The rooms are excellent - very modern, comfortable and clean. Thanks to triple-pane windows and good sound insulation of the walls, I did hear the road next to it at all. Breakfast was served in the Restaurant "Burger Berg" that belongs to the same owner as the pension. It was good, with a sufficient choice also for vegetarians like me. The restaurant also serves good dinners to all those who like Burgers - it also serves vegetarian options. The Pension is in walking distance (700m) from the train station (important for me), and directly next to the beginning of the "via ferrata" climbing trails of Děčín (not important for me, but for people who like climbing).

It was not clear to me when I booked it through booking.com that there was no reception, but only a box with room keys to be unlocked with a code send by e-mail.

we loved the location in the pedestrian area of the town. we also loved the space of the apartment and having a kitchen. The inner courtyard allowed us to safely store our bikes and there was a nice little sitting area. We did not meet the host however email communication was always prompt and his instructions for getting the keys were easy.

we didn’t realize that there were steep stairs and that the WC was on the lower level and the bedroom on the upper level.

Not too far from the centre/hlavni nadraži. Spacious room. Complimentary breakfast in the burger bar at the ground floor of the building very good, especially the big drinking glasses for your morning drink - in contrast to the tiny ones you get at most other places - excellent.

Quite some loud traffic on the street beneath which may be a problem in the summertime. Some attention should be paid to the bathroom fittings where a gap between the fitting and the wall might enable water to permeate into the wall.

The rooms are newly renovated, comfortable. We loved the movie theme and the view. There was a coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was good. They didn't cater for special requests - like glutene-free bread and vegetable milk - but I understand it at such small pension.

Only public parking place is available. Packing from and into the car is somewhat akward - either we hold up the traffic or park at the foot of the via ferrata.

Delicous breakfast (not just the usual, but also e.g. quiche, red beet carpaccio, mango juice). Nice and beautiful room with luxury like airco and a coffee machine and rain shower. Good beds. Next to the via ferrata, which was our goal in Decin.

The accomodation is right at a main street, so you hear cars but it did not bother us too much

Penzion Via Ferrata fitted our requirements perfectly. The room was really big and a lovely view of the castle. The self check in experience was smooth and a great buffet breakfast included. The instructions for parking nearby were accurate and very close to the penzion. Highly recommend.

Small hotel next to the Via Ferrata (a must do!) with a beautiful view over the Elbe river. Loved the calm environment. The room was very spacious with mini fridge and coffee/tea facilities. Colin is a very friendly host and it was also very easy to socialize with other guests. Simple but tasty breakfast. Delicious burger bar next door. Tip: it's only a short bus ride to Hrensko to do beautiful hiking trails in Bohemian Switserland.

Bed was a bit hard, but that's personal. Shower drain was clogged.

Authentic hotel (probably family-owned) with fancy wall decorations. I wish we could get Star Wars appartment ;). Very friendly owners. Nice breakfast.

One small thing that would need improvement was the cleanness of the floor because it looked like people are supposed to wear shoes in the appartment. I like when I don't need to do so. Everything else was very good.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. It was different for the two days we were there. One day they had french toast and breakfast burritos that were excellent. Walking distance from the train station and main parts of the city.the room was spacious and quiet.

Best hostel free breakfast I’ve ever had. Also let us keep our bags in our room until 15:30 since there was no one booked after us, which was extremely helpful as we ventured to the Bohemian Forest. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, gorgeous shower. Definitely recommend this place.
