Chef Ahmed is amazing, really is a fundamental part of the hotel experience. All staff is super friendly and great (some maybe a bit too friendly, but I get it, it is the culture) Food’s great, shops close by, the beach is literally right next door. Ash from the restaurant is also very respectful. Marcelo from the tours at the reception, amazing guy and the dive shop next to the hotel, wonderful dive center, it is indeed wonderful

Excelent location. This resort has the best located beach in Port Ghalib. Straight from the beach you can go snorkelling, swimming etc. Beach is well protected from the strong winds. Food - really good in all aspects. It does not always look amazing but it is always fresh and very good tasting. For a canteen not bad at all. But dont expect expensive restaurant style. It's still an Egyptian style resort with a canteen for a lot of people. Staff - always nice and very friendly. We got nice room upgrade and early check in for no extra charge. They really work hard to make you feel like home and welcome. Almost nothing is a problem. Animations by the pool and beach with cheap dance music - annoying. But most people seem to like it.

Loud electronic dance music by the big pool. You cant really relax, read a book etc when the animations are happening. So you gotta plan properly if you wanna avoid these banging sessions. Same goes for the beach. Also what I dont like is that beach and pool bars close at 5PM. Usually they start running out of ice, drinks, ice-cream, food at around 4:30. The cocktails are a joke. Mojito is from mint sirup, no fresh herbs. Pinacolada is also from a sirup. They dont serve or sell any fresh juices. Its all sirup based, artificial and very sweet. However the food is usually nice with plenty of healthy choices. Dont expect plain burger and chips.

Are You Sure !! No EXTRA Charges !! Am I crashed by the happy hour :D I have booked Junior Suite as I want a sea view and actually was more than satisfied with its size as I'm solo traveler, but just wanna a view. That is why I asked once arrived such simple question to get the better view specially I'm a photographer. I have never ever to expect when Mr. Mohamed the receptionist to tell me Mr. Ehab we have upgraded your reservation to the Premium Suite. Since then I realized that my holiday gonna be PERFECT :). So Here we go >>> * Location * Marsa Alam is not touristic town such as Hurghada. it's a Highway road for almost 100 KM long while resorts exist along this road. So the fact is NO city to discover or walk around. However Port Ghalib could be a bit different as it's on a small touristic port where is a short walking area by night, Multiple of nice restaurants, cafes along this walking distance, they organize LIVE music events. Hakuna Matata cafe is the most vibrant and bring sweet & elegant atmosphere by its amazing night events. * Room * Unbelievable wide, 2 bathrooms, one is private in the bedroom, full kitchen, food table, living room, huge terrace with direct Port view, The bed is too wide and comfortable. the interior was great and I loved the drawing photo farms on the wall. * Restaurant * Unlike other reviews, the food varieties was supper. There are basic items exist daily, while each day has a different restaurant theme, Italian, Ascian, Oriental, International, Sea Food. Although I don't like Sushi, I have tried many and liked many pieces. Seafood was good, Grilled Shrimps were amazing and eat till you die :D. Beside the beach snacks was also nice. * Staff * Friendly is not fair enough to say. Specially the restaurant staff, they are cheerful, happy. ready to serve you and usually like to communicate and joke with you. Receptionists are decent & supportive to solve any issue you could face.

The Animation team was weak. Supposed there is daily schedule activities specially by the beach or the pool, but I don't see them. Only in the day for organizing foam party on the beach. Probably because the hotel guests are lazy :D but that even doesn't not let them to not show up or try to encourage guests to participate. The night show was also so typical but anyway this is mostly normal all over Egypt as most of animations in hotels are weak and outdated :D. Room Service, was good but sometimes they miss to do or replace something in your room, but once you mention they do I love white sauce but unfortunately was not tasty. Otherwise was rated from Good to Excellent.

Any problems, questions or queries and the staff at reception were always available and helpful As I went diving every day I cannot really comment on other facilities such as entertainment etc has did not experience it but from comments from other guests was really good Hotel has a basic equipped gym, which was also used and appreciated

Food in restaurant would benefit from being labelled as to its suitability e.g. vegan, vegetarian or gluten free Personally, the mattress was a little too hard, but the facilities and space of the room compensated for this.

