Location and cleanliness

The tv didn’t work for most of the night which wasn’t good as we just wanted a chilled night in but suppose it can’t be helped

Really nice room well equipped with everything you need for a night. The mini fridge was a bonus and the heating worked and so arriving to a warm room was welcome! Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and when wanting to book a taxi. Be mindful that you may be walking quite a way to your room. This wasn't a problem for us though. The cookies on arrival were a nice, unexpected touch. We will stay again!

The shower head could have been better and the vanity and mirror light kept going off almost on a timer which made getting ready a bit annoying but can't fault it otherwise. Security chap walked straight past rooms quite obviously smoking weed but we weren't neighbours and so didn't complain. Nothing major to moan about though!

No problems were encountered. We were received politely by the reception team, as all staff members encountered throughout the stay, including the busy restaurant personnel at breakfast. Very pleased with the visit to MK...

I was a little surprised about the parking fee being levied as not originally aware. It's always been free, and the same hotel parking area was used when previously over the years. Plenty of signs were, however, provided in and outside the hotel notifying of charges. The location is perfect for MK Dons home football (also the local marathon each May).The retail park and restaurants are each nearby providing a great selection for usual shopping and dinner needs only a short walk away from the hotel...

I was offered a room upgrade for a small amount (£10) and got an exceptional room. that was big, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was fantastic so the whole stay worked out as exceptional value for money. Breakfast was fantastic with a good choice of cooked items (all looked fresh) and continental fruits, pastries and juices.

There was only one coffee machine working at breakfast which meant a queue and a little frustration as the one machine was running out of milk quickly (being used a lot). However, when I eventually got a coffee, it was very good quality.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and was so happy it was available for the dates I required. Easy to get to, in an excellent location with fantastic facilities and such a great variety of shops a 2 minute walk away. Great on site restaurants. Extremely clean hotel and rooms. Rooms are spacious with a beautiful view especially in the morning when the sun rises. And the lovely, warm cookies on arrival are an added bonus. Will always be my first choice when staying in Milton Keynes.

I can’t think of anything I disliked about the property

Easy to park and reasonably priced too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have social anxiety and challenged myself to stay at a hotel alone and I am glad I chose this hotel as everyone I encountered made me feel at ease & I think this will be a regular getaway location for me when I need a night or two away. Also love the location as there is lots to do close by & the complimentary cookie on arrival was delicious !

The property was fine. I stayed during New Year’s Eve and so the noise from other rooms was a little frustrating but I assume on a normal day there wouldn’t be constant shouting and running around sounds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given complimentary toothpaste when we realised we had forgotten ours. The whole room and bathroom was very clean. We had a restful night's sleep on both nights. The atmosphere around the hotel was calm and relaxed which helped; guests obviously bought into the guidance left in the rooms about appropriate behaviour.

The water bottles in the fridge weren't replaced on the second day. On our first morning, we found out that the shower gel was empty - this had obviously not been spotted when the room was serviced before we checked in. I really didn't like the fact that I had to pay for parking. I know we were given a reduced guest's rate but if I'm already paying over £150, it would be nice not to have to worry about a parking fee too.

Really nice hotel chosen as it was not to far from my family and had plenty of parking. Initially we were not told where breakfast was when we checked in but asked later. Gym facilities good and breakfast had a range of items to suite everyone. Cookies are a welcome bonus my son loved them. Nice range of shops and restaurants close by.

Design flaw with the hotel as there is only 1 central lift and you have to walk the long corridors with your bags which seem to narrow the further you went we were in 3076. Pillows were super super soft

All rooms are large very clean all facilities up-to-date complete with mini bar with two bottles of water inside tea and coffee making facilities and Aircon that actually works

The hotel is based within inside the MK stadium and as such it’s a circular hotel or at least the rooms are such in a circle around the edge of the pitch then the only problem comes if you check in at the front desk and your room is at the rear of the property so you have to either walk internally all the way around the edge or drive your car to the rear of the property. On the subject of parking here there is a private company that has an app for you to pay for overnight parking with the discount code from the hotel. It’s £8. The last two stays the hotel has allowed me to pay for the parking through the hotel and put my registration number in Which in my view is far more straightforward.

Cleanliness Location Staff mostly Size of room

Mattress a bit too firm for me Staff member in dining room made me feel uncomfortable after I asked for porridge with berries and a banana. I saw another customer with it and it looked great so I asked if I could have porridge. She said yes, I asked if I could have it with berries like the other gentleman. The staff scoffed and said oh he paid extra for that. I had it and it was easily the most delicious porridge I'd had but her attitude tainted my experience
