🌟 A stay that truly exceeded our expectations We stayed at this hotel during a challenging time, as my wife unexpectedly fell ill. The staff went above and beyond to support us — showing genuine care, flexibility, and compassion. When we needed to extend our stay by an extra night, they immediately stepped in and made everything easy for us. Beyond the excellent service, the accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located — ideal for exploring Freiburg and its surroundings. We cannot emphasize enough the kindness, professionalism, and solution-oriented attitude of the staff. This hotel is more than just a place to stay — it’s a place where people truly make a difference.

Strategic location: the city center is easily accessible by tram. The room was clean and quiet. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because it was too expensive, but there’s an excellent café next door offering a wide variety of sweet and savory options.

Unfortunately, parking reservations are not possible, which is rather inconvenient for a property of this type. There is a paid parking lot in front of the hotel, but the rates are hourly, and the only payment machine (cash only!) provides instructions in German only.

The family room, though not large, provided enough space for several suitcases. Although the hotel does not have a full-service restaurant (breakfast only), there is an excellent bakery next door and an Aldi's supermarket on the other side. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is available in a spotlessly clean lot under the building with elevator access to the rooms.

The hotel promotes its "feng shui" design concept, and for the most part this works well, but the bathroom suffers from the trendy design choice to enclose only half the shower stall, meaning that water goes all over the place. The location is a fair distance from the town center, and there are no restaurants within easy walking distance.

New, great design, good facilities. Amazing reception, many thanks for Katerina for all her effort to make our stay comfortable! Bakery next door, great Italian restaurant a bit further. Hotel is obviously out of the center, but the district is nice with all the shops around. Our room was a bit bigger than others, as it was the “corner” one. We also had a crib for the baby for free, which is amazing.

The breakfast looked various, but it was from all the cheapest ingredients. Really not tasty, highly recommend going to the nearby bakery instead. Checking was delayed by more than an hour.

Hotel Libertas Elements Pure is more of a 4 star boutique hotel, situated in easy to find location in Freiburg im Breisgau, staff were superb on arrival, I wanted to use their electric charger for my car, and charge point 1 was available on arrival, they only have a small number, we got lucky, the car park is 50m around the corner, the underground parking garage does not have e charging. we checked into a nice boutique larger room, shower room superb, separate WC sleep quality was excellent, although we did not use the bar, the breakfast in the morning was plentiful buffet style, superb, in morning car was charged up and ready to go, could not ask for a better stay, staff speak english..great stay.

We enjoyed this new hotel outside of Freiburg. They had a great staff and parking was available downstairs. The room was great, quiet and well equipped. However, there was no kettle in the room or refrigerator. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood with a street car and bus line a block away/Aldi is right next door and there is a good bakery and great Italian restaurant nearby. The breakfast is very good and quite complete at this hotel. The lobby bar is great for coffee and drinks.

A refrigerator and a kettle in the room would be helpful.

Excellent all in all experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, the stuff was helpful and friendly, and there is a safe private underground parking in the property. There was a variety of options for breakfast and everything was fresh and delicious. It is very easily accessible by car, I am not sure however how it would be for someone without a car. Totally recommend it and I hope we will revisit this hotel!

Room was cozy, albeit the decorations on the wall were weird - they looked like black stains and I am not sure how this relates to be a feng shui hotel

Reception staff looked young and inexperienced. There were 2 girls sitting behind the reception who looked like friends of one of the receptionists and that was weird. Also, parking and breakfast are expensive

very good service, reception: polite patient and kind. Room: big, bright, clean, quite, everything looks new and clear, good quality cotton bed sheet, big shower space with good water pressure. Very closes to public transportation, quiet and security neighborhoods. Supermarket, restaurants and bakery are all nearby.

More parkings places will be appreciated.
