We had bigger room and it made our stay comfortable. Staff, all of them, very super friendly and helpful. We also liked location, it wasn’t really closed to centre of Kadikoy, but there is bus stop next to the hotel, also train or metro is nearby and using taxi on Asian site is safe and cheap. I would say location of the hotel is in residential zone which makes our stay more authentic, there is local market, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants nearby.

The smell coming of toilet was worrying me for first day but then I found out is typical for some parts of Istanbul. Also toilet flushing is so weak. Bath cabinet needs retouching.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. A special thank you to Ms. Suda, who was incredibly attentive and made sure all my requests were met with a smile. Her kindness and dedication truly made me feel at home. I also want to express my gratitude to Mr. Murat for his outstanding service—his attention to detail and willingness to assist with anything I needed did not go unnoticed. We also requested a room change and they assisted us with smile immediately. Location is good, a lot of stores and places to eat around, also close to a public transport station. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay.

Clean yes everyday done. it's good place if you don't like to stay in tourist place's its very good places to enjoy walking in the area's and easy to go to the Kadikoy amd near Marmaray Metro to connect you to other side of istanbul Fatih taksim,uskudur and others (the distance between hotel and station only 5mn walking).Only Bad Point The some of guests smoke in rooms then Alarms make noosy and we must go for emergency specially at midnight e.g 3 am.but **Dear guest please🙏 respect rules and stay safe 🙏.

It was my 3rd visit to beautiful city of istanbul and kadikoy this place is like my second home. Past 2 times I have stayed at Bağdat Caddesi side this time by chance found out about the gate hotel its a new property well maintained and centrally located, cafes restaurants, bakeries, doner and kebab shops are within the reach. Reaching kadikoy sahil is also easy with the buses and taxi available on the street. Special thanks to Dilan Honim and Ogoz Bey at the reception for making our stay comfortable and thanks to the housekeeping staff Gayan for keeping our room neat and clean. overall comfortable and convenient stay. Easy to access location. Very close to the shore restaurants and cafes. Reasonably priced for tourists.

Although this hotel can be considered close to SAW airport, it is at a Milan Malpensa/ Milano Centrale distance to the new IGA airport. Then again there are Havaist Shuttle Busses from Kadikoy public transport square. About 9 USD per person. Breakfast area is kind of tight indoors. However, If you opt out the breakfast option, you can get to the breakfast cafes in the Moda Marina area by an 8 minute Uber/taxi ride. They have exceptional turkish breakfasts. I must say i had one of the best breakfasts at Happy Moon

Super amazing staff. Friendly and helpful. A lot of affordable cafes and restaurants were nearby. My biggest compliments to Dundar( staff member name, hopefully I wrote his name correctly) and the others. Thank you so much ❤️ also a lot of cute cats nearby!

The air conditioning was working but sometimes it turned off in our room for half an hour, and then leaked a bit. It couldn’t get solved on time but it was really no big deal.

The room was small but had everything we needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located on a busy street and it is easy to get a bus down to Kadakoy or the ferry to old town. The metro was nearby and we used that to get around too. The staff were nice and the neighborhood was great fun, lots of nice restaurants within easy reach.

Most of the staff spoke poor English and one day a staff member called a taxi for my husband who had an appointment. Sadly the staff member failed to find a taxi but did not tell my husband so he was quite late. That was not okay.

Very close to Marmaray and easy walkable to Kadikoy. It is located on the same street as lots of different shops and restaurants

There’s a few bits that could turn this into a 5 star hotel. There are no bedside tables, but stools. There is also no toothbrush holder in the bathroom. In the hotel description, it says “free toiletries”. Don’t get too excited. This consists of a soap dispensers in the bathroom - not the typical toiletries. When we wanted cleaning, only the bed was made. There was nothing else involved

The place is clean, affordable and comfortable.The Front office was very welcoming especially “Ayşe” who was extremely helpful and kind.The breakfast was wonderful offering more options than expected,and the staff greeted every guest warmly.The Food was delicious, and the service was excellent especially “Dündar” (if i remember correctly).He showed us the nearest metro station and explained how to reach the airport easily.