The Marina Resort Port Ghalib is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, the location of our room was excellent as we could walk directly from our terrace to the small pool. The location is perfect, close to the airport but there’s no hindrance from planes at all. The man behind the reception (Mr. F.) was exceptionally nice to us. We stayed here a few days before and after our boat trip. So when we got back after the boat trip, he gave us the same room and a good deal on our upgrade so we could enjoy the buffet dinner in the evening. The buffet diner with a different theme every night was very good! We loved the food, and the service of the men (Mahmoud and M Akram) bringing drinks and cleaning the tables. Breakfast is excellent as well. Then of course we were very happy with Eid, who not only cleaned our room, but left a wonderful artwork of towels (shaped as swans) and flowers on our beds; and placed a bunch of flowers in a glass on our side table. He was a very kind man! If we return to Egypt, we would certainly stay in this hotel again. Thanks for everything, Astrid & Corine

The food (buffet) was good. Because the hotel wasn't busy some food was a little on the cool side. The staff were very attentive. Ali at the pool bar and Mustafa, the bar manager were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. We had a couple of regular waiters (whose names I never got I'm afraid) who were also lovely and helpful.

The showers were cool after 6 pm. We were mainly scuba diving so a hot shower is good, even somewhere as warm as Port Ghalib. If you got back by 4-5 o'clock it was usually fine. We had a huge room, but it looked out on the marina where at night there could be a great deal of noise from singers and other entertainment. That's fine if you don't want an early night!

Food was not good in taste, only at breakfast was a bit better. You will constantly be surrendered by any kind of seller, if you are resting at the beach or pool, there will be always someone trying to sell you services,if you are walking close to restaurants, they will try to convince you to sit and order, if you are walking down the stores streets, they will constantly trying to let you come in stores and buy. Stores prices are ,so far, the highest compared to Giza ,asswan or Luxor, for less better quality, literally a scam. Only exception felici and his friend (the first perfumed store at the beginning of the market street at the opposite side from the beach) , very nice people and a bit better prices.

Our experience at the "Premium Suite - Marina View" was nothing short of exceptional. The Premium Suite was incredibly spacious, with a comfortable living room and beds that were nothing less than heavenly. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time, but to our delight, the staff prepared our room in just 30 minutes without charging extra or us even asking—such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! The same hospitality extended to our late check-out. Once they learned that our ride back to Cairo was scheduled for the evening, they graciously allowed us to enjoy the room until then, ensuring a stress-free end to our stay. A special thanks to Mohammed at the reception desk for his outstanding service! The view from the suite was beautiful, offering a serene outlook over the marina and the boats. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend opting for the all-inclusive deal offered by the hotel — it’s great value and would have made even more sense for us. Unfortunately, we weren’t aware of this option since we booked via Booking.com. The price-to-quality ratio is fantastic, making this a great choice for anyone visiting Port Ghalib. The staff, from receptionists to waiters, were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay both relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for a tranquil and luxurious getaway for couples and/or families.

The music from the bars down the street goes on until around 11:00 PM, which wasn’t a big issue for us but could be for light sleepers or anyone planning an early night. If that’s the case, I’d recommend bringing earplugs for a more peaceful rest. The taxi and trip prices offered by the office inside the hotel aren’t the most competitive. You can find better deals elsewhere in Port Ghalib if you take the time to look around. That said, the hotel’s transportation options are very reliable and trustworthy, which adds a layer of safety since the hotel assumes responsibility for the service. It’s a trade-off between cost and peace of mind.

The room was clean and big, breakfast was delicious, pool was clean and beach had amazing coral reef for snorkeling. Also, the reception staff was very helpful. For example, my flight was at 8pm on the day of check-out, thus I asked the staff if I can spend the day in the Radisson private beach. Not only I was given a beach access for free, but after the beach I was also offered a hotel room to shower and change before the flight. That was a tiny detail that made my day.

The room was above a bar that was playing loud music until 10-11 pm. Some local male staff at the beach was overly intrusive and came to chat despite me telling that I am fine and need no help of any sort. It was almost going the direction of harassing and probably was related to the fact that I was a woman travelling alone. The room key card was demagnetising after one day of use and I had to go to the reception to magnetise it again.
