Located in the heart of the touristy area of Alsancak. The hotel arranged a wheelchair for my wife who had hurt her foot during the trip. They also gave us the wheelchair accessible room. They were nice enough to allow us to take the wheelchair with us outside the hotel premises for the 2 days that we were there. The front desk staff answered all our queries and guided really well The hotel was 2 mins walk to a very popular food street Kıbrıs Şehitleri Cd. Very clean and maintained hotel. Wide variety during breakfast. Overall a very good stay.

They dont make eggs of your choice for breakfast. They are also in a rush to wind up the breakfast spread. At exactly 10:30am they start picking up the breakfast food items so even if you are in between eating they wont wait for you. We found that a bit strict

Nice location, very central and lot of restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast with a great variety: fantastic mix of local and continental items, cheese, veggies, eggs, pickles, pastries, tea, coffee...served fresh for an extended time, so that you dont have to wake up before sunrise. Friendly staff. Neat and tidy room and bathroom. Kettle in the room with tea and coffee supplies. Safety box available.

Air conditioning was either centralised or not working properly, so it was a bit hot at night, even when the temperature was set to the lowest.

It was a very good experience to be in Ibis. It stays in a vary good location, near from everything, including public transportation. Staffs are kindness despite they can’t speak in English very well.

The staff barely now’s how to speak in English, so it gave some difficulty for our communication. Furthermore, my girlfriend and I asked to the receptionist to call a cab and she said we need to go on street and looking for a cab outside the hotel at 4 am, I guess It should be a part of hotel kindness ask a cab to their guests.

The vintage location which is only next to Izmir train station. It's only walking distance to Izmir business district and skyline beach. All facilities are new and overall conditions are good as IBIS hotel chain.

The parking lot is from TDBB (turkey railroad) just in front of the hotel. It's kind adventurous for me to turn left and parking during peak hour. The Izmir is notorious for traffic jam and traffic crowded. The hotel should provide free and/or friendly parking location. Please be aware, no-one will help/guide you to this location during peak hour.

good location near the port and main local streets, nearby parking for car with extra payment, good connection from the hotel to the main highways outside Izmir

As I visited the hotel in March and the weather was sunny and warm during the night I couldn't sleep since the AC was put on heat (you cannot change it as it is central AC), while the window of the room couldn't be opened since it has a security lock that you cannot open it expect 2cm, so basically all the night I couldn't sleep because of the heat inside!

I recently stayed at this stylish hotel and was absolutely thrilled. The interior is stunning — you can tell every detail was carefully thought out. The bed was super comfortable, so I got a great night's sleep. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either — everything was delicious and varied. The location of the hotel is perfect: just a couple of minutes' walk to the Izban station and the waterfront. Cafes and restaurants are literally around the corner, which is super convenient. Even though it's close to the center, the hotel was quiet, yet it's easy to get to the lively streets. Overall, it's the perfect place for a comfortable stay in the city center. I’ll definitely come back!

The only downside was the not-so-great view of an industrial building from the window.

I stayed in Ibis hotel chains before in other countries so I am familiar with them. As usual no major complaints at all. Clean rooms, all the necessary facilities (safety box, kettle and etc) and a great breakfast. Location couldn't be better: main pedestrian str with shops and restaurants and the promenade are in 5-10 minute walk. Izban (railway station) and tramway station are only in 1 minute walk.

wifi speed was not satisfying.

I had a wonderful stay at Ibis Izmir Alsancak. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Alsancak and close to public transport. My room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, an excellent experience and great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect. Izban Alsancak Station and the promenade were very close to the hotel. Really liked the room and breakfast.

The staff was generally nice, but it would have been great to see them smiling. Feeling welcomed is very important, especially when you are a foreigner. It would have been nice to ask questions about our stay when we checked out. Other than these details, the stay was pleasant.

Great location very close to Alsancak train station and tram stop you can get to/from airport in 35 minutes, trains run every 10 minutes Ferries to Bostanli and Karsiyaka are in 10 minutes walking distance. There is long pedestrian street with tons of restaurants just 2 blocks away, also long embankment with restaurants just a bit farther Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, breakfast was good Small fridge available, two bottles of water were provided daily

Shower water pressure could be better for sure WiFi disappeared couple of times for 10 minutes each, please do something with this
