Great stay. Great location, minutes away from the Mall and the tram station. Huge room that includes a proper kitchen: full-size fridge, microwave, a sink, electric stove, a cutlery set. Dining table. Lots of included amenities. Amazing Marina views, at least in my room. Floor to ceiling windows in a 25-floor tall building. The included breakfast is good. Not amazing, but really good. WiFi is OK.

One downside is a 500 (or 700?) AED deposit you *have* to make, and, according to managers, it takes up to two weeks for it to return if you're paying by card. That is not advertised before you book. Price could always be better, but that's Marina for you, I guess. Also, laundry services are way overpriced. During my stay the hotel was going through renovations (including a loud noise downstairs), but that was the reason for discounts, I guess? Also, the lightning system is a bit outdated, not possible to shut down the lights from the bed, need to do everything manually. Location in regards to getting on the Metro: Marina is a bit isolated in that regard, the tram-metro connection is not comfortable. Not a hotel problem, of course.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Royal Regency for making my 18-day stay so warm and memorable. From the delicious omelets prepared by Raw and his colleagues to the ever-smiling service from Touqeer and the entire restaurant staff, every moment was special. Kristen and Immi, the lovely waitresses, stood out with their kindness and emotional support when I needed it most. On my last morning, when I was feeling emotional missing my family, Kristen and Touqeer comforted me with such warmth that it truly made my day. I also want to thank Ziba for going above and beyond to help me find a pharmacy when I needed assistance. Her care and attention were exceptional. A special thanks to Rashid, who not only drove me safely to another emirate but also ensured that my journey was comfortable and stress-free. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out. I am especially grateful to Ala Udoin, who helped me carry my belongings to the room upon arrival. His cheerful attitude and readiness to assist made me feel welcome right from the start. A big thank you to the housekeeping team – Mehedi, Amir, Abdullah, and Dharmand – for keeping my room spotless and ensuring I always felt comfortable. Their attention to detail and dedication were remarkable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of placing fresh flowers in my room – it added such a warm and personal touch to my stay. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly the hotel responded to my needs. When I requested a washing machine, it was promptly brought to my room, making my stay even more convenient and enjoyable. This level of attention to guest requests truly impressed me. The Christmas decorations added a magical touch to the hotel, and the pool was a perfect place to relax. On my last day, I noticed the General Manager feeding the birds in the garden, which deeply touched me. This simple act showed me how much care and attention are embedded in the culture of this hotel –

less smell in the air.. to much smell

I recently stayed at the Royal Regency Suites, and I had an amazing experience. The hotel is in a great location, making it convenient to explore the city, and it offers excellent value for money with its clean, comfortable rooms and great amenities. A special thank you to the wonderful staff – Fayaz, Lie, Umesh, and Shameer – who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made all the difference, and I truly appreciated their efforts. If you’re looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay with exceptional service, I highly recommend the Royal Regency Suites. I’ll definitely be coming back! Hotel was lovely, located well at the Marina

Our 5th time in Dubai and second stay at the hotel. A good hotel room for the budget. TV reception poor. At the end of our stay, the hotel got us a cab which they guaranteed would be much cheaper than normal taxi service. Definitely not true as it cost 150 AED for straight 24 minute run to the airport. We have used other taxis to and from the airport and none have cost more than 90 AED. Please do not recommend expensive taxi services to your customers as it does not do your hotel any favours.

Excellent location at Marina, The Walk is walking distance. Breakfast buffet was nice. All staffs at reception, gate, restaurant, Mr Taher, Tuhin all are very helpful. The welcome with drinks and chocolate in bed was good gesture. Festivities were organized in evening for Christmas with gifts, food drinks etc, exceptional. We even got room upgrade for free..that was so nice . Thanks. Surely will be back soon . Great wifi. Great TV browsing, YouTube, cricket channels. Car parking very convenient and plenty. Balcony clean.

Pillows were very thick, so we used folded towels as pillows. There was some unpleasant smell on the first day we arrived, most probably from AC duct. Room was sprayed by Mr Taher, and it was ok after that. Maybe room lighting can be improved like other hotels to have yellow or golden color lights. Curtains movement (to close or to open) was not smooth in room we stayed. Chair in balcony was not suitable for seating.

one of the best hotels in marina i have ever stayed in and this is not my first visit here. the staff is great, the hotel itself is very comfortable, the facilities are also excellent, so i recommend everyone to visit it.

The value for money for this hotel was great! It’s a magnificent place if you are staying for a longer period and would like to have the option of cooking. The staff was extremely friendly and a special thank you to Mehidi, Bawan, Anish, and Manik for always cleaning our room impeccably. The room/apartment had everything you might need with a small kitchen and a nice living room with a table to dine. The pool on the 3rd floor was a godsend as it is always very warm in Dubai, allowing us to swim and sun bathe in the warmest hours before heading off to visit Dubai at 16.00. If you prefer the beach, Jumeirah beach is within walking distance. And for an evening stroll and a nice dinner the marina is right under the hotel. Within 5/7 min you are at the Marina mall equipped with all you may need, if you are on a budget fast food is 5-10€ here (which we were not expecting considering it’s Dubai). In front of the mall you have a tram stop that brings you to the Palm Jumeira and connects you to the subway to go downtown. In you walk and extra 5 min you can take the metro directly (at the airport you can get a free Nol card that you can use for metro and tram by putting on money). So overall would highly recommend!

Only tip is that the kitchen was not equipped with a towel and a sponge. Easy to find in the nearby supermarkets but would to keep it in mind. The hotel was doing some maintenance work while we were there but there was no noise or inconveniences due to it.

Second time in this hotel , excellent service , extremely clean. Very nice staff, thanks very much to Fayaz , Mesh, Shameer and Summit for making our stay a great one.

all was as expected

What this hotel makes so great is the staff. They are the most pleasent, polite and well behaved people! Whatever we requested, it was provided within minutes. Special kudos goes to Mr. Parth on the reception! He welcomed us and gave us an upgrade apartment with balcony and I cannot thank him enough! We used that balcony so much. Munish and his crew made the apartment spotless every day and I thank them for their service. The people in the breakfast room were so quick to clean the tables and find you place to sit and they did it with the smile. Those are so much hard working people and are not appreciated enough. All these employees in the hotel definitely deserve a raise. The hotel is located in Marina, 5 min walk from Marina Mall. There are dosens of restaurants few steps away from the hotel and several supermarkets. It is so nice to take a long walk in marina during the night when everything is hustling and bustling. Try Beirut restaurant immediately on the right from the hotel on the Marina promenade. Great food! There is also a pool in the hotel, maybe on a smaller side, but still enough to refresh. Tip for the travellers - taxi is cheaper than Uber, so opt for taxi. They always run on taximeter so there is no fear of being conned. And one more thing - the city is so safe, there is no crime, I've seen half-naked women walking around and nobody even shouted any comment or said anything unpleasant. They can teach all of us a lesson how to treat everyone.

The breakfast room is small and cannot accommodate everyone during rush time, so you need to wait for the table. The staff is doing their best to lead you to the first available cleaned table and they are actually saving the poor situation, but the owners should work on finding better solution, like expanding the area for example.
