The park is lovely, with good view over the lake. Fairly close to tram stop so good links to town. Part of the photography festival, in comfortable lobby. Lovely reception staff, very helpful. The refreshments by reception are a nice touch and very welcome after exploring the city all day.

Would have preferred a kettle in the room rather than the dysfunctional coffee machine. I’m British so I drink tea, which is needlessly much harder to make with a coffee machine! Bathroom is desperately old, tired and dirty… let’s the room down and in need of an update (walk in shower, new tiles, deep clean, working extractor fan, etc). Poor food offering. The ‘tarte’ was more like a bland pizza, disgusting and flavourless.

Nice location on the edge of a large park and overlooking a small lake. Reasonably easy to get into centre of town on the tram and the football stadium was within walking distance. The hotel was nice and well presented, although not exceptional. The breakfast was very good, although was an extra cost.

The price was very high given the standard of hotel, I hope this was driven up by the Euro 2024 tournament, as it wasn't worth that in normal times. The breakfast buffet was very good, but at an extra cost. Annoyingly, we were challenged 3 times as to whether we had signed to pay for the breakfast. The staff were not very organised on that morning.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, and our receptionist, Amore, was incredibly kind and helpful. It was our first visit to Cologne, and we were thrilled that our room offered a stunning view of the lake. The hotel also has its own paid parking area, which made it so convenient to leave the car and take a short walk to the nearby tram station for easy access to the city center. Breakfast was amazing—definitely one of the best we’ve ever had! The food was so delicious, and we enjoyed it while taking in the beautiful lake view. In the evening, we also had a great time at the hotel bar, relaxing with a friend over drinks. The walls are a bit thin, so you might hear other guests if they're being particularly loud or "enthusiastically engaged" (if you catch my drift), but thankfully, it didn’t last long. Our stay was wonderful! The room felt luxurious and was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. To top it off, there was a charming mini Christmas market in the park just behind the hotel, which made the experience even more special. I truly had so much fun and loved every moment of our visit!

Convenient location for our needs; easy access from/to the highway, close to public transport (tram, bus) for the centre of the city (20min). Beautiful area near a small lake. NIce, quite spacy airconditined room. Comfortable beds. Big wardrobe. Elektric kettle, fridge. Spacy, very well equiped bathroom. Excellent breakfast; great variety, very good qualty (one exception, the croissants). Many cofee choices as well. Efficient and helpfull staff.

The croissants were stale (or frozen/thawed?) all three days; it was the only dissapoinment in an otherwise excellent breakfast. Expensive parking. Only one socket near the bed. Strange arrangment of electric sockets in the room You had to swich on the light in the entrance in order to use the socket near the window (?!!) Wi-fi connection was good but if you use a laptop, you have to reset it every time you connect and this is uncomfortable.

good location for our needs, comfortable beds, fresh towels, daily, a delightful restaurant, and exceedingly helpful and friendly staff.

The tub shower has a high side to step over and there are no rubber strips in the tub or rubber mat provided so it can be difficult to maneuver in and out without slipping. also, we expressed a preference for Stillwater, but kept getting bottles of fizzy water.

We had a room with a lake view. It was beautiful. We loved that the hotel property was surrounded by nature, yet convenient to the stadium and city center. The staff was extremely helpful. There are city train stops within a 5 minute walk, restaurants and cafes are nearby. If you are traveling with children there is a nature park close by with deer and sheep. The kids can feed the animals. It was free to enter.

It is a nice hotel with a warm welcoming staff. We got an early check in and a better room with a lake view. In the room a complimentary bottle of water, koffie and pantoffels. Lots of pillows in de bed , very nice.

Before we got there we wrote and called there for information but we had no answer and nobody answered the telephone. The breakfast was oke but not what I expected for the price (no fresh juice for example). But they had champagne. To park 16 euros.

We stayed there for ten days and based on that we could go again. The hotel and the room were clean. The room and lifts were a bit compact as we had wheelchair. There was a problem with the minifridge but as we mentioned about it to the staff the problem was solved within a couple of hours by totally new minifridge - very efficient! The breakfast was good for example with variety of fruits, bread, cheese, cold cut, tomato, bacon and eggs and of course bratwurst. The breakfast hall had a lovely view to the park pond, and probably also the rooms on that side of the building. The location next to the city park was great. We had every day a little stroll in different routes in the park. Nearby there was also small domestic animal park and food market apparently once a week. Also bus connections to the city centre were good. Normally there would be also a tram but this time the route was under construction. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent for us, I didn't want to drive and park in the city centre and this location has excellent public transport options, especially a frequent and quick tram to the city centre. So the location made for a very easy and stress-free entrance and exit from Koeln for a foreign visitor. Good shopping nearby in Durener Strasse. A clean and comfortable room, not overly spacious, but as you'd expect. Lovely views over the lake and park right at the back of the hotel, you can walk straight out into the beautiful park. Very good breakfasts and dinner here was good too - and the restuarant overlooks the lake and park, with lots of outdoor seating for a beer and quiet contemplation. Plenty of parking for hotel guests. Restaurant and front desk staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Hallway carpets and some of the furnishings (e.g. the bedroom cupboard) were looking a bit 'tired'. A minor quibble, I'd still very happily stay here again.

Lovely property, it was particularly well located to go by foot to the conference center. Amazing very friendly stuff, ready to help you with anything. I got upgraded, to a room with an amazing and peaceful view of the lake with swans and the park

The restaurant was temporarily not operating due to works, so it wasn’t possible to get dinner, except for a pizza or a soup.
