The location is very central therefore very convenient to explore the city on foot. Having said that, our windows faced the main road with trams, businesses and many loud (perhaps drunk) people. So keeping the windows open overnight wasn't an option. Luckily, the hotel provides an air-con unit. The breakfast was served, freshly cooked, good coffee. The staff were all very young, but professional, advised us on getting around and were generally helpful.

The noise of the main road and inability to keep the windows open overnight. It was the weekend and some of the shop owners across the road were very noisy in the morning. So yeah, soundproofing could be better, however, it is a historical building and I doubt much can be done.

I so loved everything about this place, I don't even know where to begin. The staff were super friendly and the whole place was full of character and finished with great attention to detail. I stayed in the attic room, which was incredibly cosy and comfortable and had everything I needed. The most comfy bed, great shower, coffee machine, kettle, everything clean and in perfect working order. Even the kettle was clean and had no sign of limescale. Shampoo, conditioner, coffee pods, tea bags, a bottle of water, cotton pads and so on... I could literally show up with no personal possessions and be comfortable. Plus it was nice and quiet at night. I also appreciated the long opening hours of the downstairs café and enjoyed delicious scrambled eggs and coffee for breakfast and a drink in the evening. It was my birthday the day I checked in and I was looking for something special and definitely found it there. Now I hope I'll be able to stay there again and again every time I travel to Olomouc.

- Location in the very center of Olomouc. - The room was beautifully designed in an archaic style, and extraordinarily spacious for a hotel. Possibly the nicest hotel room I've ever seen in this price range.

- There is no lift, so bringing luggage to your room can be a bit of an exercise. But to be fair, the receptionist offered his help too. - I recommend to have breakfast somewhere else. The breakfast is not continental - you have to order and it's fairly small. Waiters disagreed with each other whether we should pay the package price for the whole breakfast, or individually for each item, if we didn't pre-book the breakfast (that said, the difference was not huge). The cafe was also busy with non-hotel guests, so we waited a long time, which is always annoying if you're eager to go exploring.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was big and spacious, with wide, comfortable bed that made for a perfect night's sleep. The hotel is set in a beautiful, very old building, which added an authentic and charming touch to the whole experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal—surrounded by cozy cafés and lively bars. Breakfast, made with local specialties, warmed our hearts in the morning :) I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is perfectly situated in Olomouc, when you want to explore the historic city center, and it's just as drivable when you arrive by car, as it is walkable when you arrive on public transport or just leave your car parked after your arrival. On top of that, apart from the great location, it's also a very sweet hotel. The staff are great from check-in, through your meals and other needs, all the way to your check-out. And the breakfast is fantastic. The hotel itself is lovely due to the preservation of the historic core of the building, mixed with the right amount of modernity.

This is not a negative of the hotel per se (and a non-issue when you're not impaired in any way), as it's just a consequence of being in a building of a certain vintage (and they are not making a secret of it): There is no elevator (for people), so there is a flight of stairs leading to the rooms (a baggage elevator exists, though).

The location to main square is excellent. The amenities including a fruit basket are top notch. Historical touch in decor very nice. Breakfast at the cafe was delicious.

We were in Room 2 facing the front street where the trams rumble by night and day. It was very noisy. I could hear them and people out late during the night even with ear plugs. It was a loud night. See about a room in the back. When I checked they were for 3 and 4 people. Miss Sophie’s might want to give ear plugs as an amenity!

Our room was huge and beautifully furnished. The included breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic for access to the old town - a short walk to the fountains, wine bars, restaurants and boutique stores. Loved our stay and would highly recommend to others.

We loved our experience here. Every single staff person we encountered was happy, friendly, kind and a pleasure to speak with. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We did chose a room at the back of the property so had no issues with street or tram noise. This is exactly the type of property that we like to stay at. We are very happy to have this great experience in a fantastic, under discovered town. Loved Olomusc.

We had absolutely amazing stay in this cozy hotel in Olomouc. The rooms were very tastefully decorated, everything cleaned to perfection. Breakfast very tasty, you could pick from multiple options. People taking care of this place were very attentive and nice. We travel a lot and this is definitelly a place we will remember as it is really exceptional.

Loved this quirky place, very characterful old building, beautifully restored and decorated. Cute garden at the back for drinks or to relax. Excellent location right in the middle of the old town. Very friendly staff. Recommend Room 1 at the back which has a little balcony and overlooks the tree-filled garden. Is also very quiet unlike some front rooms.

Some rooms at the front can be noisy because of the cobbled street and trams though there is double glazing. It was very hot but we found the air con noisy. Other rooms have fans. The young staff would benefit from overall direction from a manager as the room cleaning in our 4 night stay was very random.
