Great location, near subway and train stations. Extremely family friendly hostel (our 8 and 10 year olds loved it). Excellent breakfast. Loved that it was not in a very touristy area, but could get to tourist locations easily. Nice restaurants nearby. Very clean and staff was friendly. Staying here was a highlight of our trip and we would definitely go back.

Remember it is a hostel, not a hotel, so you have to make your own bed, and you only get small hand towels. If you want a larger bath towel, you have to pay to rent it. Beds were comfortable but pillows were not. These did not impact our stay though. No A/C but it wasn't too hot when we were there. We still enjoyed staying here, I'm just letting you know to help manage expectations.

It was good. Location is a good 10-12 mins walk from the station, even if they say it’s 5 mins away. The room was okay. We had to put on the bed sheets on & put them back in laundry. No towels were provided, just small napkins. Room was clean and spacious. It had storage space & locker. Luckily our room was on ground floor so didn’t have to walk, but there was an elevator to down to basement for laundry, luggage storage & common toilet. They let us store luggage after checkout for a couple of few hours. The staff were very polite, helpful & always smiling. Breakfast was okay, not many options.

No WIFI at all in the room. Had to go to the main lobby to access the Internet.

GOOD LOCKER SPACE IN THE BASEMENT . NEAR TO METRO 600 METRES . In 15 mins , you are in the main city . Netto and other supermarkets are just 200 metres . Good PIZZERIA and a BAVARIAN RESTAURANT , JUST 100METRES AWAY. NEXT to the CATHOLIC CHURCH. GOOD for FAMILY and FRIENDS . HIGHLY RECOMMEND . VALUE FOR MONEY . IT IS JUST 25 EURO BY TAXI FROM MUNICH CENTRAL STATION . if less luggage , you may use METRO from the central station . It is away from the NOISE of the city but in 15 mins , you can be in the city via METRO . LIKE IT

It's 4 stops away from visiting Oktoberfest by U Bahn, if we're coming back for another visit for Oktoberfest we'll definitely stay here again. Very nice to have breakfast every morning.

We had a twin room with a private bathroom, it's simple but everything works. There's no fridge for guests to store food only for medication. So be aware of this. We had some food with us when we arrived, we had to throw most of them out. The heating system only starts in November as well.

The hostel was located close to public transportation . The location was also in a quiet neighborhood which was peaceful after a long day of traveling. The breakfast selection was delicious and had a good variety especially for myself with lactose intolerance. The courtyard had the yard version of giant chess and connect 4 which challenged the kids to physically play these games instead of virtually. The chickens on the side of the yard was an interesting surprise. The staff were also very helpful through out our stay especially when we needed to find a doctors office for care. They were able to recommend several places that were very close.

I didn't have huge expectations for extreme comfort so I was happy with what was available. Since this was the end of our stay in Germany I understood air conditioning is not common in most buildings and it was getting hotter each day. The mornings were the most comfortable.

The bed was so comfortable and the room had so much natural light. The breakfast was varied and it did have some vegan options. Overall we liked our stay here. It's a good base from where you can explore the city as the subway is really close by.

Apart from some extra guests that were living in our room like a moth, a cohple of small spiders and a deceased fly on the bathroom floor, all was good. We were not bothered by them but some other guest might.

Daily free breakfast was so convenient. Rooms reminded me of college. Overall comfortable bunk beds, locked storage inside the room, two sinks to accommodate multi group. Great location with several places to eat/drink within walking distance. Felt very safe.

Towels are very small but you can pay more for a larger towel. Breakfast is cold items only.

All the staff we encountered spoke various languages, which was very helpful. The room was clean, they provide the sheets which you put on at arrival and remove then deposit into a laundry bin when you leave. The breakfast was varied and they even had multiple vegan options along with soy milk as well. The facilities offered a lot for kids, ours spent a lot of time exploring everything and hanging out with the other kids at the playground. I appreciated that they had a few food offerings for emergencies (nothing fancy) but it helps if hunger strikes. Our room had a body wash dispenser that wasn't expected. They were able to change large bills for us which is hard to do around Europe. The laundry was a great bonus; there's two washers and one dryer about 2-4€ for each, very inexpensive.

On our last night, they did some repair to our shower and we were forced to use the single ones around the facility. We were very upset about this, they could have waited for the following morning, or just told us beforehand but we came back to our room to find the shower taped off. Organizing for 5 people to shower simultaneously in various showers around the facility was a nightmare; mostly because we had young children making the whole experience a very sore spot on an otherwise wonderful experience. Keep in mind there's a church close by so I hope you enjoy the incessant chiming of bells from 7am until about 11pm; it's every 15 minutes BTW.

The room was perfect for what we needed. It wasn't the ideal location but was a very good value for money. The staff could have been a little more cheery/helpful, but they were OK.

There was no hot water on our third day so we couldn't shower or wash. he radiators were kicking out heat, even though it was over 20 degrees outside, so that should have been the other way around!
