It was perfectly located just 3 miles from our destination. With all the new growth and construction going on in Reno, Boomtown was a relaxing, quiet place we gladly called home for the 5 days we were there.

Upon checking in, the person at the front desk seemed a little disturbed I was checking in at 2 am, following a 12 hour drive there. Had to go to front desk once to get towels because none were left for us. The male housekeeper "sighed" at my husband. Apparently my husband didn't put the dirty towels where he wanted them.

Nice location from snow play area. Mel’s diner still great food with decent price and open 24 hours. Fun center great for the whole family. Prices aren’t bad and has a snack bar . Peets cofeee has nice seating area and conveniently right downstairs. Indoor pool nice amenity. Gift shop is nice. Recommend “pool view” rooms with kids since everything seems to be on that tower. Live music playing and slot play all in a more calm environment vs Reno city.

Elevator 6th floor button broken. Don’t attempt to take stairs as you get locked out and have to go all the way down to 1st floor to exit ! Pool closes earlier than most. 9pm ! Ice machine broken . Vending machine out of water and all drinks and nothing for sale on that side of the casino or that tower otherwise.

We enjoyed staying here because of the ambiance. We didn’t participate in gambling, but we did enjoy the Mel’s Diner located within the building. This was our 2nd time staying in this hotel, so that’s saying something! We were able to bring our bikes into the room without having any trouble, which we enjoyed very much because it prevented theft.

The smell of cigarettes.. but it’s a casino so it’s understandable. We just didn’t enjoy it. Nothing wrong about that though!

I love it has something for everyone in my family, from restaurants, slots, and arcade.

The rooms could use renovations, a hot tub in the pool area, and the reason I didn't give it a 10 was because housekeeping kept knocking at my door at 930am the day of checkout. This went on to all the doors around us as well, it was disturbing and annoying. I had never been to a hotel where they continuously knock two hours before checking out.

Great location, being an hour or less from all major travel destinations nearby. Very good food, with multiple restaurants inside and out. Lots of ways to gamble for the adults with complimentary drinks, and a nice arcade for the kids. The room was clean, and stocked on arrival. Great water pressure in the shower.

The only complaint we had for the stay was the beds, my family found them to be very uncomfortable.

Very large, but off to itself. Plenty of parking, clean rooms and very friendly staff.

Well our suite was extremly nice and cleaned very well, which is is the only reason this stood out to me so mich. The interior room doors were white. So around the door handles looked extremly dirty. Again it only stood out because the room was cleaned so well that part looked like they skipped it.

Overall. hotel and casino clean and properly maintained for same.

Housekeeping not so great. Dark human hair very visible on the bed sheets upon arrival. Left room the first day there and housekeeping never came to room. Left the second day and again, housekeeping never came. Had to call the front desk to get a couple of fresh towels. Housekeeping came on third day while we were out. Fourth day and every day to the end of our stay, housekeeping never came again. No excuse for this. Some housekeeping staff saw us leaving the room and even spoke to us pleasantly, but never cleaned the room anyway.

The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice. I did like that the diner was 24 hours in case we got hungry. And we had to leave early so it was nice to have the ability to eat early

The rooms were a little small but ok. I wish we had a view to the outside. Having the room looking at the inside pool was not good. And trying to sleep but couldnt because people having fun in the pool, which is fine but would have switched if given the chance. Ask for a outside view. the room is dark when u can't open the blinds.

It was clean! It was nice that it was on the outskirts of Reno .

The rooms were very small. They put an extra 100 dollar hold on my card as a safety deposit until checkout. I was not aware of this surcharge and when I questioned staff, their response was that “it’s in the fine print”. Staff wasn’t super friendly.

they did not come and clean my room the hole time i was there that surprised me not happy about that they should of told me they were not going to clean the room
