Beautiful design, spacious rooms and amazing bathroom. Amazing breakfast with excellent staff

Location is not the best if you are planning sightseeing. Not all of the staff members are able to communicate freely in English. When I asked for the bath robe I was answered “go to the end of hotel, look for a doorman he will give you”. Honestly it would be nice to get it delivered to a room.

The front desk staff are good and responsive. The house keeping people are not. The house keeping staff turn off the A/C after cleaning while the temperature is high (in summer) and they did not stop turning the A/C off despite the guest comments and requests. Also, during the check-in the front desk staff could not charge the amount in one shot because their POS machines have a limit. I had to change the amount over 8 different sessions to complete.

The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms and the showers were great. The variety of the food in the restaurant at breakfast was great.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past couple of years. But in the recent reservation, I booked a room for my Fiancé as part of her connection flight to the United States. Unfortunately, at the time of check-in, the front desk demanded to see the physical card which was used for the room reservation (even though the fee was paid in full as part of the reservation/confirmation). Since, my fiancé did not have my physical card, she was forced to pay in cash in order to stay there for one night. The front desk stated that it’s the policy!! I find it very strange that a pre-paid reservation which has the guest name on it, is not recognized by the this hotel. It’s very unfortunate b/c of this policy!! Extremely unhappy !!

At the restaurant or at breakfast room we felt overwhelmed by the fact that servants was almost forcing your hands for tips Breakfast wasn’t flat and not much to choose from. I went home to noticed that two paires of glasses was missing from their case. Big shame that people are stilling from customers

We are a family of four travelled from the west coast, USA. The staff was amazing, we received exceptional service with an high level of attentiveness from all levels of staff. We travelled with teenagers and felt they were safe in the hotel. Spa staff were accommodating and amazing! The Spa manager, Yavuz, took time to understand our needs and pair us with the right services. He made sure my teenagers had comfortable spa experiences. We Highly recommend the Turkish bath and Neroli massage. We had several spa services throughout our stay. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed due to construction. Still, the quality and value of spa was well worth our visits. The rooftop pool had an amazing view and served tasty burgers. Alcoholic drinks are taxed a higher amount so be prepared for that. We enjoyed mint ice tea daily while laying on loungers. Breakfast every morning was a wonderful experience. We saw some of the same staff day to day that in general took exceptional care of us. Our server, Emery Y was attentive to our likes and provided exceptional service. Every morning staff took time to greet us, serve with grace, and to see how they can make our stay better. The food selection was healthy and plentiful. The chef made special requests daily for us like pancakes, crepes, and special omelets. Baklava was abundant thanks to the very attentive room concierge manager that personally dropped off delights every day for our family. I can’t say enough about our experience. We extended our vacation there because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Can’t wait to go back to the spa and use their extensive gym. I left in better health than when I started having access to great food, the gym, and great rest. We had a 1 bedroom suite for our family with 2 roll away beds. The suite was 1800 square ft, immaculately clean, and well designed with family and private space. We used our expansive terrace day and night to take in the sights. Thanks to everyone that they took care of us.

The dental kit is bad: Toothbrush is way too harsh on the gum, and the toothpaste is only inside a small packet that is sufficient for only 2 brushes, then you ask for extra toothpaste and they send you a whole new dental kit. The lights system is constraining, I can't control every single light bulb in the room, I either have to run 4 lights at once and it becomes too bright or 0 lights and the room becomes too dark The hairdryer has no guide on where to plug it so we ended up plugging into a place not suitable for hair dryers which made it only give cold air

Staff are very nice

Boiling hot milk in cappuccino brought with no spoon. Not clear guidance over stations - im not sure if there is a menu for egg station but would be nice to have - learned by accident that there is a benedict egg available. Sweets and fruits selection is a bit limited. dining room in such location at the ground floor with no view is rather upsetting but unchangeable. Housekeeping definitely needs improvement: both rooms i was offered had points about cleaning... forgotten cleaning cloth, drops of whatsoever on wardrobe, spotted room and bathroom carpets, spotted shower door.

This is my second visit to the hotel, and it is truly amazing, from the reception to the friendly and respectful staff. I would especially like to thank the manager, Aukut Uzunoglu, for providing me with a warm welcome and offering additional perks with my booking, such as access to the Gold Lounge and SPA services. Thank you for that, Our room was on the 33rd floor, and the view was absolutely stunning. I would love to visit Turkey again. I would also like to thank the Gold Lounge manager, Mr. Seven, for his exceptional hospitality, as well as all the staff. Thank you all! I truly enjoyed my stay. And before I forget, the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of food options. They also provide free parking and valet services.

Big rooms, breathtaking views, good breakfast, the staff is amazing (always trying to help you with whatever you need)

-cleaning (we were there for 4 nights, the cleaning lady came only once, in the first day; second day I forgot the DND sign on, but the receptionist called me, I told them that the lady can come at 2pm, they agreed but no one comed that day and neither the day after) -at check-out, on my bill was something from the mini bar that I did not consume, when I told them that they took it off -when I arrived I used the valet parking service, during my holiday I did not took the car out not even once, but they charged me with the valet service every day (four times in four days). I did stay in another hotel in Istanbul (Marriott), also using valet parking and I was charged only once. Probably Fairmont has different policies, so just be aware of that.

We had an outstanding stay! The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, and the room was modern with great amenities. The bathroom was a highlight, with both a shower and bathtub offering a fantastic view of the city. The minibar had a good selection, and there was even a coffee machine in the room. Our room on the 25th floor had stunning views, which made our stay even better. The pool area was wonderful, with a great view and delicious drinks. The breakfast was a real treat – there was so much variety, it was impossible to try everything! The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Just something small. We mentioned it was our anniversary, but there was no special surprise or acknowledgment, which was a bit disappointing. Also, while the hotel is close to a subway station, it may not be the best location for extensive city sightseeing.
