north and south, and the ferries and airport bus Hot water kettle, safe, A/C, fridge, good wifi, netflix. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast.

Though on the ground floor, there were sketchy stone steps down to the room. We did get help with the bags, though. It.was on the pricey side, as was breakfast, but that appears to be the norm here.

Maria was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect for access to restaurants, the city, markets and ferries. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. I recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and great value for money!

Authentic operates multiple sites, our actual room was a couple of mins walk from the exact location mentioned. The room was really comfortable and the view was exactly as promised.

The room was present in an old building on the 2nd floor without lift. Additionally, the bathroom didn’t have any ventilation. Lastly - they only accept VISA cars, so make sure you have a Visa else cash.

Breakfast was served in a charming breakfast room with a lovely selection of cereal, eggs and continental meats and cheese,toast, juice etc. Friendly and personable staff ...Maria, Ana, Mario...provided local information and helped with luggage and other daily services. A fantastic location ..close to Diocletian palace but very quiet. I will stay there again.
