Exceptional Stay at Hotel Riviera! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Riviera. It exceeded all of our expectations from the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. Staff: The staff are the heart of this hotel. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, they made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and with a smile. The housekeeping staff maintained impeccable cleanliness of our room which by the way was also fantastic with its beach/sea views. Weather: The weather was perfect with sunny warm days and a nice sea breeze, making it ideal to enjoy the hotel’s stunning outdoor spaces. Whether lounging by the pool or strolling through the beautifully landscaped gardens. Dining (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner): The culinary offerings were a highlight of our stay. Breakfast featured everything from fresh pastries and fruits to made-to-order omelets etc. Lunch was equally delicious, with a range of various dishes that used fresh ingredients and creative presentation. Dinner was also an experience—elegant, flavorful, and served in a number of beautifully designed restaurants. The chefs are masters of their craft! Facilities: The pools were pristine with comfortable sun loungers and attentive staff offering refreshments. The gym was well-equipped, and the recreational activities provided a perfect balance of entertainment and relaxation. Hotel Riviera offers luxury, comfort, and impeccable service and we I cannot wait to return in 2025.

We were one of a hand full of guests for its opening week so portions of the resort were not yet in service. As a wonderful substitute, the resort provided free ala carte meals including daily room service! It was almost like having a private chef and was an experience that will live in our memories! A special mention of fantastic manager, Hady who diligently watched over us daily.

The bay is congested during the day with excursion boats (not the resort's fault) but fortunately we got used to them.

We had a truly amazing stay at Jaz Elite Riviera. The hotel is absolutely beautiful-modern, luxurious, and spotlessly clean. Our swim-up room was the highlight: peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing right outside our door. The atmosphere of the entire hotel was calm and elegant, and the staff were consistently helpful, kind, and professional-always making sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved the restaurant by the pool-it became our go-to place each day. The food, the setting, and the service there made every meal feel special. Overall, it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we’ve had. We felt truly taken care of and would come back without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway.

Brand new property, very beautiful. The big swimming pool for adults only is a plus, the beach offers absolutely stunning diving. We saw turtles and a dugong! After 10 am you will see 10-20 tourist boats come near the hotel for diving. The staff always asks for feedback, are very helpful and try their best. The yoga, pilates or stretching classes on the beach are amazing. The food is very good quality, the buffet and asian a la carte is the best.

Very loud due to children and selfish parents. Would appreciate if the hotel dedicated an adults only section to the buffet restaurant to have some quiet for dinner. The noise and kids running around make the hotel feel more cheap. There is an “adults only” pool in the hotel which saved our vacation, because the main pool is just too full of screaming kids and you cannot get any rest… The cocktails are made from local alcohol, but that isn’t too much of a problem.

It was clean, brand new and everything was so organised.

We had a fantastic week over Easter break! We came back to Egypt after 10y and our stay exceeded the expectations! The hotel is brand new, with many restaurants, pools, activities. Waiters at all restaurants were very kind, quick and helpful. Employees at reception were very useful and ready to help at any moment with any kind of question. Animation was also good with many offers for every age. What positively impressed me the most is: -very nice garden with plants and flowers very nicely maintained. -All furniture (reception, restaurants, pools, beach) was very nice and with an elegant touch.

As a constructive feedback I would recommend to improve the wines. “House wine” was unfortunately really not good and the choice of wine by extra charge limited. It would be very nice to have an EU (Italian, French) wine list (of course by extra charge) that includes champagne because during holiday this is really and added value ;) Beside that, WiFi could be improved (in the room tv was freezing for minutes…). In the gym some heavy weights could be added (the space is fantastic and could easily be improved, eg with a barbell). Those all are just nice “on top” improvements that could elevate even more this nice hotel ;)

What an amazing stay and hotel. I’ll start with the negative, and there’s only one, the beds are very hard and the plastic mattress topper is noisy but that’s the only negative I have about the Riviera, oh and the fact the flight back to the UK doesn’t land till 2am and there’s only one flight a week but this obviously isn’t the hotels fault. The hotel and staff were incredible, the food was unbelievably good and the weather equally as good. We stayed at the Amara last year so decided to try the Riviera this year and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment booking the hotel Hady was brilliant replaying to our messages and sorting us out the most incredible swim up room. We ate at the beach restaurant every breakfast and lunch and the team there were fantastic, I just want to say ‘cheers mate’ to Ibrahim from the restaurant who really looked after us all week. We already knew how good snorkelling in the bay was, and on the last mornings snorkel we got to see the dugong!! Well def be coming back

The hotel is newly opened, and everything is still new. Everything was at a high standard. It was our first time in Egypt, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. No one at the hotel asked for a 'baksheesh,' and the staff were professional, respectful, and never pushed services repeatedly. Everyone was polite. We tried all the restaurants the hotel offers, and the quality of the food was amazing. The hotel explicitly states the dinner dress code in advance, but some guests ignored it and showed up in hoodies, flip-flops, and sweatpants. My recommendation for the hotel is to continue maintaining its high standard of service, otherwise, it will become just an ordinary hotel.

The only issue was the weak Wi-Fi connection. We used the travel agent services at the hotel and booked a trip to Luxor through them. I wouldn’t recommend using this service, as the price did not reflect the quality of the offered services.

It was my first stay in a all inclusive resort. The hotel and the the garden was very beautiful and well kept. Eventhough i think it is a bit crazy having such a colourful garden in dry country like egypt. I liked how the sunbeds specially at the pool were placed between plants, so it never felt crowded. It was very peacfull. i enjoyed specally the beach, where you can snorkel with turtles. I even wass lucky to see de Dugong. Sadly a lot of daily tour boats were there as well, and as soon as the dugong appeared a big crowd fallowed him around. The food at the buffet was good, the buffet it self looked very pretty. I enjoyed the Spa Service alot, i had a fantastic full boby massage and a pedicure. Of corse, they want to sell you their service, but they were never to pushy. The staff in generall is friendly, some were specially friendly and happy to help, others could need a bit more motivation. All in all i had a great stay, very relaxing and i would stay there again if i`m back in Port Ghalib

The hotel is beautifully designed, and really nicely furnished. We stayed in a family room with pool access - it's not so much a private pool, because it's shared with a few other rooms, but you have a section of it to yourself. The hotel was opened just a few weeks ago, so it was almost entirely empty. Everyone was super nice and friendly, especially Ahmend and Khalifa in the beach bar! Location is excellent - directly in front of the hotel there is an underwater meadow, which brings turtles and sea cows in every day, there's a diving centre on the beach and the reef can be found a short swim away to the edge of the bay.

The room was close to the other hotel and there was some ventilation noise that made it impossible to open the window at night. We didn't get the full experience of the hotel because it was largely empty - no buffet breakfast, only one buffet dinner (which was thrown together ad-hoc when a bunch of tourists had their flight cancelled). That being said, the a la carte meals were excellent, and we had full access to the buffet in two nearby hotels.
