Best spot in town! Will be my go to spot. If I return 100%. -Perfect location when it comes to beach and old town center access. While having access to quietness you won't get inside the old town. - Room was really nice, CLEAN and spacious! No unescceary stuff there. -The host delivered excellent customer service. Definitely elevated my overall enjoyment of the place. Like I was soooo close to give this place a 10 out of 10 because of that.

Nothing it was perfect. But I have some nit-picks and some suggestions on improvement -Floor heater in the bathroom doesn't seem to work or heat adequately. Felt cold on the floor and air in bathroom. -Warm water tank. Hehhe is a bit small for us used to "infinity" warm water. - Could have a sweeping brrom/mop. For the people staying for long durations. Would also recommend to setup a clothes washing offer once per week for an additional X price too. -Luggage storage. Even though you don't need that in tourism season. But makes you more professional and gives the impression that you care about giving the best service possible. Even with these I would still say it was perfect! Cause it really was.

Apartment was spotless and very tastefully decorated. It was a beautiful old stone house, only a 5 minute walk to the waterfront restaurants, palace & markets. Marco's father met us & settled us in. The following day, Marco took us on a day trip via Sibinek & Krka to our next accommodation in Zadar. He went above & beyond to help us. Thanks 🙏 so much Marco. It was a wonderful experience.

Nothing to not like about House Sandra. In hindsight, we should have taken a taxi from the ferry as it was a bit difficult trying to negotiate the busy street with our luggage.

While I didn't meet a physical person during my stay, there was frequent email communication in English which was very friendly and warm. The room was really nice and decorated in a modern-traditional style. The air-conditioning worked really well. You can walk to the location from the Bus Station really quickly. There is almost no need to get a taxi. House Sandra is in a lovely central area of the city.

Once you get CLOSE to House Sandra, the streets are very labyrinthine. So, you might go around in circles trying to find it. I was lucky the night I arrived but on my second night, I got a little lost very close to the accommodation. That is my only concern... and really, it was something that was easy to solve.

Good location near ferry port and old town Split. Very friendly host. Spacious room with big bed. Also fridge and small kitchenette. Airport transfer optional which we took when we left, was easy to arrange and hassle-free. Host lives in the building so easy to get hold of.

Nothing major, bed was too soft for our tastes but it depends on the sleeper. Also one improvement I would suggest is to put curtain or something in the window which is towards bed. Now in the morning when sun rises it shines right into your eyes through the wooden shades.

This studio was absolutely amazing. I walked in and was immediately taken by the charm of the room and how .spacious it was. It is tucked away in a quiet location while being really close to everything. It has everything I needed. I was able to cook a couple of simple meals. The bathroom is roomy and the water hot. I didn't use the TV, but it's there should you need it It was stocked with delicious teas and some coffee, with the offer of restocking should you need. I didn't want to leave. There is also a little table and a couple of chairs should you with to sit outside. There isn't a view, but I took a book out there one evening when I was too tired to venture out into the busy harbour, and it was very pleasant and peaceful.

The only minor thing I thought is it could do with a spatular for the frying pan and a wooden spoon.

I’d give this place 5 stars! The location is fantastic—just under a 10-minute walk to Riva Promenade and less than 5 minutes to a supermarket. Great value for a 3-night stay. Marko was super friendly, and the airport transfers both ways were a big plus. The room itself was lovely. The only small downside was the lack of a microwave, but overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Sometimes you know as soon as you walk into a hotel room that you've made the right choice, and you immediately feel at home. This is exactly how I felt when I arrived at House Sandra! Great sized room, tastefully decorated, VERY comfortable bed, and everything was spotlessly clean. Amenities were great too, with an iron and ironing board, Wi-fi, large screen TV, hairdryer, electric kettle with a selection of teas, ample storage, plus a small fridge. I particularly liked the exposed stone wall and the lighting, it gave the room a calm and cozy feel. The bathroom was small, but again; spotlessly clean. It was also the first place I'd stayed on my trip where there was plenty of hot water, and I could actually have a decent hot shower! You might need Google Maps to help you find the place at first, but once you know where it is, it's easy to find again. The location is great too; minutes from the Old Town, harbour, bus and train stations, restaurants, shops etc. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

That I only stayed one night, and hadn't planned to stay longer!

We LOVED having an authentic area to stay for the night while in Split. We did not want a typical hotel experience thus the stay at HOUSE OF SANDRA. The area once we got our bearings straight was easy to navigate through with a variety of options for meals, sight-seeing-Old Town and beach area. All less than 15 minute walk. There was a place right next door for breakfast/lunch/dinner that was reasonably priced and delicious. Marco and his father were helpful and made communicating via text easy prior to and during our stay. Marco drove us to the airport for a reasonable fee and was delightful and knowledgable of the area while traveling through the different parts of Split. We enjoyed talking with him and learning first hand his experiences while living in the area. Uber drivers do not speak...Marco shared stories and was full of life experiences during our 40 minute drive to the Split airport. (Airport easy to navigate through-smaller) The room was VERY clean, bed was comfortable, air conditioner...exactly as pictured. They accommodated early arrival with our luggage as well later check-out with luggage and a small area to change after the beach. We would HIGHLY recommend staying at HOUSE of SANDRA. It was everything we were looking for and were fortunate for such a great opportunity while in Split for 1 night and 2 full days.

The room was simply perfect, really spacious with a very comfortable bed, well equipped, beautifully designed and lit. The bathroom is particularly gorgeous, and modern. But the best experience was the extreme kindness of our hosts, they were always available and very helpful. The old town and the beach were only a 5-minute walk away, but the accommodation was in a very quiet place. We had a really good time in Split.

Wonderful, kind hosts. They were there to welcome me when I arrived and allowed me to stay later on the day I was leaving as my bus was in the afternoon, which was so nice of them. Very short walk to the bus station and centre, great for early morning running along the water. The room was large, beautiful, and had a well equipped kitchenette with kettle and large fridge. There was a table and chairs which was great as I needed to do some work. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Excellent wifi.

The room could take a little while to warm up with its beautiful stone walls, but the bed was very warm and comfortable. The only issue was that the hot water in the shower didn't last very long, so I would be rinsing my hair in cold water. A little brrrrr!
