We stayed in the cube (room 54) which was really unique and had great views. We enjoyed the balcony. The staff was also extremely helpful. I rented a bike from them a few times which was simpler than going to a shop. They also helped my group get a taxi to the train station. The location is fantastic, very cool neighborhood with lots of cafes and bars.

The cube has its downsides - mainly light and heat coming in. There are custom curtains but in the summer it still gets light early. It was quite warm while we were there and the mini split AC can only do so much. But airing out the room in the evening with the windows open helped - we were still able to sleep well. Just don’t expect to spend all day in the room comfortably in the summer.

Nice little hotel in a busy street of cologne. There was an issue with my booked room not being available for the first day, the staff apologised and offered me another room. I actually ended up liking this replacement room much more than the one I had originally booked and the staff said it would not be a problem if I just kept the replacement room for the week, which I did. For the inconvenience of the mishap they offered me free breakfast for the week, unfortunately I chose not to get up early enough any of the days to take advantage of the that so I can’t rate the breakfast. The staff are attentive and kind.

The WiFi was a bit slow as somebody from a country with high speed internet pretty much everywhere, but that is just a thing in Germany so not really the fault of the hotel. Although I did enjoy my room that was right on the corner of the street, it can get loud and bright in the mornings. Room could do with blackout blinds / curtains

The best thing was the location - 20 meters to the UA passport service (so needed for me), and the reception was super helpful and friendly. The room? It was ok, totally fine for 3 people. Coffee pads in the room were great plus. And the bath - definitely a plus.

The only thing that was a huge minus - breakfast. When I made my booking it said ''very good breakfast''. When I moived in, I was told that the kitchen did not work, but there will be breakfast. Well, it was literally one man (another one came later) cooking for everyone. Luckily there were only 5 of us so we waited only (only) 20min. But, even though being tasteful, the breakfast was rather poor - 3 types of small bread, 3 types of eggs (either boiled, scrambled or fried), cheese or ham and fruit salad. That was the breakfast that costs 16 EUR. I believe it should have been notified in advance for the visitors...

Almost all good. I had a single room and it was perfectly fine but it was a very hot 30 degree centigrade outside and the room didn't have aircon or a fan so was very hot and uncomfortable. In normal weather the room would have been fine. Tiny and very slow lift to get to 4th floor but never had a problem waiting for it. Had a bit of a faff with reception on leaving as charged me for city tax that I had already paid - on checking my reservation after paying i realised i had paid it already and went back to get refund. Nice cafe attached to hotel. I would stay here again but in colder weather.

No aircon in my room.

The location of the hotel is pretty good. The single room was surprisingly big i have to say, as well was the bed. There was a minibar in the room, enough space for the luggage. Check in and check out was quick and sufficient. The lady / gentleman at reception was very friendly and explained everything clear.

If u have a light sleep i would recommend ear plugs as the traffic could be heard. Unfortunately i was awaken by chairs and or tables beeing moved in the restaurant below. Had my room on the first floor.

The location was great. Having the cafe downstairs was super convenient.

We had a spectacular room (54). No complaints. But the mattress was a rock and the pillows thin and did not provide enough support for a side sleeper. Also, the room did not have enough electrical outlets for charging electronics. Had to unplug lamps to use our adapters. We had to put the hot water kettle on the floor to plug it in and use it. Not very safe and sanatery.

Close to Rudolphplatz, nearby to everything going on in Köln, especially evening and nightlife, but also a center hub for transportation all over the city. It’s located on a nice calm and cozy square, just one block away from where the magic happens. Nice clean rooms, very polity, friendly and helpful staf 24/7 there for your needs. I was very happy to find here a stay that feld safe and welcome like a second home.

Nothing bad comes to my morgen nd. My first night was in a room with shared bathroom, as agreed. And even the bathroom was fine to the smallest details.

Had a room on the fourth floor with a balcony, it was wonderful, calm intersection made for a nice relaxing view and breakfasts on the balcony. Highlight of the stay! + mini fridge is a must when staying for a few days and can store some food, Fridge, Tea and Coffee maker and the balcony were all the reasons I booked the room in the first place. But the beds were firm and very comfortable in my opinion. The room was spacious and cozy.

Water in the shower was often switching from hot to cold to hot, it was uncomfortable especially cuz when it was hot, it was scalding hot. The bathroom can use a few more hooks to hang the towels. The one they had by the sink fell off when I hang a towel on it. Also, it would have been nice to have black out curtains on all the windows, but one window didn't have it, so it would get very brights in the mornings.

The place is located in the Belgian quarter and it's actually of art historical significance. Except for the nice reference in terms of name to Chelsea Hotel in NY. Which was the joke which made me book a room - that and the affordable price - I also got to later on remember that the hotel and its associated café have been the hangout of a well known german painter. The pictures and posters on the walls should have also been a tip. But I realised it later on! :) The staff was gracious enough to cue me to this. But even if it would have been just a matter of facilities, I can attest that all is cozy, clean and friendly.

The central location was also a little lively and noisy on weekend nights. This ended around midnight and wasn't too bad, but might bother some.
