Very central Location, good continental breakfast with a hot option every day. Staff were very helpful with recommendations and advice on parking (wish we had asked 1st as it would have saved us some time) Quieter location away from the square but not far to walk to them to enjoy the restaurants. Great view from the roof terrace where breakfast is served and a pool area although we didn’t use the pool.

Other guests banging doors in the early hours of the morning. Not the hotel’s fault just inconsiderate people unfortunately. Parking is difficult but if you speak to the hotel 1st before trying to find a space then there is a free car park 5 mins walk away with loads of spaces.

The location is great and very practical. the hotel is near the main walking street and near the seaside but also its just few minutes away from main bus station. The staff were nice and very helpful. I stayed in standard size room and it was spacious and comfortable. Buffet was very nice, every day there were slight variations so it wasnt exactly the same everyday but overall it was very tasty

I personally love hard beds and the beds here were semi-hard semi-soft so even though that isnt my personal preference, it was still very comfortable for sleep!!

This is a lovely modern property on the edge of old town. It is situated on a quiet, level pedestrian street. We walked all over old town from this property. The bus station for Puerto de la Cruz is an easy 10 min walk. The roof top terrace with pool sold us on the property and it did not disappoint. Breakfast is served there which you can purchase separately or look for a booking where it is included. There is an elevator but the wide staircase provides easy access to rooms as well.

There are coffee makers in room but only the first day’s coffee pods are provided. After that they can be easily purchased from reception.

Location was great, hotel was fresh, reception and staff welcoming, breakfast was very good and was changing daily, free large parking space within few minute walk – overall very good experience.

I was a bit confused about the difference between pictures and real life with the terrace – we booked the Premium room because the terrace looked amazing in photos, but in reality I guess there are several Premium rooms, and the one we got was nice, but 2-3x smaller. It seems it's a bit of a lottery which one you get – that seemed slightly misleading to me.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The hotel’s central location, very close to the seafront, was definitely a highlight and made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a great terrace. However, we had to change our initial room, which faced an inner courtyard and lacked proper ventilation. We opted to upgrade to a room with a balcony and paid the additional fee. In this context, we requested a single invoice that included this extra charge, but were told it wasn’t possible. The receptionist’s attitude throughout the process was rude. In fact, the interaction was marked by arrogance rather than helpfulness.

We enjoyed our stay at DWO Nopal. The room was big, the bed was super comfy. Our room was cleaned everyday, all the towels were changed. We bought bottles of water straight at reception. The reception was 24/7 available. Also my husband arranged a surprise birthday present for me and he asked to keep the birthday cake and flowers in the kitchen and staff helped us. Everything was super friendly, pleasant and nice. Also I was surprised by breakfast. You can order some freshly made dishes with eggs. And it is already included in the breakfast fee. Loved it! P.S. also the rooftop view is amazing!

Basically I loved almost everything about the stay. I would especially emphasize the amazing breakfasts on the rooftop with a great view of the city and very nice and friendly staff. The location is a perfect base for walking tours of the lovely Puerto de la Cruz.

Our 4 person room had a window facing only the inner courtyard, so hardly any sunlight entered the room. We knew about it beforehand and still decided to book it but still it bothered us a little - would be nice to have at least a street view! Also, the nearest parking lot is quite far away but that's hardly a hotel's fault.

Location was very good. Room and bathroom big enough and very clean. The bed was better than usually in Spain. You could choose between two different pillows. Very good breakfast. Wonderful roof terrace and swimming pool which was small but the water was warm. Nice pool towels against deposit.

There was not enough space to put your things. Only shelves in the wardrobe, no drawers. No drawers also in bedside table or in the writing desk. And in the bathroom you could put your things only on the edge of the sink.

Really enjoyed our stay here, friendly staff, modern clean room and great shower. Perfect location and no need to worry if you have a hire car, huge free car park on seafront 5 mins away, google Explanada del Muelle Best part was breakfast each morning, sitting on roof terrace enjoying an excellent breakfast. You could have one thing freshly made to order then, cereal, fruit, pastries etc and nice coffee and usually a nice freshly made cake Puerto de la Cruz is a real town, still busy and lots of restaurants but less nightlife than Playa Las Americas, though there is an Irish bar Molly Malone if you like old Irish men singing traditional songs! As we had a car we drove around the north coast and found some nice beaches and natural pools (bring a mask and snorkel): Playa El Bullullo - Nice beach, rough sea, last 500m road is very rough and tight & 5 euro parking, can do a nice walk from hotel approx 4km - San Diego grill nearby is a good restaurant Garachico - cute town and nice natural pools but busy, town beach to south is nice Playa de la Arena - nice curving beach and natural pools around corner. Steep windy road but room for two cars Bajamar - small town with big natural 50m swimming pool and small beach La Laguna - nice historic town TF-12 road through the Anaga forest is cool, very twisty but perfect tarmac and places to stop and hike, finishes at San Andres beach, big man made beach near Santa Cruz, lots of free parking

Nothing. The only potential downside is we didn't find a great beach within close walking distance but there is a small stony beach 2 mins away which is a small harbour and there are ladders also down from the harbour walls for a dip. There is also Complejo Turístico Municipal Costa Martiánez which has a big salt pool and sun loungers approx 7.50 euro pp for entry and lounger.

A wonderful modern hotel. All hotel staff are extremely friendly. The reception is open 24/7 and will help you with any question. The rooms are very clean, daily thorough cleaning and change of towels. Delicious breakfasts on the roof terrace with a view of the volcano, the city and the ocean. Very tasty pastry. Warm scrambled eggs or toast will be prepared to order without additional payment. In the evening the terrace works as a bar, you can have a pleasant time there. The pool with sunbeds is also wonderful and comfortable. Central location, quiet street and 10 minutes walk from the beach and bus station. There are a huge number of restaurants and shops around for every taste. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
