The grounds were amazing, the beach was lovely and the choice of restaurants were great

The Kids Club. There were always 3 staff but they never interacted with the children. They sat behind the desk on their phones. They were extremely unfriendly and showed almost a dislike of all children in their care

Location: The hotel is in a quiet area, far from the noise and crowds, but still close enough to key attractions we wanted to visit. It offers beautiful views—facing the sea on one side and a peaceful lagoon on the other. Getting around: It's easy to explore the surrounding area. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus (available on request from reception) and a boat service that takes you around the Laguna area (every 30 minutes). You can hop on and off to visit other hotels, restaurants, and the Laguna Village, which has a few restaurants, a coffee shop, supermarket, pharmacy, shops, and other services. Food: The Thai/Asian food at the hotel was excellent. Special thanks to Chef Gan for the delicious meals! (the Tom Yum, Malay Skewers, Green Curry, and fish dishes) Guest experience: The hotel app was a great addition. It provides all the information you need and allows you to request services like housekeeping or in-room dining with just a few clicks. Everything we asked for was delivered within minutes. Staff: The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to: - Chef Gan and Roberto for the amazing food and warm conversations - Nah from housekeeping for the warm welcome and excellent service - F from Mr. Tom Yum, who gave exceptional service and was attentive to the needs of our kids. - Book at the breakfast buffet for always being cheerful and fast - Rum at reception for always being helpful and attentive

Breakfast could be improved by offering more international options to cater to a wider range of guests.

First, the location, Laguna Phuket is amazing, and perfect for Families. Super safe, clean and nice. Lots of shops, pharmacy, restaurants, even it's own night market. Very easy to get here from Phuket airport only 30-35 mins drive, and easy to get to main attractions of the island, Most within a 15 to 45-minute drive. Day trips to places like Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay are easily arranged as well. The Bang Tao beach is phenomenal, big, clean, not very crowded, clean water, great view, the water not pristine, but still instagramable, the tide only gets 2-3 meters, which is great compared to other beaches in Phuket, but the most amazing thing about this beach is the breathtaking red sunset... Right on the beach on the left side, there are plenty of other restaurant options to try out. The resort is amazing, green, clean, peaceful and calm, we had one of the most relaxing vacation ever with our two sons 3 and 7 years old. Lots of facilities, ensuring there's always something to do. The staff is out of this world, super friendly, ready to assist and help at any step, they make you feel a valued customer. Check-in, check-out were ultra fast, any service request that we had via app or phone were solved instantly. The pools are super nice, clean, the water seems to be heated, there are plenty of sun-beds, and the slide was particularly popular with our kids, providing hours of entertainment. The food is great, both a la carte restaurant and breakfast buffet. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and lots of diversity, changing minor stuff on a daily basis. We want to address a special thank to the staff for taking care of our son's gluten free intolerance, serving us special fresh food for him (bread, pancakes, muffins, etc) Spacious rooms, well equiped, great bathroom. Small balcony facing the lake, beautiful view They had an extra window bed, perfect for a family like ours. The mattresses and pillows were super comfy. Great WI-FI.

- We had a scary experience when we left our kids at the playground. We returned after 30 mins, and our 3-year-old son was missing. Thankfully, we found him safe by the pool. But it's concerning that he could leave the playground without anyone noticing. We were lucky this time, but this needs to be addressed for everyone's safety. - Despite booking a massage through the app, we arrived to find no reservation had been made. It appears there was a glitch in the app booking system, causing this inconvenience for us. - Being a green resort, there were quite a few mosquitoes around at night.

A few points to improve on 1. Pool stairs are too rough. Multiple people got cut with it. This needs to improve. 2. You need buzzers at the pool loungers and cabanas to call the waiters easier. 3. You need one more dedicated Thai Restaurant 4. Breakfast spread needs a bit of improving. More cheeses, breads, better egg station, more fruits(having to ask for bananas is quite silly and I have never seen that in any 5 star resort.) Otherwise your product is amazing. If you improve on this, there would be no reason to go to any other resort in Phuket.

As it is close to the public beach, the hotel does not have control over who enters the pool area, so people who are not staying use the facilities, which ends up transforming a private place into a public one. The pool bathrooms are practically public, as people often come in just to use them. Non-guests spend the day at the pool occupying chairs and even saving slide “mats” for their children to use. This greatly compromises security, as they have no control over who enters or leaves the hotel premises.

The room was amazing great breakfast, the restaurant food was also a good selection of food.

No room service as we flew in late after the after the restaurants were closed and advised that if we wanted food we had to order takeout using Grab. For a 5 star hotel this was very poor as guest could be flying in at all differents time from around the world and would want something to eat even if it was hot chips or sandwich. This was extremly poor for a hotel of this size.

We had a bad experience with Saii when we called them on the phone requesting adjoining rooms as we were a family of 5 with 3 small children. The person on the phone and email were not clear on the fact that our rooms couldn't be next to each other when we first booked, and then broke the news to us the day before our arrival as we had called for a different matter. They were rude and not helpful and we arrived fully expecting to have a lousy stay because our family would be split into 2 separate buildings. However upon arrival, we were taken care of by Kho, who solved our issue within half an hour, and with a smile. The rest of the stay was really nice. Although the hotel was a bit busy, the staff was friendly, the activities nice and the rooms were spacious. Nai from the tennis club ran a very nice bootcamp one day, which was the best work out I have had in ages. Lots of restaurants and beachclubs on the beach connected to the hotel. Amazing sunset

Staff on the phone prior to our arrival was not incompetent and unfriendly. The breakfast got a bit boring after day 3, but was nevertheless good quality.

The beach and pool are very nice. There is a nice gym. The breakfast is good with plenty of choices. Our kids enjoyed the stay and the time we had on the beach, pool and Phuket. The hotel is rather remote from Phuket, but in a nice Laguna area with restaurants and shops.

Check in terrible. We arrived after 14:00, which is check in time designated by hotel. The two rooms were not ready, we were asked to wait 10 min for the first room and additional 20 for the second. We got first room after half an hour and the second room after almost two hours. In the first room the toilet was not clean, someone used it just before we came. Trying to flush revealed that it was clogged. Immediately called maintenance and after one and half hours waiting went to complain to front desk. Instead of smooth checking in we had two hours of troubleshooting and waiting. The front desk is nice but they are lying about waiting times and able to take care of issues efficiently.

We've returned to SAii and the stay was perhaps even better than before. The staff recognized us from our last stay and couldn't be more welcoming. Our young son had the best time in the Kid's club, and a shout out to Mookie, Toon and Rain for being so kind and sweet to him and giving him a birthday present. There's a lot to do for kids, and our son enjoyed all of it, from t-shirt dying to tennis lessons. Our son really took to the tennis teacher. There were also plenty of activities for us, like the Muay Thai lessons and other sports classes. Also, the people working the sail boats couldn't be nicer. Amazing experiences all around. The hotel itself is great, clean, and the facilities are excellent. Breakfast offers a very large buffet ranging from continental, to Thai and even Indian. The pools are large, enough daybeds alongside them - and near the beach. The area around the resort offers restaurants, bars and massage places. A short taxi/motorbike ride from the hotel offers even more options including Porto de Phuket for shopping. There's a free shuttle service within the Laguna area that takes you to a Family Mart and other shops. I couldn't recommend SAii more. This has been the second consecutive year that we've been, and are already planning on returning next year.
