Staff was friendly. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the range of food was perfect. Something for everyone's taste, especially the bircher muesli which I wanted to purchase but forgot😒 The reception staff was especially friendly. The gentleman on Sunday afternoon duty was very nice. He also checked us in on Saturday. He was kind and gave us vouchers for a drink on the bridge:-) Much appreciated!👌

Only the afternoon cake was not the best. It wasn't fresh and the price was too high for the cake. We also visited the bar on Saturday. Staff was nice but there was a horrible smell in the the alcove on the right side of the bar. Smelt of puke. Sorry, for the negative comment.

The staff were exceptional and went the extra mile to help. I loved the digital shower where you just press the buttons for the perfect temperature. The food was good and the breakfast was outstanding with everything one could possibly want and to a very high standard. I loved the museli although I had yoghurt with a selection of seeds and fruit most days. My room was large and comfortable and there was plenty of room for my dog. I enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna and there is also a small gym. Parking is in an underground garage with access to the hotel. There is a Congress Centre attached to the hotel but this did not effect my stay. A great hotel I would definitely visit again.

The day I left happened to be the Wurzberg marathon so it was a bit difficult getting a taxi to the station (I could have walked but I had 2 heavy bags and the dog). The staff were very helpful getting a taxi for me and getting me to the taxi as the Congress Centre was the endpoint of the marathon and was a reception point for the athletes it seemed. It was incredibly busy around the hotel with road closures etc. The public areas on the ground floor were a little outdated but comfortable and well cared for.

Great location, within walking distance from the Mains river and from the city center. Great restaurant within 5-15mins walking distance. Easy for kids and babys with strollers. Good staff, amazing breakfast and comfort rooms.

Nothing in particular. A minor improvement: the staff at breakfast entrance were collecting room info for those who bought breakfast or charging for those who are adding breakfast on the spot. We had to wait in line long. The staff needs to be more efficient in splitting into two lines, to let those who pre booked breakfast to be faster in and not wait in line...

We booked Maritim hotel which is 3 minutes walk to tram station. It is a very nice hotel. Initially the reception lady gave a run down room on 2nd floor but on my complaint she upgraded to a superior newly renovated hightech room. I enjoyed my stay and recommend try to take rooms on renovated floor. This hotel is centrally located and downtown shopping area is not far away. Just a couple of tram stops. Tram station is near by. Hotel bed, pillow, sofa, working top and chairs are just perfect. The high tech system for air con and shower is remarkable Thanks to Maritim management for giving me complimentary upgrade.

The Maritim is a lovely hotel just across from the river. They had emailed me info on the parking location as directly underneath the hotel (16 euro per night as for the Congress Centre) and sat nav took us straight to it. Receptionist (young man) very friendly and informative and our room was ready early. Very welcome 2 bottles of water in the room which was spacious and had a balcony. We walked in and out to the centre (5-10 mins) by the river which is a lovely walk (from 1 bridge to the other). Has a very busy bar for a late night drink. Breakfast was amazing - huge range of foods (they have a butter maker!, well dispenser), very good service from staff and a large outside seating area where we sat for a while after breakfast. They make their own bircher muesli which they sell or reward you with if you're staying for several days and don't get room cleaned which is a nice touch (we were only there for 1 night)

Check in at the hotel was a disaster, we were a day late because of airport strike got to the hotel at 1 in the morning and they had no record of our booking in- spite of me informing them the day before through booking.com.Took an hour to sort out so checked in at 2 in the morning. I think the hotel should have given us a free night as we had to pay 90% of the day we lost.

The room was really big, and there was plenty of cupboard space for storage. We were facing onto the inner courtyard, so the room was really quiet. Breakfast was not cheap, but it was probably the best one I've ever had in Germany - you could even have a glass of Sekt if you were in the mood for it!! Finally, the swimming pool was great for relaxing at the end of the day. Thoroughly recommended, I would choose to stay there again if I ever came back to Wurzburg.

The room was very spacious and luxurious. The breakfast, although very expensive, was really excellent. The location on the River Main was ideal.

Signposting to the swimming pool in the hotel needs to be provided - it took ages to find it!! Also more advice about car parking prior to and at arrival would be useful. One can park free at the nearby Talavera car park just across the river and if one uses the car park below the hotel, then one should present one's car parking ticket to the reception staff each morning for payment as the hotel has a special arrangement with the car park so that the 24 hours can be valid overnight - otherwise one pays foe each calendar day separately (i.e. twice as expensive!!).

The Maritim Hotel serves an amazing breakfast with so much choice. My husband is vegan and he was very well catered for. The breakfast restaurant is really lovely and bright. We also stayed for dinner and the food was really lovely. We enjoyed our evening meal. Again the staff were accommodating of his food needs. I highly recommend the catering. The hotel is very convenient for the railway station and close enough to walk into the centre. The room was spacious and comfortable, even had a fridge. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and pleasant.

The hotel reception was very busy and it was time consuming to get room keys sorted. They didn’t work first time round. We were on a floor that the main lift doesn’t access, so the staff kindly allowed us to go through a staff lift area but that was quite unpleasant. I had requested non feathers because I am allergic, but there was a feather pillow on top of a non feather one. I had to shut them in the wardrobe, but it still affected my breathing. I didn’t sleep at all well. I wasn’t well enough to use the leisure facilities, which is one of the reasons I chose the hotel, so I was a little disappointed with the overall experience.

Even though the building and the lobby look somewhat outdated, the room was modern and comfortable. The beds were good and the shower was especially good: the water temperature was digitally displayed and adjustable with plus / minus push buttons. The airconditioning in the room was good and withstood the heatwave that the city was experiencing. The breakfast room was bright and airy, the buffet was good but light on sweet options - only croissants and danishes and these ran out about an hour before closing.

The check-in staff assured us that our room overlooked the river, and had a great view, which it did not. Not a big issue, as the view was over the old town but there was no need for dishonesty.
