The 60m2 junior suite was spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable it was difficult to want to get up in the morning. The rainfall shower had great water pressure. The highlight of the room was the large balcony with double jacuzzi bath with adjustable water jet pressure. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Coffee machine had great variety. Staff at breakfast couldn’t have been more helpful, I prefer my bacon soft and it was cooked to order.

The shower, toilet and walk-in wardrobe was decorated in a pearlescent dark shiny tile but the lighting was dim in these areas making it difficult to find what you want from your suitcase. Not a big problem just a little annoying. Can’t add any other dislikes as there weren’t any

The hotel is perfectly located – just a short walk from BluPort Shopping Mall and close to both the Cicada and Tamarind Markets. Although it’s near a busy main road, the rooms are set further back near the beach, making it peaceful and quiet. The beach itself is stunning, especially in the late afternoon when the tide goes out – ideal for a sunset walk. A small convenience store next to the hotel is very handy, and the authentic Italian restaurant on the beach (just to the left of the hotel) is absolutely worth a visit. Our room was spacious and so well-designed. Though we booked a double room, we received two queen-size beds pushed together – still very comfortable. The bathroom, with its deep blue tiles, carried a beautiful oriental theme that added to the charm. The beach bar is stylish and the Happy Hour cocktails were excellent. The breakfast buffet was thoughtfully arranged and the breakfast manager was exceptionally attentive, even remembering our preferences (Cappuccino & Green Tea Pot) after a few days – a lovely personal touch.

The fitness room is unfortunately not well maintained. Guests must switch on the equipment and air conditioning themselves, and towels were sometimes missing (though provided when requested). The gym is also quite small, and unfortunately located along the path to the guest rooms, with large windows that make you feel a bit exposed as people walk by. While the beach bar is lovely, there are no snacks offered alongside the mocktails/cocktails. A small snack menu (e.g. chips/crisps, nuts, small cheese plate with ciabatta and olive oil) would be a great addition.

Small, charming hotel with friendly staff directly on the beach. Short walks from room to pool, breakfast, reception. Kids enjoyed the hotel pool and beach and the private pool on the room‘s patio. Beach offers banana ride, jet skis, horse riding etc. Hua Hin is a lot more commercialized than the Southern Islands and vibes and a beach walk means walking along huge hotel complexes. Luckily the Marrakesh kept its small place charm. Easy taxi ride to Hua Hin Night Market. Hotel staff helped organize a private vehicle to the famous Phraya Nakhon Cave (the highlight of our trip). Lunch / dinner options are good but not cheap. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails. Breakfast was ok but not fantastic (if you stayed at resorts before you might have been spoilt and developed higher expectations). The coffee was bitter so we opted for tea mostly. But the staff is just so wonderful and really trying to optimize your stay.

Choices of( Western)food wasn't great for breakfast. The "freshly cooked" bacon ALEAYS arrived cold. What is the point of frying 10 eggs,then letting them go cold ?......the chef did this every day for the 6 days I was there ! I got ONE hash brown when I was there.....none replaced.no orange juice left. Sunbeds were a disgrace !!......I saw an Eastern European couple put 2 towels on each of 4 sunbeds, 2 beds on one side of the pool,2 other side.......chasing the sun. People couldn't get beds because there was no time limit set for empty beds !! The room was nice( room 20) but,when I turned on the air con the smell of cannabis nearly choked me ....So,we turned it off.....but,there was a strange humming noise outside,which meant I had to sleep with earplugs in !

Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice, and very pleasant to sit out side and drink your coffee, a good start to the day, the gym was ok for me running machines and X trainers, x 2, the weights are good to tick along , but if your serios weights guy you may need a different gym, the room was very nice, the bed was comfrey room Decor was lovely, the view of the pool was great, the bath on the balcony was great. the pool may be mistaken for the big pool you can see from your balcony, this very large pool is for residents in other side of the Hotel, however the pool for hotel guest in very nice, but gets very busy, and finding a place to relax is hard.

Loved the exotic & romantic vibe, an intimate and beautiful independent charming hotel with a lovely view and only 76 rooms. A fabulous infinity pool with direct access onto the private spotless beach and shallow warm waters. Enjoyed spending 2 hours most mornings enjoying a lovely breakfast, superb selection to leisurely work your way through…. Thank you Mon & your team for looking after Tan & I over the 6 mornings, that became 10… See you again for sure. สวัสดีครับ Simon

Top-notch staff who treat their customers in a professional and friendly, manner…amazing service, including upscale breakfast, in the morning. Beautiful, fully-detailed common areas, including a very large, sparkling pool; the resort is of a rich, Moroccan design, including the rooms. One of the world’s beautiful resorts in a nice area with friendly locals. Upscale, Hua Hin beach, calm waters, good weather, overall, beach horses, view of Monkey Mountain and close to everything.

The hotel is wonderful. Lovely room, very comfy bed, an amazing pool you can do lengths in, incredibly tasty breakfast with everything you could want. Staff are very friendly and helpful, it really was a pleasure. Used the gym - good for cardio but just dumbbells and a bench for weights. Great rain shower.

Nothing to hang your clothes which was a right pain - a rack on the balcony would go a long way. More light would be nice in the suite, you can't see very well. I also think it would help in the rainy season to have a covered area for restaurant tables. I wanted to eat at the hotel a few times but it was raining a lot and there was nowhere to sit, so ended up going to another place.

The staff can make or break a stay, at the Marrakesh the staff were fantastic. Friendly, very good at their job and always with a smile and greeting, the majority spoke and understood English, that is very important for a relaxing holiday. The location right on the beach was beautiful, not in the hustle and bustle further along the stretch of beach, no hawkers or umbrellas taking away from the view. Our room was huge with king bed, walk in wardrobe and the shower was very impressive. The balcony with its huge day bed and double spa was fun, privacy blinds were a good touch. Breakfast was a great start to the day, choices oh my so many from eggs cooked to your liking, Asian, European hot food and pastries were all there for you. Coffee of many styles, tea and fresh juice. Big ✔

It was wet season so hot and humid and because of that we didn't use the balcony much, a ceiling fan would make a great difference.

When entered the room I was completely wowed, especially at the jacuzzi on the balcony and the suite decor was really lovely. The suite was bigger than my flat so I was thrilled with all the space and dressing area. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I loved the direct access to the beautiful beach and enjoyed quite a few swims in the sea. The beach area was very clean and the sea was like a bath. The pool was also very nice. This place was just what I needed after a couple of weeks backpacking. The staff were all very pleased and helpful. Professional but not in your face.

Some instructions on how to work the TV would be good, I would have liked it for a music channel. But no Biggie.
