It's an IBIS budget hotel so you don't go with huge expectations - it was in fact better than we expected. Friendly, helpful staff greet you on arrival. Rooms are compact but have everything needed. Building is modern and well maintained. Location near the train station is very central and everything Munster has to offer - there is quite a lot, a lovely city centre- is in 5-10 minutes walking distance. Surprisingly, a free breakfast was included in our room rate - continental option only but decent amount of choice and value for money. Decent free wi-fi.

Could clearly hear a conversation in the adjacent room. Fortunately, there was no noise at night as all guests seemed to respect the requests to keep the noise down. Not really a criticism because the hotel tells you before you go. but if you arrive by car you need to park in the adjacent railway station multi-storey car park at a cost of 14 Euros for 24 hours. By the way the exit ramp is very tight and anything bigger than a medium SUV will need very careful handling to avoid unwanted scrapes! Also, nothing to do with the hotel but Munster is one of the many German cities that have a low emissions zone covering the Central area which applies to all vehicles - the hotel and car parking is, I think. outside the LEZ.

Typical Ibis budget, somewhat higher than average, nearly new, comfy and nice overall. Very good location, at the border between the historic center and the more modern part of the city. Close to everything: historic downtown, restaurants, grosseries and all the touristic stuff in 10 minutes by foot. Central railway station 5 minutes walk, moderately priced parking building next door. We drew in by car and it was more than comfortable for such a relatively big city downtown. Surroundings feel safe despite the railway station, which is also look clean and safe per se. Very decent breakfast which is not always the case for Ibis Budget but here it was fairly worth the money.

Perfect affordable solution for a short stay. The bedroom was clean, small but functional. The bathroom was quite big compared to my expectations, and everything was clean. Would certainly recommend it for a short stay that doesn't require a lot of extra comfort.

The pillows and mattress weren't the best but overall it was okay. The temperature in the room was a bit too high and given the good duvet, we had to open the window to compensate (early Dec, around 2 degrees outside). The possibility to set the room temperature would be great, but we found a solution that worked okay

I had a truly nice 2-night stay here. I chose the hotel for its location near the train station, because my plan was to go on day trips by train each day and then leave for the airport by bus that departs from the same train station. The plan worked perfectly. The room was adequate, no complaints. The breakfast was also adequate. (A budget hotel that can boil an egg is wonderful in my opinion!) The receptionist was very nice, she answered my various questions and helped me to find out about the bus to the airport.

The rooms were clean and serviceable and the TV worked well. The breakfast was fine but a little repetitive.

The free WiFi is completely freely accessible (no password at all), so anyone standing in the street would be able to access it. Therefore, I could not use it for work as my company (quite sensibly) does not allow us to log into insecure WiFi with work devices or access work resources. That was very annoying.

The hotel and rooms are very clean, the location is wonderful (right next to the central station and a 7-10 minute walk to the historic center), most staff was friendly. The breakfast is simple, but ok (not enough fruit). Had elevator, new building, outlets next to both beds (allows overnight phone charging), air conditioner. It is better or equal to many 3/4 star hotels except with small rooms and less amenities/toiletries. Design and cleaness are the same or better.

Room was too small for more than one person, no hand towels. I was told that was because it is a budget hotel (that doesn't mean people don't dry their hands). No toiletries, no hair dryer, no mini-fridge. The air conditioner made weird noises throughout the night. No phone in room (had to go down to the lobby in the evening to ask for an extra pillow and was told it was best to do that before 6pm because the staff member was alone. I was then given a pillow without a pillow-case. Other staff were extremely friendly and helpful).

The staff are very friendly and extra-helpful. The breakfast is great - delicious, filling and quite diverse. The hotel is very conveniently located within a walking distance from the historical center and the railway station. Thank you for helping me enjoy my stay in Munster to the fullest

Soft pillows, big hole in towel, more shelves or closet would be nice

Good location near train station, which is what we needed for a quick early morning getaway. Room was very warm and there was a bit too much road noise to have the window open. That was the only slight niggle (other than the headache inducing colour scheme in the hallways!!)

Good location, very near to the station and a short walk to the historic city. Easy to connect to the Promenade, a walking/cycling path which goes right round the city. The hotel was clean & quiet.

Very basic facilities & small room. No additional seating & no kettle etc.
