The location is not bad and only about 10 minutes walk from the Nova Karolina shopping centre. I think there might even be a bus connection nearby but I didn't use it. Room was large and spacious and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel provided the invoice that I requested without any problems.

The area is a little but run down but that isn't the fault of the hotel. It isn't the best lit street but we managed to get back fine. The whole check in process after 12 is a bit odd and reminds me more of an airbnb than a hotel but it works fine.

The breakfast was very good, your staff were all very friendly and helpful. As it was my first stay in Ostrova I cannot comment on location as I left there 11am next day. But I did find a small cafe that was fine for passing time.

I never noticed the windows were open, so ended up being bitten by something at least 10 times through the night, mosquitos I assume. I have been bitten by them before so I know to not scratch the bites :)

Located in a quieter area outside the city center, was quite easy to find (google maps). Reception is manned during the morning only (not sure what happens if you have a problem…) so check-in was via a lock-box (not a problem). There is parking outside the hotel in a sort of courtyard/driveway. The hotel seems to be an old apartment building reparceled up into rooms: my room was quite large, with old, wooden furniture –sort of charming. Lighting was OK (could be brighter), wifi signal was fast but weak, cutting out from time to time. Had a medium-sized LCD with no English channels. Bathroom fine. Good VFM.

There was no minibar fridge (each floor had a fridge in the hallway with various items for sale - reasonable prices). Room had no fan or a/c, which was not good during the heatwave. Breakfast was OK, perhaps a bit sparse, with a Nescafe-like coffee machine (some filter coffee would be much easier and much better).

It’s lovely and quiet at night. It’s located near bus and tram stops. It is clean and comfortable. The staff were really good - very welcoming.

Hot water was sometimes an issue in our shower.

It's a fair place to spend a day or two. Furniture is cool!

Bad water pressure, old shower sprinkler, cleaning could be more thorough, there was someone's hair in the bathroom. Also, cleaning ignored "do not disturb" sign.

Overall quite cozy, big bathroom, good location, close to Flixbus bus station

Very weak internet signal, at least in my room (18, first floor).

Everything was appropriate for the price. If someone wants something much higher, then they should look at another price range.

Greek restaurant at the ground floor. Stinks cigarette butt more than the cigarette butt does.
