I absolutely loved my stay at NunoHotel in Cologne. The location is absolutely perfect. You can explore the city when you like on foot no need to public transport or taxi. The hotel is very cosy. Everything you need is right there. The reception area is beautiful and arranged to accommodate any needs. They even nave a beautiful children play area, and Cody place to serve breakfast, rest, work and serve foot that you may have bought it outside the hotel. I am not a breakfast person so I cannot comment of that, but the last day I wanted to have a coffee and the lady at the bar made it with so much love and the coffee was superb. The staff went way out of their way, above and beyond with their kindness and care. It was like wow. I really felt I came to stay at friends not at a hotel. They were friendly, supportive, warm, kind and at the same time professional and very efficient and effective. The entire place and my room were very clean. The WiFi was perfect as I needed to do some work. Also very easy to access not with long passwords that are challenging to get right. They have a way to access it that is easy and straightforward without having to give all your details. I love it. The room was very clean. Everything I needed was there and more. The attention to details is absolutely great. I highly recommend this hotel and I will book there again when I will visit Cologne again.

The hotel is in a great location if you are looking to be active and explore restaurants and the nightlife. There are two tram stops that can take you either back to the station or out to the Western suburbs. They are both adjacent to the hotel. The staff were wonderful and very kind and even kept my bag for a few hours after I checked out. There are so many restaurants and places to eat and drink. Some of these are simple or you can get a meal for 5:00 to 8 euros, anothers are expensive. The University is close by, and I went running in the park that was only about a 5 minute walk away. There are grocery stores, little kiosks and bakeries within 50 to 100 m. Also, a McDonald's is right across the street.

It was not a problem for me, but the area is lively and busy. Some people may be bothered by noise if they have a street facing room.

The hotel was clean and the staff super friendly and helpful! We had booked parking and it was easy to find and by the hotel. We enjoyed the decor of the hotel. And for the price we paid, and if you are only staying a night or two is a great option. There are limited amenities in the rooms but the hotel has small fridges available in an area you can use and has coffee for sale. The location is great, there are any shops you need close by, public transport and walkable to the city center. We had booked 2 large rooms which offered enough space, bathrooms are always a bit small in hotels but this we could deal with, it had everything you need.

Check-in time at 11am is quite rare, and Nuno hotel offers it, which was a clear selling point for me. Although in my case it wasn’t possible and I had to wait until 1pm. The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. The lobby and reception remind you of a boutique hotel, although it is not, but the vibe is definitely there. The room was tiny and quite simple, but no complaints given the price. A little Portuguese coffee shop is a nice addition - they have pasteis de nata and other treats on offer. It’s beautifully decorated, and offers space for working at your laptop (which was lacking in my room, due to a somewhat unstable stool - the only seating option). A fridge at the lobby is available to store your belongings - and you get a key for it, which is definitely very convenient. Overall, unbeatable value/price, and a superb location.

The only issue is a hanging door to the bathroom that doesn’t give you much privacy, in case you share your room.

This hotel is not located in the centre of Cologne, but south of the centre, which was very convenient for my trip (attending an event nearby). It is at a junction of several tram lines, so it’s easy to get anywhere in the city. Köln Sud train station is an easy walking distance away, if you’re coming by train from the airport. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English – of course. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Free coffee on arrival was a bonus 👍

The shower room was small, though adequate and well-equipped.

The location is very good. You can go the city center in 15 minutes by walking. Also there is a tram just near the hotel. The breakfast was perfect, with a variety of fresh and local products. There is a machine that you can use to grab hot drinks for 24 hours, and I really like this. The hotel was very safe and convenient for solo travelers, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The price was also very reasonable for the quality and comfort of the rooms.

Definitely the pillows. They are extremely soft.

Room was spacious and clean. I opted for a twin room on arrival, as there was an air conditioning unit and the temperature in Cologne was very warm. Location is great. The staff, particularly the lady on Reception, was very helpful, and always supplied me with a nice G&T after a long day at Gamescom. Thank you, I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel was very easy to reach via public transportation. As I was travelling with a baby that was very important to me. The staff were super nice and the breakfast was awesome.

The only thing that I did not like it was the window in my bedroom. I had the impression it was not fully isolated and I felt cold at night.

I enjoyed my 2 nights stay and which felt very comfortable.The room was super small but to be honest also super clean & comfortable. I was lucky to have a room with a very nice view. The staff were helpful and willing to support any requests I had. Also in all honesty I loved the breakfast, it was of great quality, many varieties and a convivial atmosphere.

Like I said the room is maybe a little bit extra small so sometimes I had difficulty finding space for my bag or to put some of my belongings next to my bed (like my laptop). But overall I am satisfied.
