Radisson Blu Istanbul Review 14th to 19th Aug We were welcomed on arrival with an upgrade to a more superior room, with a view of the local mosque. The room had all the higher level facilities including: an iron, hair dryer, separate bath and double headed shower with plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The bedroom itself was big, spacious and clean with a super king, extremely comfortable bed. In this case, we can’t do a review without mentioning the amazing facilities of: outdoor and indoor pools, bar, jacuzzi, sizable sauna, steam room and gym. These were all first class quality and quite frankly unforgettable. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, from the friendly housekeeping to the knowledgeable conciege and helpful receptionists. Notable names include Furkan a guest relation manager and Kerem a conciege who gave us advice and directions on places we wanted to go every time we left for the day or evening. The hotel is situated within a 3 minute walk from the metro (which we’d highly recommend you use as it’s very cheap and close to all the places you will want to visit in Istanbul). The hotel has nearby supermarkets, souvenir shops, clothes shops, a bakery with traditional breakfast options as well as several pharmacies and a shopping centre.

We stay here few times already. The lounge was great, the food was generally very good, though occasionally some dishes, like beef or vegetables, were slightly overcooked /undercooked. We regularly shared feedback with the staff, and they were always responsive and took care of things. A big shout-out to the concierge, reception team, and the staff at the door, everyone was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

downside was the air-conditioning in the room. It was centrally controlled, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves. This was a bit disappointing, especially during the daytime when it sometimes got uncomfortably warm.

Great location, friendly staff (especially Kerem at Concierge as he provided excellent directions to catch train/tram to Basilica Cistern & other locations), clean & comfortable room & facilities. Loved the executive lounge access and would recommend to pay the extra to have access to this facility.

Room was not serviced/cleaned between first night and second. Non-smoking room but it still smelled of cigarettes & smoking. Perhaps curtains & bedding need deep clean? Strange that pool towels were not available at the pool bar. Only available upstairs at spa desk. Rather inconvenient. Also unsure why elevator did not stop at Level 4 for pool access. Had to use staircase. Room access card did not operate elevator easily. Had to insert multiple times to operate.

I arrived to find my room had been upgraded and it was a a wonderful start to the holiday. Hygiene standards were high and continually monitored. Breakfast was very good and I found myself eating far more than I ever have at that time of day. I would also recommend the restaurant for dinner. The staff were always available, attentive and friendly throughout the hotel. For people tempted but unsure of the location of the hotel I can truthfully say that it was easy to access all the major tourist destinations.

My only frustration was that the cards didn’t always work to access the lifts but it was a minor problem which was always easily put right

Clean, new hotel in the good location (few minutes from shopping mall, bus stop and metro station), I was reaching all places I needed in 30-40 minutes. Staff was polite and helpful. I had few problems and it was solved quickly. Didn’t have time to check out all facilities. Rooms are enough soundproof, was sleeping very well. The best thing in the end of long day - bath tab. The only thing - blankets are small and so thin, but I requested additional one , so it was fine . Temperature in the room didn’t go lower than 21, even AC was set on 19 and I wish could open window for fresh air (because of safety concerns it’s restricted). Requested late check out and it was managed so quickly, reception and supervisor are so helpful. I read a lot of reviews about other hotels where it’s cheaper and closer to touristic areas, but dirty, unsafe, staff is careless and they took some residents belongings. Don’t risk your safety and comfort, go for this hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for a week .. from the first day we arrived to Istanbul in the early morning and Mr. Yunis was so helpful and found me a room that I can check in in the morning ( not afternoon ) he was super nice .. the room service was okay .. the customer service ( phone ) were great they answer immediately and help you ( they don’t let you wait ) .. also the guys at the gate they help me with taxis and for any inquiry.. they always smile ! Friendly and so helpful .. the place is quit and near Nişantaşı it’s like 15 mins walk.. supermarket in front of the hotel .. namli ( best bakery ) also best to the supermarket .. everything was perfect in my stay

They don’t have scale for luggages

I had a great experience at the hotel — everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and professional. What really stood out, though, was the staff member EGE. He was incredibly helpful, respectful, and went above and beyond to assist us. His service truly made our stay even better. Big thanks to him, and I definitely recommend this hotel. Looking forward to coming back again!

I liked the location, the hotel room and space, I liked spa pool, hamam and gym. I liked they provided me nespreso machine and daily capsules with water. Guest relation was helpful.

I didn't like the room view opposite other building and people so couldn't open curtains. I didn't like their key cards, I had to change them every exit as they didn't open the door, had to go back down every time. I didn't like that they promised me a nice high floor room with a view and got me to check in to a low floor, bad view at my night arrival with family so couldn't change after unpacking. They said they will do a nice setup for my wedding anniversary and we just got complimentary nuts and fruits on the table. The bed sheets and duvet weren't to a proper size and not properly fitted and tucked, I had to arrange them every night.

I didn't tried the breakfast so I cannot really give my opinion, the room was great it was spacious and clean and the furniture is comfortable. The location of the hotel is 5 mins away from Jawaher Mall, and all services outside the hotel is near like restaurants and shops and supermarket is opposite of the hotel directly. Nisantasi is 12 mins walking distance, the location is great.

To be fare, I didn't have any negative statements of the stay in the hotel, just that the hotel price is little expensive.

I loved that this hotel was safe .. the elevators can only be used by guests and staff .. this area is full of street beggars so safety is a priority .. additionally the staff are all very professional everything you ask for you receive in no time .. the hotel is very clean .. it is close to really nice cafes and restaurants ..

The place is favoured by many so it was very crowded and checking in was a hassle for me .. also I met few guests who faced problems due to paying in advance through the app, so I recommend you only pay when you checkin ..
