Friendly staff, amazing location, right next to coral bay beach. Loved the spa facilities and the gym!

Parking was less than stellar. It seemed like there were many that parked in the lot that weren’t guests at the hotel and my partner and I had to park further away from hotel even though parking is is part of what we pay for. So that was quite frustrating. Fix that and it’s 10/10 stay! Overall just a great experience though :)

We planned afew days at Paphos and then remaining trip in Ayia Napia, however we enjoyed this hotel so much ( and missed it) that we travelled back from Ayia Napia to spend the remaining time of the trip back at Thalassa in Paphos. It's literally like going from your home to home. Very relaxed and chill vibes. Stunning views, beautiful location with beach access a stone throw away. Staff are amazing, very helpful. We felt very comfortable and relaxed. Very well looked after by staff and the Manager, such an amazing, professional woman, looked after us throughout our whole stay. Breakfast was delicious, never disappointed with fresh food. I asked for Ice Coffee which wasn't available but the staff went above and beyond to make me one. Dinner was amazing - fresh and simply delicious. Worth trying ! Plenty of parking space ( as we rented a car) and all round security. Easy access to rooms and beautiful lounging areas to relax during the day. Evening time feels special as the areas are lit up with a cosy vibe. Double beds are HUGE and mattress/pillow are extremely comfy. Had a brilliant night sleep. We were a group aged 24, 38, 60+ and each one of us loved this hotel. Spa facilities are very good. Strong steam room and sauna. Outdoor pool is very clean and always in sight ... especially lovely sitting outside having breakfast overlooking the pool and the ocean. Also beautiful places to visit only afew minutes away, such as sea caves, canyons, shipwreck location and much more also supermarket at the top, 1 min walk. Definitely book this hotel if visiting Paphos and see for yourself.

Best location with great view on the bay. Beautiful hotel, terrace decorated in style with extremely comfortable outdoor furniture and deck chairs. Staff was always helpful and friendly.

Bathrooms are nice, but in near future it might be time for renovation. They are not at same level as rest of the hotel.

The hotel’s stunning cliffside location offers breathtaking views, and the pristine beach is just a short stroll away (less than 100 steps, to be exact!). Whether lounging by the pool or on the beach, we loved the convenience of the plentiful sunbeds—available on both sides of the cliff, thanks to the shared access with the sister hotel. Despite the high season, we never had trouble finding a spot to relax. What truly makes Thalassa exceptional, though, is the outstanding service. Every staff member is attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure your stay is flawless. A special mention goes to Nair, who went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests (and there were quite a few!) with a smile. We can’t wait to return—this place feels like a second home

The Coral Bay area made it the perfect choice as our research had pointed out how wonderful the beaches were in this area. We got engaged in a small Taverna 21 years ago so it was perfect. The images we saw prior to arrival made it clear this was the resort for us and soon realised that it benefited from an east to west location, taking in both the sunrise and sunset. We arrived sunset time and made it just in time to watch the sun go down over the best beach in Paphos with a cocktail in hand. The commanding spot of the hotel which sits on the hillside was so outstanding and completely the views were absolutely breath taking, this was perfect for us as a couple. The ambiance and serenity of the hotel did not disappoint. One thing we hadn’t realised was that the hotel literally sits on Mass Paninsula, an ancient Greek archaeological site, right next to the resort, Wow… We were met by smiling faces the minute we walked in and immediately felt at home, after a short wait we were taken to our beautiful room by one of the team members with robes, fully stocked minibar and clean fresh linen made it feel like the boutique hotel we were expecting. The facilities and service from the staff the entire time we were there were second to non and there was nothing they couldn’t do for us. During our stay we made sure we sampled everything we possibly could, with a beautiful outdoor pool and stunning indoor pool and spa too which we used at least once a day. You can also actually dine around at the sister hotel next door, the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort, We chose the half board basis as we had hired a car during the week, it is great as it’s left hand drive in Cyprus so for us Brits it’s far less daunting that trying to navigate the other side of the road, so less stressful for someone like me. There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. The worse part was when we had to come home

Beautifully renovated a few years ago & re-opened after Covid. Lovely, medium sized hotel, restful, elegant, with a fabulous coastal outlook one way & small harbour the other way. Excellent facilities, spacious room with balcony, & a super comfy super king bed. From the harbour side (we were on the top floor, room 704, so quiet) we could hear the sound of the waves lapping, which was great. Reception staff were outstanding. Welcoming, always smiling, so polite & helpful, & they remembered details about us/guests, which was lovely. Breakfasts were great - varied fresh fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice, a plentiful cooked option with eggs, pancakes etc prepared fresh. We ate brunch daily & needed nothing more 'til dinner. The wines were well chosen & had a wide price range, with plenty of Cypriot wines that were inexpensive. The evening buffet was delicious, with a different theme every night (Mediterranean, BBQ, Italian...curry night was superb; Cypriot night delicious.) There was great variety, with something simpler always on the menu for those not wanting more varied foods (eg always a delicious roast. I saw options for vegetarians daily too. The salad bar was also always changing, & the desserts were very well presented, sensible portions, & always included fruits too. The balcony was lovely to dine out on, with lots of room inside too if it was cool. Restaurant staff were lovely! Friendly, attentive, warm. Special thanks to Gabriel, who was such fun too. Music entertainment most nights was varied, small scale & never intrusive. We loved the regular Friday night guitarist/vocalist. The pool was lovely, but sea swimming from the beach below was also an early morning treat. Plenty of loungers & comfortable seating areas on the terrace made relaxing a pleasure. Location superb - away from the busier areas of Paphos (about 25mins drive) & of Coral Bay itself.

Nothing! Just be aware that the angle of the sun means (in May) the pool is in shade from mid PM, so if you want to enjoy the terrace & pool in sunshine plan your days to allow for that. Pool swimming starts at 9am (so breakfast is not affected by swimmers right by the dining terrace, which was thoughtful) so have a sea swim if you are an early bird, or use the indoor pool, which is open from 8am, I think.

Evertyhing was exceptional. The staff was very welcoming, bar services were with a smile, and without a hitch. Also, there was a good variety during breakfast

Coffee during breakfast was bitter. I would recommend changing the brand or the coffee machine.

For me it's the food and friendly staff. But I enjoyed the gym and both pools too :-) Oh....and the pinacoladas. The views from our room, the pool or the restaurant were beautiful. Especially the sun set. This is a hotel for making memories.

Little upset cold water in the pool and jacuzzi in spa zone

The hotel is placed on a wonderful location where it comes to sea view. Our room had a balcony. It is very quiet and romantic. The staff was simply amazing. Every question we had was answered immediately. We arrived at night because our flight was delayed. They had fruit wine and sandwiches waiting for us in the room. We forgot to bring electrical adapters and they provide it to us. The pool was very nice with lots of beds available. There are steps to the beach and we used it every morning. Breakfast was very tasty with many options. The restaurant staff was very helpful and attentive. Especially Aristhos who went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Overall we had a great time and are already planning a return to this location!

Nothing really, but I recommend arriving by car. We did and used it from time to time. It requires transportation if you want to go to restaurants or taverns. A car makes it easy.
