Where else to stay in Ostrava than in an old mine? The former administrative building today contains the hotel rooms. The hotel is also placed walking distance from a tram and bus station where you can reach basically all places of Ostrava. The hotel has also a good restaurant with a lounge zone.

It was not clear that with limited number of visitors at the hotel, our breakfast won't be a buffet but a prepared plate (but still with the kitchen provided scrambled eggs or similar on request). The majority of the guests left on Sunday and thus we had a limited breakfast on Monday. This won't happen in high season I assume. While the restaurant contains nice original pictures of mines around Ostrava, the hotel room contained an AI slop. That was disappointing and I would expect on a deluxe room to have also a print of a original picture. I am sure there are picture from Ostrava's mines that are without copyrights if that was the issue. But AI generated weird picture does not give me "dekuxe" vibe.

The hotel has everything for a good evening. Special thanks to Lukáš and the chef for a wonderful evening in the restaurant - everything was delicious and exquisite. The hotel has a great team and we thank everyone for taking care of us. We will be back. If access to sockets is most important to you, choose another hotel. We charged our phones and computers.

We chose this hotel based on the photos of the hotel/rooms and breakfast room. This hotel definitely did not disappoint! The breakfast was fantastic...probably the best we've tried in this price range in any Czech hotel.

We found the walls very thin. We could hear absolutely everything from the rooms next door an opposite. Lucky for us, we came back to the hotel very tired on both occasions - so despite the noise we managed to get a good night sleep.

perfect service for the front office Ms. Timmy, very professional and friendly she explained everything about the city and all needed information.. she done amzinng job and on the c/out day she help with breakfast.. a true perfect receptionist.. the room was clean abit Hot because No AC but there was a fan.. nothing to worry about it.. Great breakfast, comfy place to spend a night during your Eurotrip.

We stayed in the same hotel twice and did not receive the nice interior. So it is a question how many rooms are refurbished in the new manner. The rooms out group had were the orange colour type. They are comfy and clean, but it could be time for refurbishment.

Do not like the old rooms (asked for modern style, but according to staff everything was full), overall impression do not meet with the nice pictures on booking.com, food in restaurant and breakfast were ok (but nothing memorable)

Breakfast was significantly better in quality and diversity than average in hotels. The room was really big and comfortable - all new and (B building). Interior was new, clean and tasteful. And suitable for people with allergies and asthma.

The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good.

Eventhough the room & bathroom were clean, the smell of sewage was intense after entering the room. Probably due to the bathroom not being used for some time. This should have been checked by the staff before checking in clients.
