I consider myself a world traveler and have stayed in a lot of hotels, including multiple times in the UAE. But the service provided by the Intercontinental Hotel Marina team was truly a world-class 5* star service. Arrived pretty early and was provided a complimentary breakfast and early check-in with no stress. Even with the half-board, the Head Chef (Chef Mahood) made something special, specifically for me, for dinner when the dinner buffet didn't have enough proteinous food to meet my daily requirements. I was highly pleased with the level of service provided. The Hotel General Manager is such an exceptional leader. She ensured the stay was memorable. The residence room was also well designed with adequate facilities for a long stay, and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the location of the hotel is perfect on the Marina. I will surely return to this hotel.

The fact that you have to pay for treatments to use the spa facilities was the only downside. Apart from that, there isn't any issue. Though it won't hinder me from booking the hotel again.

We loved our stay. We got an upgrade to a residence and it was very comfortable, spacious, beautiful, well taken care of, quiet, clean. The bed was soooo comfortable, pillows were amazing, cosmetics in the bathroom smelled great. Breakfasts were so tasty! All the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool had great temperature and comfortable sunbeds. The hotel is comfortably located - walking distance to the beach, metro station. We loved it.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that smoking was allowed by the pool. I can’t understand how in 2025 when everyone is aware of how toxic and cancerogenic cagarettes are I was forced to breathe in those fumes produced by smoking guests. There should be a designated smoking zone that would give smokers a chance to inhale their toxins but would keep non-smokers safe.

The location is great just across from the Dubai Marina mall. Also, Angelika told me that most restaurants open very late, and it would better to purchase the daily breakfast for $28, This was a lie, because several restaurants just across from the hotel opened at 8 am, and they offered coffee, baked goods and even warm breakfast at Habib Beirut restaurant which opened at 8 am. In addition, inside the mall, I found several other restaurants and coffee shops that offered breakfast. Do not scam the customers and provide them true information.

The staff emailed me and offered a pick service from the airport for 325 dirhams. It was my first time visiting Dubai, and I am not familiar with the fees for shuttles, metro or taxis. This was a scam to charge me 325 dirhams for one way drive from Dubai airport to the hotel. Of the staff were more truthful to their customers, they would have giving me all the options including metro fees, taxis, tram and uber rides options. If I took the metro, I would have only paid maybe 10 dirhams versus 325 dirhams. I will definitely not stay at this hotel again. The staff need to be truthful to the guests.

The staff was extremely helpful, very polite and knowledgeable - this applies to reception, housekeeping, room service, breakfast staff, concierge and bell boys. The location is very convenient close to super markets, restaurants and tram station. Big breakfast with variety of food.

I was staying from the side of the road and could get a bit noisy. Also upon check in the room had a mold odor - had to leave the balcony door open for some time so as the fresh air could eliminate the odor.

Breakfast is poor, the operating company is offering very little main courses, only eggs dishes, it is really very low star and cheap. The room service janitors need more training

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spacious with amazing views from the 30th floor. The in-room amenities were excellent—we even made use of the washing machine, which was very convenient. The hotel pool was fantastic, offering stunning views of the marina and great service. Special thanks to Sako Seid, who regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Both breakfast and dinner were flawless, although we did miss the option of sitting outside. We loved the close proximity to the beach and really enjoyed our walks around the Marina, JBR, and Bluewaters Island. A truly memorable experience!I'

Concierge Saddiq was an expert in navigation, helpful and approachable! Advised us on the Nol transport card and check again if we are ok after we return to the hotel. It's a blessing for the company to have Saddiq on the team! The breakfast was great. I had breakfast 5 times during my stay and I felt that they excel in the pastries section such as sourdough bread, muffins, banana walnut cakes, and croissants. Masala dosa was also good. My wife enjoyed the sweet/sour fish, stir fried chicken, spicy garlic prawn very much and the taste/quality is consistent everyday.

Reception staff was not empathetic when we had small hiccups during the stay. The service they provided was more on transactional rather than personal. Also had to do a follow up calls to get some requests done which was a bit inconvenient.

The room are very big,modern and clean.Air condition was working perfect. The staff are very respectful.

Put enough tea and milk in the rooms.We booked for 2 people, the tea was catered for 1 person.

We got upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite with a marina view. The suite was lovely with a kitchen, full appliances including washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc. Great location. Very nice view of the marina with a nice balcony. Staff very professional and friendly. Our room was ready a few hours before the official check-in time. Very good breakfast buffet with great options and good variety. Modern hotel with great facilities.

Far from downtown Dubai, but close to the Palm and Marina. Limited view of the marina from the bedroom of suite, but a great full view from the open-plan living room/kitchen. No bathtub.

The accommodation is in a great location right on the Marina beach. The beach is also a 10 minute walk away. There are many small shops and restaurants in the area. The Marina Mall is also a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very polite. The living room + 2 bedroom apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms and fully equipped (Refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, etc.). The pool overlooking the Marina offers a wonderful view, there are always free sunbeds and the water is a suitable temperature even in December. The breakfast buffet is heavenly (don't miss the eggs benedict) and very varied. However, what was disappointing compared to a 5 star hotel was the half board dinner.You get the same a la carte menu all week, which gets boring after the second night. It would be nice to change that and offer dinner as a buffet. Moreover, the service at dinner was very slow, sitting for an hour and a half with 2 children was not pleasant. But overall we had a great time and I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The a la carte dinner menu is the same every day.
