Big room, very comfy beds Close to the city centre and the Christmas markets Excelent breakfast

The heating system did not work, fortunately we did not spend a lot of time in the room, but it was pretty cold. There was a lot of mold in the bathroom

I would say just perfect but would like to give some details who are interested to read my comment. 1- Location of Hotel is close to train station located in very calm area (Except weekends) for those who would like to go out at night,no hotel can take place of this hotel.Windows are blocking all noise so outside noise do not interfere. 2- Room is very big,beds are very comfortable,Shower is amazing,You can adjust temperature of digitally and buttons are very useful,shower hea is attached to ceiling so it is very convinient. 3- Breakfast is perfect,fruits are very fresh,coffee is tasty,Milk which they use inside coffee machine is very delicious,Lactose free yoghurt is best yoghurt i have eaten in my life.A lot of bread choices as well as very tasty swiss cheeses. 4- Staff is highly motivated,especially they are very well organized for breakfast time and working very disciplined,helpful and never say no to basic requests. If i come to cologne,i wouldn't choose another hotel.

Wardrobe was missing in the room.

We arrived in Cologne at the beginning of the worst heat wave in city history (it hit 102F on our last day there). The hotel room was a respite of brilliant air-conditioning when we weren't running around the city looking at Romanesque churches (there are 12 in Cologne!!). The room was large and had plenty of space for us to unpack our things. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was sumptuous. The location was slightly removed from the hubbub of the cathedral area, which we really appreciated. The staff was fantastic. I made a request, and it was immediately tended to. We would definitely return here.

The hotel is great starting with arhitecture and then with location and comfort ! Big room with an amazing double bed and pillows and a big bathroom. Very clean, quiet ,good internet. Tasty breakfast but basic food. Very close with a great shopping area and nice restaurants. From the Koln airport you have to take train S 19 to Hansaplatz. Then you go down and take the metro U12 or U15 to Friesenplatz. You go out and in 50 m is the hotel ! It takes 25 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport !

The refill of the breakfast could be faster ! And for the hot water in the shower you have to find the best temperature because is with buttons ! It takes long time ! At 41 degrees comes cold water but at 36 is warmer !

Lovely place to stay in Cologne. Spacious room, modern bathroom, excellent breakfast with allergy friendly options, and wonderful and professional staff, who really made an effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Good location close to UBahn in nice area. We also enjoyed the special themes and art etc. on the different floors of the hotel. We would be happy to stay here again.

The only thing that we found problematic was the sliding glassdoor to the bathroom. The door rattled in a noisy way when we opened it. If one of us used the bathroom during the night, the other would wake up because of the door's noise.

Once again, Lindner Hotel came through and did not disappoint! 🥰 While the room I had this time was a bit smaller than the one I stayed in at the Düsseldorf branch, it still offered all the comfort and charm I’ve come to expect from Lindner. That king-size bed? A dream. So soft, so cozy, I could’ve stayed wrapped in those blankets forever! I absolutely love how each floors had their own unique themes, it’s such a thoughtful touch that makes exploring the hotel itself a little adventure. And oh, the rain shower! Now, I’ll admit the water pressure was epic, like a waterfall, unlike my experience I had in Düsseldorf, but it was still refreshing and relaxing at the Düsseldorf branch. I did miss the sky bar from the Düsseldorf location, but the bar at the Köln branch was still a great spot to unwind. Shoutout to Marcel, the bartender, super knowledgeable and knows how to craft a proper drink. 🍸🙌🏾 The staff were just fantastic, so friendly and helpful across the board. But a special thank you goes to Nadiem at the front desk. He went above and beyond! Incredibly polite, always helpful, and full of spot-on local tips for exploring Köln. Lindner, if you’re reading this, give this man a raise. He’s a true asset to your team! 🌟 In fact, thanks to Nadiem’s top-notch hospitality (and yes, that magical bed again), I’ve already started rebooking another weekend stay this weekend coming up. I can’t wait to return! I took a few photos during my stay, but confession time, I didn’t make it to breakfast. I was out living my best life into the early morning hours, and when I came back, there were still 30 minutes before breakfast opened. I thought, “Let me just rest a little…” Next thing I knew, I was waking up from what I can only describe as a cloud-riding coma. That bed is no joke. 😴☁️ The location of the hotel is perfectly central—walking distance to shopping, bars, clubs, restaurants, and major attractions. Super convenient for exploring the city on foot!

The garage, though, was a bit tight, getting in and out took some Mario Kart-level skills. 🚗💨 It would be helpful if guests were also given a heads-up about how to find the garage entrance ramp, I ended up parking in the public garage to check in, and then found out the hotel had it's garage was under the hotel. That said, a really good discount wouldn’t hurt for the thrill, right? 😄

Breakfast choice was excellent - hot and cold options. Large room with a comfortable double bed The hotel is not located in the super touristy part of town near the cathedral but is close to an area with pedestrianised shopping street and more local bars and restaurants

The room was VERY hot at night and temperature was centrally controlled - the only option was to put the fan on but that didn't do very much. I was very hot all night and didn't use the duvet The water pressure in the shower was disappointing for a 4 star hotel - not very powerful at all

The location and breakfast was excellent. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Short walk to the train station and shopping district.

We couldn't close the bathroom door last night. Apparently the door slid open and broke. Staff offered to move us but it was really late. We were too tired to pack out belongings. We learned that it was not an unusual problem. They should return to hinge doors rather than heavy fancy rolling glass doors or come up with a better solution due to the price of the rooms. Plus, there were too many amenities in the room which we did not know what was an extra fee and what was not. Maybe offer a list which guests can order from versus leaving it all in the room. It took up too much space.

A lovely, plush hotel, perfectly located, & with comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent, & the bar lively.

The bath towels could be larger, no washcloths are provided, & the fee for room service (in addition to the food) is €10.

The hotel is very nice which provides a very exquisite and great variety of food for breakfast. The staff are really nice and helpful. When it was time for us to leave, they even booked the taxi for us to ensure we arrived on time at the airport.

Nothing to complain about.
