The lodge was ideal for an overnight stop for a visit to Bletchley Part- about two miles away. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and well equipped - cutlery, microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board, etc. The decor was a little dated. The attached pub restaurant served a variety of pub food, we opted for the carvery which was good. At breakfast, you could have had a full English but we chose porridge and toast. We were happy with the food and the staff were delightful
Only one bath sheet and one hand towel were provided for two people. The toilet holder was upside down so the toilet roll kept falling off!

Location was handy for Bletchley Park. Hotel was easy to find. Marina view room is good (Geese can be incredibly noisy birds, but not all the time thankfully!). Lots of suggestions for take aways, shopping areas etc. available at reception. Nice canalside walk from the hotel. Room was cleaned after day 1 and you don't get that in a Premier Inn.
Didn't like the huge list of "Don'ts" issued on checking in and in the room, made me think there must have been some big issues in the past, including wild parties and drug taking. Quality of food and drink in the pub next door is a bit hit and miss, but accept that it is an independent business to the hotel.

Overall, despite being short, it was a fantastic stay! The breakfast was gorgeous and the beds and rooms were extra comfortable! Every staff member was super kind and friendly which is typically unheard of when you check-in past 2am!
Only a small thing, the shower I had in room 220 was damaged in some way as water was spilling out of the side of the shower head and I couldn't stop it from drenching the floor, though I did clean it after the shower! The plug hole in the bath also seemed to be somewhat clogged as water was pooling at my feet. Those were the only issues though! Everything else was spectacular!

Nice clean comfortable room, comfy bed, usb ports to use next to the bed, free wifi, nice and warm, friendly and helpful staff, ideally set next to cornerhouse - (not connected to the hotel business) for good value drinks and food. We stayed 2 nights - however they called last orders very early on both nights and ran out of items not being able to order what we wanted… food we did have tasted lovely, just a tad cold!
The lights although they had separate individual switches worked all lights at once. Therefore we couldn’t have just one bedside light on, it was both and the main light! They need rewiring! The doors knowing they are fire doors, however lots of slamming of heavy doors throughout the night and early morning which disturbed our sleep, they need a soft close 😩 The bathroom fan was very noisy and stayed on a while after turning the light off… we resorted to going to the loo in the dark at night time! Not ideal… overall our sleep wasn’t the best due to all of the above 👆

All the staff were welcoming, communal areas were clean and uncluttered. Rooms are spacious water was always hot, warm and comfy
The Double beds are made up of two matresses. Whilst i accept the countless reason why this is done, this isnt my personal preference however the matresses are comfy without being too soft. The security alarm that protects the carpark at night, With an audible alarm is noticeable if staying at the front of the property and are particularly a light sleeper, however this isn't a problem if the room is at the rear. Again this feels like a small point that I accept for the added security for my vehicle.

We've stayed here before, I'd requested a canal basin view from the room again, and it was granted, thank you to them. Good sized room, hot shower in ensuite bathroom, good selection of hot drinks, great to have the fridge, glasses & cutlery for food we'd brought with us. TV looked good size but we didn't have time to watch it. Great location as we were going to the theatre in MK for the eve. Easy to find, easy parking, and friendly receptionists.
While the bed was a double and roomy, the mattress was a bit soft for us; and we could have done with more than 2 pillows each. I'm sure if we had told reception about this they could have provided more pillows, but we were tired by the time we came to settle to sleep so didn't bother. But those are only minor issues.

The location is nice situated just outside the city centre and next to a handy pub and carvery which was nice. Although the decor isn’t super modern, it does have a nice charm to it and overall is clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed in particular was VERY comfy. The room has a microwave, cutlery and fridge, all of which you wouldn’t necessarily think you need but proved to come in handy.
The only downside is the interior finish but to be honest, I quite like the older decor and think something modern would take away from its charm.

Very warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Check in was nice and straight forward. Room was great having a view onto the canal. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the room, was very handy indeed. Good space for what was needed. Was quiet considering there were boats parked outside my window. Bed was nice and cosy, good night's sleep. Plenty of parking outside property. Would definitely stay again (and have already booked) and would recommend.
Decor feels a little dated, and no plug sockets next to bed a bit of a nuisance. Also really didn't like the shower curtain as I did have to keep peeling it off me during the shower - Shower panel would be my preference!

The hotel was very good at accommodating a move for one room to the ground floor as they do not have a lift and the person to use the room would have struggled with the stairs. The rooms were large and clean with the addition of the fridge and microwave which was a very welcome change when staying in a hotel for a few days. Had breakfast and evening food one night in the restaurant next door and the carvery was good we all enjoyed our meal and were full. Breakfast was not bad with a good choice of items to choose from including porridge and toast.
There was two problems I experience with the rooms I booked on the first night. One room had issues with its electrics, another room had a toilet that would not flush correctly. Both though to their credit were fixed by the hotel within the earliest time possible/feasible to them.

Very very very inexpensive considering the alternatives. Don't go expecting holiday in type of style and design. It's put together like it has been around for a few decades and likely has. But it is clean and our purpose was to lay our heads and sleep. My son and I used the Lime app to get scooters and zoomed around to find places to eat which worked out great. The people were friendly and helpful. We travel quiet a bit and we would come back for sure.
Um....... Lemme think..... OH... We were right next to the water and we were woken up by geese at 0530. I remember thinking, "seriously, ladies. can you argue somewhere else??". I got up and closed the window which fixed the problem.
