Excellent location, mostly residential with several restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets within short walking distance. Close to public transport and easy to get to the Hauptbahnhof and city centre. River walk close-by. Rooms with kitchenette very convenient especially for younger families. The box with kitchen utensils & crockery as well as dishwashing liquid & sponge were very useful. Washing machine & dryer in the basement are a guest-friendly addition. Enjoyed relaxing on the balcony facing the inner courtyard.

Detailed description of how to work the hob would have been useful (linked to sliding doors of the kitchenette!). Bath towels far too small, they were clean but had a very unpleasant smell, unfortunately.

Location ideal for Sendlinger HP8 Cultural Centre, Underground trains and bus services. Staff helpful and spoke English if needed. Very comfortable room which included a room safe which was handy for storing any valuables. There was also a micro-wave oven and electric hob, but oddly no utensils or crockery to facilitate cooking which was my only negative point. Room was on the ground floor with a Patio door out to a pleasant outdoor garden with seating area where smoking was permitted. A very relaxed stay.

No provision of utensils or crockery to enable use of micro-wave and electric hob which seemed a bit odd. A little disappointed that no evening meals were available despite a very well appointed bar and dining area.

Leonardo hotel is a classic in its category. The room was clean, quiet, functional, pleasant. The breakfast had the standard spectrum of offerings. The cereals were not at the top but they were always available and acceptable. It took some time to figure out how to get hot water (the mechanism of the super modern tap was not intuitive. Trying to get an espresso macchiato was a challenge - the machine does not have it as an option.

I liked the size of the hotel. The attention from the personnel. The cozyness of the room. The parking, albeit as small as possible was a perfect add-on for the winter weather.

We paid extra to have our room face the backyard. We had a nice terrace and it was quiet at night. The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway stop Brudermühlstraße. Breakfast was extremely good - very Bavarian.

300 Euros per night were definitely overpriced.

The room was spacious. The communication with the hotel was fine. It's located very close to the U-bahn station. Only a few stops to Marienplatz. The room came with a kitchenette with a microwave which was useful when travelling with a toddler. The windows can be open which was nice to get some fresh air. Access from the airport was good as well.

It would have been useful to have a few plates and cutlery but I guess it's a standard approach in Europe not to equip a room with these.

It’s the perfect distance to the trains, local shops, markets, & it’s one train (like 5 stops away) from Marienplatz (city center). The price was very reasonable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Would certainly stay again. Also I think there is a bus to take you to other locations. I saw this bus after we left so I don’t know where it traveled to.

I use washcloths to wash my face. They do not supply those but it’s noted on the site so I brought my own.

Ideal location for me, with a Ubahn station nearby and family living just one stop away. Easy access to city centre too. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The room was great, very clean and tidy with a small balcony overlooking the garden. Appreciated the large bottle of water, replenished every day. Thoughtful design, especially the bathroom, and I loved the mini kitchen.

A small thing, and I know this is normal in Germany, but I didn’t like having the 2 small duvets instead of one big one.

There was construction on the metro lines U3/U6, and it was quite difficult to reach downtown. We needed to take a bus first and then the subway, but no one from the hotel told us that. So, our first trip to downtown was quite confusing because we expected to travel five stops by subway, but after three stops, the subway went back.

Extremely quiet room (facing an inner courtyard), with very comfortable beds. The temperature was just right and it could be adjusted anyway. There was a free bottle of water, which was a nice touch, coffee capsules and teabags. The room had a mini-kitchen with sink, stove and coffee machine. I don't think I've ever slept so well in a hotel. Just a few steps away from Gasteig HP8 and the Isarphilharmonie, and practically on top of the U3 metro station. Great value for money.

Facilities! Sauna and Steam room - unexpected: really luxurious. Even had cooking facilities and micro plus fridge and all the usual stuff in the room / and a balcony - whoosh! Very quiet and very comfortable.

Not their fault but major refurbishment of restaurant on ground floor, so cannot comment on breakfast/ food etc; but not a problem - just popped down the road and purchased bread etc - supermarket opposite front door and the underground a couple of minutes away.
